Nothing special about Safepal hardware wallet, the cheapest hareware wallets that just work really well, very simple firmware upgrade and the app is amazing, second to none.
Thanks you for your videos. Are you sure it can work without bluetooth? I have an X1 and the USB-C cable I think is just for charging, at least I can only pair the X1 in the app or browser extension, only through Bluetooth
For sure you can disable Bluetooth. And to update the firmware I connect it to my computer. I’m double checking to see if I can transact using the cable however! Thanks!
Hi, it's august and I just ordered 2. and got the discount. One thing I was not aware of is that it is made in china. not so happy about that. What's your opinion? can the security be questionable b/c it;s made in china??
How do you connect it to something? Like a phone? A PC? And what is that interface like? Can I trust it? Why do all these wallet reviewers skip this part? If we're looking up videos like this we don't know this stuff.
He did say in the video that you use the safepal app in either your phone or pc and you can connect via bluetooth or the usb C cable, I understand where you come from but cyberscrilla's videos are mostly for people that already know what a hardware wallet is and are looking for which one to buy since there are a ton of brands. The interface is very similar to most hot wallets, you can actually use it without a hardware wallet, you can download it on either pc or mobile from their web page, create a wallet and try it for yourself; of course if you end up buying one, don't use the wallet you already created with the software wallet, create a new one on the device and never put the seed phrase on a computer or any device, keep it safe on a paper or for extra protection (to fire and stuff like that) on one of those metal things someplace secure. About if you can trust it: the app is decentralized and open source, you are the only one in control of your keys, of course always be careful to which sites you connect it or what provider you choose for swapping, and specially what contracts you sign.
Safepal can be used on both mobile and desktop devices. Tangem is mobile only, and it can be used as a seedless wallet. Tangem uses an EAL6 secure element, Safepal uses EAL5. Tangem has no screen, battery, etc, so it’s more durable. If you prefer a screen on your hardware wallet, the X1 wins here. Tangem is more beginner friendly. But I’d consider both wallets suitable for beginners.
What do you think about the banking system for the SafePal? I know Tangem was planning to do the same after testing in the UK, but this also looks interesting.
Already grab it as fast as i can, using your affiliate link. Because of all yur vids now i have 2 hardware wallet (keystone 3 pro n Safe pal x 1) . my metamask got drained 2 mnth ago. Thx for your hard work for making all this vid and keep comaparing all of em.
Dang.. sorry to hear you got drained! Hopefully you’ve seen some of my other videos that show you how to manage crypto to avoid that. It’s awesome you got some cold wallets, but remember, you can still get drained if you use them like a hot wallet
Can you please make a video on how to transfer all of your crypto from Ledger to an airgapped wallet? I recently purchased Ellitan Titan 2.0. But I'm afraid I'll do something wrong with the transfer and I end up losing everything.
You can create an unlimited number of wallets (with a new seed phrase) using the X1, but you can only manage one at a time. Alternatively, you can use the Passphrase feature to create multiple hidden wallets under one mnemonic phrase. This makes it easier to switch between wallets.
Hello there, I just got my Safepal X1, I have imported my seed from the trezor device I own but on Trezor I have multiple accounts on some tokens (particularly, some LTC accounts, that have different derivation paths, m/84'/2'/0' and m/84'/2'/1'), it finds the main account with derivation path m/84'/2'/0' but not the other one. Does the Safepal X1 support different derivation paths? How to add an account with a different derivation path, if it's possible?
It should. In the Safepal App try this: 1. Tap the token you need to modify (LTC). 2. When you open LTC, above the token icon it says Legacy with an option to copy it. Tap "Legacy" to change it. 3. Set it to Native SegWit and your tokens should be there. Here’s more info about SafePal’s derivation paths: docs.safepal.io/report-a-bug/derivation-paths-supported-by-safepal-1
@@cyberscrilla yes I have it on Native Segwit, but it shows only the amount I have on the account with m/84'/2'/0' derivation path (the default one). I have another account under the same seedphrase on a Native Segwit account with derivation path m/84'/2'/1'. It doesn't seem to support that (bip32)
The size of the charging cable is hideous. Especially because you cannot use it unless you are plugged in. If the wallet is not plugged in, it doesn't work. The cable is so short that you basically have to be on the floor to use it.

Every single hardware wallet on the market uses components from China.

Is shipping delivery available in India? Etherbit available But here is the cheaper price thats the reason I'm here :) kindly reply to us.
1. Does it hold multiple wallets?
2. Is it better than Tangem?
3. Is the $40 off per purchase or per unit?
1. Not at one time.
2. That’s subjective.
3. Per unit.
How does the safepal app compare to Tangem?
Safepal can be used on both mobile and desktop devices.
Tangem is mobile only, and it can be used as a seedless wallet.
Tangem uses an EAL6 secure element, Safepal uses EAL5.
Tangem has no screen, battery, etc, so it’s more durable.

Awesome!
Is it better than ledger?
I would use this over Ledger. Almost anything is better than Ledger at this point.

I got a question, I already bought a wallet but I need to hold more than 3+ different wallets/addys for LTC, is it possible?

Alternatively, you can use the Passphrase feature to create multiple hidden wallets under one mnemonic phrase. This makes it easier to switch between wallets.
of course they still made money. the production cost $5 to $10 max
can it be connected to a PC like a ledger?
Yep, it can. Check on the website, it's one of the ways to work with it clearly showed.

Use a different cable then.
Bluetooth is a bidirectional connection, and not any more secure to an internet connected device than a wired connection, from the research I've done.
I don’t think it’s suppose to be more secure. Just less potential attack vectors.
