Another tear-jerker from Clint..Cool how both times he and Freeman got together, it was an Oscar winner. You rnest one by him should be the Political Thriller " In the Line of Fire" ( 1992), highly critically rated. He's a old, broke-down down Secret Service nearing retirement..Until he's personally challenged by an assassin ( played scary by John Malkovich) out to kill the president to stop him.

You talked about how you don't understand how people can have a life when they are also in high level competitions, and I felt that. I competed in HEMA(Historical European Martial Arts) with a longsword for 10 years. It took everything to be the best that I could be and my personal life definitely did suffer for it. Even if you take a day to relax and spend time with friends or socialize, you end up just thinking in your head that every minute of fun is a minute not in training. So you don't even fully get to enjoy your relaxing time. It's a weird phenomenon.

Thank you for this one -
I love this movie. It's so hard, so tough, but that's what makes it meaningful.
His Catholicism teaches that suicide buys you eternal damnation. And that's what Frankie was taking on for her. He was performing, for her, the act of suicide which she was unable to do. His priest had told him that if he did this, he would be lost. But his love for her made him willing to take whatever consequences would come to him in order to set her free. I love that this movie was essentially Freeman's letter to Frankie's daughter to let her know her father.
I think after ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST, this is my favorite film.

    • @MovieJoob
      @MovieJoob  2 месяца назад +1

That is so true it was a beautiful and tragic thing that Frankie was grappling with his faith and whether he could bare the sin of her taking her own life or him taking it for her or letting her practically waste away and how cruel that felt. It's a very tricky topic and they handled it very well I feel!!

      A PERFECT WORLD (1993)
      Kevin Costner, Clint Eastwood,
      Laura Dern
It's a lesser known movie, and I don't know that it would make for a popular reaction video, but you might want to see it for yourself, anyway.

So sorry for helping put you through this!
You know, Unforgiven may be a Western. But it is also a movie directed by Eastwood that stars, among others, both Eastwood and Freeman. Just saying...

This is a real surprise and treat‼More movie reactors need to watch this movie and Eastwood's "Mystic River" from 2003‼🥊💥...By the way, is it just my imagination, or does Hilary Swank look like the great Judy Garland❓🌺👗🎶

    A suggestion for MJ
A film that’s become a long term cult classic amongst those who grew up watching it is called ( THE HITCHER ) made in 1986 The title is self explanatory It stars C Thomas Howell and The late great Rutger Hauer who was Awesome as the Hitcher . No one watching this film will be disappointed . this film is an American thriller with a great soundtrack with music that was unique of its time . this film spawned 2 sequels however the original was never bettered and remains an 80s classic For all those old enough to remember it like me . even if it’s not for your channel I would recommend you or anyone else watch it if they get the time it is available out there on RUclips for free !! 👋🏻🇬🇧

Hello, to see what I believe was Hillary Swank's next movie, eases the heartbreak of this movie. It is called " Freedom Writers (2007)". I hope that you will be able to view it.

Can you please react to the Saban’s Power Rangers 2017 Movie!!! It is a very goooood movie. You may look at the name and think it is childish and cheesy. But it is hilarious and shows the growth of friendship and trustworthy. I swear it is a must watch.❤🎉

Well then, I use my chance and hope you will see this suggestion for "Fresh" (1994) with Samuel Jackson, a criminal underrated movie (it's more the genre of "Boyz n the Hood") and you find just one reaction to this on YT, maybe two in future, when you give it a chance.

This is my example of a movie that is I feel like, unnecessarily sad and heartbreaking. I can like sad or emotional movies, but this one was too much. That ending honestly ruined the movie for me. I guess I just didn't see the point or the message of it. She tries to overcome a rough life and terrible family, finds some redemption and happiness and then... that.

The book that this is based on, a short story collection called *Rope Burns*, was written by a cutman that wrote under the name FX Toole. He didn't get his book published until he was like 70 years old. I'm a 40-year old writer, and I write a lot about combat sports, so he's one of my inspirations. Poor guy died a year or two before this movies came out.

It's pretty rare when I want to jump into the movie screen and "take care" of certain villains.
This is one of those rare times. Maggie's family is the one of the worst film villains of all time. 🤬🤬🤬
