Agree with you %500
I just want Jack Black to release one serious album. Lol. It would be so good. Most people don't realize how good of a singer he is.
His "Last in Line" cover on the Dio Tribute album is probably his most serious song. And it's absolutely fantastic.
Think about it this way, his music is 10000% serious and passionate, his lyrics are the total opposite loooool
Gotta love JB!
@@Rexxel369 I had no idea he did this! Where can I find it?
Agree. I say this often.
When he sang one with James hetfield he sounds like AC DC.
I think the "ah-HAAAAAAAAAAAAA" moment in Master Exploder was more impressively than the 3rd example here
He hits a higher note, keeps the note for longer, and he even uses vibrato without being out of key.
Most of this is without any evidence of autotune or pitch correction.
Jack Black is a beast with his vocals
Yes ! I was about to comment "No Master Exploder?"
Yeah, this video is automatically not valid for not having this example.
This is not the greatest song in the world. it's just a tribute.
Jack Black understands his voice better than most singers. He knows EXACTLY what he has to do to his voice to get it exactly as wanted. He doesn’t push his limits, he flourishes with the talent he owns.

OK, I'm now convinced that Jack can competently voice King Bowser.
I mean that was the only good casting in that movie.

That aged well

Wtf bro???
Everybody saying he needs a "serious" album like his band just doesn't exist. Just because it's comedy rock doesn't take away from the musical quality. He's spoken on this before and doesn't want something "serious." If you truly support him, you should want him to do what he wants and enjoy his work instead of continuing on and on about wanting him to cater to your wants.
Its still not a bad thing to wish for a album where he just focusses on showing off and his raw musical talent constantly. Obviously we love Jack for what he does and his own art form, but one can only imagine how awesome of an album that’d be. I don’t see anything wrong with that!
Dude, you can't forget the part in Tribute after he says, "we are but men. ROCK!"
The whole song is great!
Womp dee zoobi doobe doop di
His singing was great in the school of rock to and it was a really great movie aswell.
I think the scream from Master Exploder is better than The Metal
I honestly think Jack black could have made a name for himself as a singer. His vocals never cease to amaze me. For anyone who's never seen it, check out his cover of "Let's get it on" from the film High Fidelity. It really is amazing the range of styles he is capable of.
So this is how he'll voice Bowser!
When people say, Tenacious D should do a serious song, it would be amazing, I beg to differ.
Their music is serious.
Just because they are talking about silly things doesn't mean it isn't meaningful or the music itself is silly.
Totally agree.
For example, many System of a Down lyrics look silly and they are perceived as serious (and very talented as they are).
Jack Black is brilliant.
One of his craziest lines is on the song beelzeboss when his says “if we win, you must take your sorry ass back to hell”
It reminded me of a yodel
The note that he hit in Master Exploder was also insane
You need to prepare some space on your wall for 100k subs man
🥺 you made my day sir!
1:44 Talking about Brian Johnson you should do a video on him with Shoot To Thrill , What Do You Do for Money Honey ? (Listen the whole song to understand what part i'm talking about), For Those About To Rock etc...
The scream in Master Exploder is honestly a lot more impressive
This guy is a freaking Genie...that brow movement and those vocals...love it.
Fligu Gigi has left the chat
We want an update about Jack Black 💘
I'm surprised that the intro of Master Exploder wasn't in this. He starts with a low note (probably a B2 or B3 idk) and then reaches a high of an F#5! Holy fish sticks!
he has a Verdi tenor voice- with a little bit of training in opera, he would blow everyone away
I was expecting that part in tribute where he says ah rah gee fligga gi gee of something like that but nvm
Jack black is awesome
He is awesome and im pretty sure he's the jester on the masked singer.
Tbh a D2 for a Bass or a Bass-Bari is a given but the fact that he doesnt take himself too seriously and he is a living meme really makes people think he is a mediocre singer but this couldnt be further from the truth.
I Reached a C Note on the Low Section of my Voice, I Think that’s Because I Woke up from Sleeping Cuz from my Experience my Vocal Cords or whatever it is tends to do that. I Reached a bit below the C Note too, not to the Point where it would’ve hit B Note.
for everyone talking about a serious song from Jack, the closest we have would be his cover of The Last In Line by Dio. Go listen to it, it's badass
Holyy Jack 🔥🔥🔥🔥
James Maynard Keenan. Waiting for you to do a video about him.
Noted! I have a list with all the artists I'll cover and James just got added!
Billy Joel craziest vocal line could be a good one
The video of the most beautiful vocal line is a good idea tho. Remember the comment on Kurt video?
Of course! Or 'vocal lines that leave you speechless' is a phrase I've used for videos that I guess can be used for beautiful vocal lines
@@CrazySinging nice idea tho.
In the live version of the metal, he does a crazy bit at the point you showed us
Could you make a video on Brad Delp's hardest vocals?
I love how much you sound like Strong Sad.
I like Dave grohl as a drummer but he is the singer of foo fighters. I recommend you looking my Hero acoustic version on Howard stern show and the pretender at the end part on the sentence Who are you. Would you like to do a video of him?
Mids with power are difficult, not for Jack Black Master exploder baby
idk where u got that Eb2 metric from. the lowest M1 note male singers are capable of is a G1, though such a note is exceptionally rare. the only people i can think of with M1 G1s are like mikhail zlatopolsky, london parris, and maybe glenn miller (oktavist one not trombone one) or jd sumner (he has at least a G#1 in M1). normal lowest M1 notes are somewhere between G2/F#2 (for super high tenors) and C2 (for low baritones), with consistent M1 notes B1 and below being typical and almost exclusive to bass voices.
That’d be M0
@@CrazySinging no that Eb2 statistic is just the average lowest M1 note across a group of males that were studied. jack black sings that passage in M0 anyway, but the absolute limits of M1 registration are G1-Eb5. most people are not capable of vocalizing anywhere near those extremes though, as the studied averages indicate. go listen to like. any low note compilation that includes avi kaplan, jd sumner, thurl ravenscroft, etc and u'll hear full voice can extend even below low c.
How about the Fligugigu
Now you can add to this list Peaches song
Also should add timeline 0:37 on jack black, movie actors singing mario theme as well
Check out his melisma in 'Destiny' from POD album
Master exploder! Best vocals eva
Seems a bit weird Eb2 is considered the lowest note when it’s well documented that most Bass singers have to be able to sing lower then that to have a basic career as an operatic bass
For real. I'm just laying here in bed and i hit that note. I'm not even a bass singer lol
So we gonna talk about “Thhhomas”
Wanna make a bon Scott video?
Oh absolutely! His technique is insane
Tribute by Tenacious D
What about inward singing?
WTF did you upload on the wrong channel again marc
I've moved it here because it has more chances of getting seen! The algorithm hates anything that isn't Queen on my main channel and I'm not gonna let my work go to waste (?) lmao
No fligu, I'm surprised
i enjoyed this video
I’m so glad!
LMAO he is an incredible singer what
Waiting for Bruce Dickinson!
Master exploder vocal intro?
I was searching for a video like this some time ago but I didn't find anything
My other channel (the RUclips algorithm) doesn’t like anything that’s not Queen! I tried and failed. If that’s what you meant! Otherwise what did you mean? Lol
@@CrazySinging lol I forgot to write the verb 😂 I meant that about a month ago I searched for a video like this, but I didn't find anything
Can you make also Till Lindemann from Rammstein and Brian Johnson from ACDC
Added to the list!
do david bowie plz
Jack black is a great operatic singer and a great rock singer. it's not that hard to sing like him though. All of those notes are actually extremely easy. i can hit all of those with ease. Their are much harder notes from jack black then these. These are a joke. Lol
Ahahaha i was believing it
@@untipo. it's actually true though. it's very easy even though he is good.
ok buddy
E5 is definetely not easy
@@asierrey5666 Everyone's voice is different so I'm sure it's challenging or impossible for a lot of people but I'm not an incredible singer and I can hit F#5. G5 on a good day
No auto tune?
In live he's even better
And if you listen to the sustained note you can hear a little lowering of pitch, so i don't think he's using autotune
@@untipo. great, I love JB too, but since this video not using live records, I just have to ask. thx
@@javanesepoutine There’s video of him performing Immigrant Song live on RUclips, and I have to admit that it was unexpectedly good. This dude can really SING.
Idk what it is exactly but the way you talk and how your videos are structured make 30 seconds feel like 10 minutes. Needa fix something bro 😭😭💀💀
I understand the criticism but I’m struggling to get how two minutes for three vocal lines is too much time, I don’t do intros or outros, I go straight to the point and keep the analyses short. 40 seconds of the video alone were Jack's singing. I’m willing to improve and take your criticism but I’d really appreciate some clearer pointers, please. I’ve had people telling me my videos end too soon so you’re a pioneer. I really want to take your advice into consideration but if you’re going to criticize my work at least tell me how I could improve it. Take care
😳
Dude these aren't impossible vocals to do if you really wanted difficult vocals from a person it would be Freddie Mercury
I did that!
Lmao u don't know about his other channel, do you?
Ok try E5 with your chest voice.
bullshit
But the legend of the rent is way hardcore!!
