HELLO my friends!!! I sooo missed you last week. Life lifed and chose to spend some much needed time with my hubby. Today I am opening up and truly revealing my heart and the lessons that I am learning about myself. By the way, why do you thing the car was sideways? I need your theories!
Oh my gosh , Terry you had me on the edge of my seat worried about your little cat. I’m so glad that you found Tybie. . Happy anniversary to you and your hubby. And I’m so glad you got to meet Kimmie in person. She seems so sweet. I love you, dear friend, and what day we are going to meet .💗
It has been a wild week for sure but happy it exposed areas for me to grow and see growth I’ve already done. I AM going to find a way THIS year! (That video you shared with me showed the power of words)!

Terri, another thing: the fact that you both know that the other really is trying to help maje your marriage work, and that you both recognize your need to trust God and let Him lead, means that you have that firm foundation. Yes, second marriages are really hard to keep together. But, they are not impossible. Especially when God is the one who brought you together. ❤
@@TodaywithTerriK we all do! My hubby and I are nothing in a second marriage as well. It's not always easy, but it's well worth it when it's God that brings us together. Even though God hates divorce , He does state in His Word that insome circumstances it's warranted....as well as remarriage. It took me alot of prayer and really reading what the Scriptures say, to be at peace with going forward in divorce, then remarriage. And yes, I got some flack from some people regarding this. We both take our commitment to God and to marriage very seriously, so it took Biblically- sound reasons for us to allow divorce in our first marriages. And again in our current marriage. We are bound and committed until one of us passes away, and committed to holding eachother accountable to our marriage covenant.
Hey sis… I can totally relate to EVERYTHING you spoke about!!! I am always telling God that even though I don’t understand what or why I still trust Him. I LOVE the “will you trust me” stickies!
Thank you. I needed a physical reminder to stop trying to fix it and worry about it and let Him be in control. The deeper I go into the Bible, the more I realize I’ve been trying to run things way too much!!
@@TodaywithTerriK funny you say fix it. I am reading Jennie Allen’s Untangle Your Emotions for a book club. Anyway she likes to fix things, fix people etc and The chapter I read today was all about that. It’s a good read.
Oh Terri! I'm so glad to see you back! Your message is exactly where I am right now! I've been, am being support to my mom while Dad is in the hospital, and moral support to other family members. Mom and Dad both have lots of friends coming through and helping us out where needed, which gives me the breathing room to help Mom in the ways that I'm able, and it happens that the things I can do for her are exactly what she needs right now. I'm learning to stay in my own personal and daily cleaning routines and devotional time, to remain sane and stable for others. Through it sll, God is strengthening us all beyond what we can imagine. Praying for salvation for family members that don't have a relationship with Jesus. I have to say, even in times like this, keeping up withmy daily routines while away from home really does help keep my mindset on track. You are so real, flaws and all! I don't find you preachy at all! I get the impression thst you kind of feel where people are at and approach sharing about God and the Gospel in a relatable way for the individual. You come from a humble place in you heart that does not exalt itself above anyone else. We are all flawed in some way. But God has a way of meeting us each where we are, so that He csn bring us to where He wants us. So glad you had a wonderful time! I’m literally in tears. Your words have truly touched my heart. Isn’t God amazing for using a silly thing like RUclips to grow us and build new friendships. Praying for your family and your strength in this trial. One of my favorite songs from years ago is “God will make this trial a blessing” I think the gathers be t my niece sang it all of the time.

Please pay that God brings into my family's life the exact right support person for this family remember when I can't be there physically. 🙏
I’m struggling too my friend! One baby step at a time. ‘Jump in with where we are at’ keeps ringing in my mind and my perfectionism is trying so hard to ignore it. But I need to trust the process and just follow that advice. We can do this xx
I’m wondering if they wanted to drive the car, just for a little change/fun, and found the electric part a little tricky, ( fast acceleration) and got scared and stopped.
