Hello Messy Buns! I'm sending you sunshine from Miami. 😎Today's video is all about saving time by building tiny habits that add up to a cleaner house for longer! Yes, I am adulting today! Whoo hoo. Btw, I'm starting a list of my favorite products to make my holiday shopping (for me and the family) easier. Take a look and feel free to make suggestions: shop.howl.me/TodaywithTerriK Question: What tiny habit do you do that helps things LOOK "clean" for longer? I tried a few new ones and they worked...except I am not loving the gel toilet cleaner on the lid of my trash can because the trash is sticking to it! Maybe we let it get too full (guilty) but this one is not staying in my house. Sorry! Praise report: This trip was last minute and looks to be a promising lead for the hubby's business. If you didn't know, he quit a great job in Feb 2023 to go full time to build his dream company. So far we are squeaking along and have taken on some debt but 2024 is the year it WILL make the turn to the black-manifesting that. Thank you for any and all prayers for our marriage, family, and business as financial stress and uncertainty can be brutal! I travel with him as much as possible to support and offer a social aspect to "seal the deal". This summer is likely to be hectic but I will still be with you AND truly cleaning a dirty house that gets out of hand while we are away. Comment below if you will be off your normal routine during the summer months and what kind of fun are you looking forward to!
I love these tips! A couple of things I do: 1. Laundry clutter: i also have small laundry sorters in eav bedroom (people can just toss each piece of ckothing in tge appropriate compartment in the sorter...which deastically reduces the amount if sorting to do) tge sorters have detachable hanging canvas bags. And the feame is on wheels. So, I can easily just grab the bag that I need for my next load, OR roll the sorter to my laundry area (I have a one-floor house). 2. Laundry: I just got a new set of dish ckoths that csme in an adorable little canvas tote. Sooooo....I created a home for it in the kitchen. Wet dirty dish cliths get hu g up on o e of the bars on my rolling counter until they're dry. When they're dry, they go into the tote (it's now my "kitchen linen bag". When the bag is full, or I'm low on any of my kitchen linens, I toss that smalm load in the wash. So yes. Even my kitchen has its own dirty laundry bag now 😊 Also, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dana K White's no-mess de-clutter method. I makes it so much easuer for me to do wither ore-scheduled/routine de-cluttering, OR spir-of-the-moment de-cluttering when I get the urge to de-clutter something.
Great way to repurpose the tote to keep dish clothes together. I have a "delicates" bag that I use to keep my microfiber clothes together because I don't want to accidentally dry them...I forgot about that!
@TodaywithTerriK good idea! I actually do dry mine. I know I know...sacrilege! But I've had mine gor years and they still do a good enough job . They're from Home Depot or someplace like that...just a run of the mill brand
@@TodaywithTerriK cleaning the air fryer- I think that would be a great way to get rid off strong odors in the air fryer- not that we have ever burned something to a crisp in ours 😬

I don't like the gel cleaner on the cover of my trash for the same reason. I do like the oven cleaner trick! Still praying for you and your family ❤
You are my only clean video I watch I love your voice and your attitude it helps me so much I Am 75 😂 thank you!!!!!!!
Thank you for that. It can feel like it’s never enough or good enough but we have to stop those negative thoughts and see how far we’ve come.

Amazing tips! Going to listen again and write some down to try!! Thanks for a great video :D
Awesome! I love finding shortcuts.
You’re adorable and I love your videos. You remind me of a young Loretta Lynn who has always given me “regular people” vibes.
I didn't think of Loretta Kynn, but you're right! She DOES kind of resemble her 😊❤
Love that! It's the Boston accent, right?
@@TodaywithTerriK haha! 😆
I have to get a dish scrubber for my shower!
It cuts my deep cleaning down a ton!
❤
Thanks for watching. What was your favorite tip?
