- I don’t wake up early, I don’t journal, and I don’t even workout every day. That didn’t stop me from climbing my way out of 6-figure debt to making my first million at age 32. I’m sure you’ve heard about all the habits that you should be doing, but in my experience these are the only 6 that REALLY matter.

1. treat failure as feedback
2. set your goals and plan your time around them
3. learning insatiably
4. make your own luck
5. saying no a lot
6. taking care of your health
True 👍
I fully agree with making your own luck I just climbed out of £3000 of debt and now I'm making about £1473 a month
Thanks😊
Ахын дүү хөөрхөн байна амжилт!
thanks for the sum points
If you're reading this, I pray that God bless your health, financial wealth, and success. Stop procrastinating and don't give up! Your work will soon pay off. 💪🏾
Same to you
Blessings! 🦋🌹
For those who have health issues, I see you. That isn't a procrastination issue..
Seek the kingdom first and everything will be added ✨
🙌🏾
My old boss used to say “Health equals wealth. Say it, learn it, love it”. Thanks for reminding me of it’s value.
MrRikki you right. I could have all the money in the world, yet if I have poor health to enjoy it. I'm poor and foolish.
Health equal wealth👍 so true
😊
You might have health and never achieve wealth. You might even go broke and be very healthy as well. What we want is both health and wealth. Lot of money to spend.
That’s back to front. So people can’t afford rights
“… and, no matter how much money you have, you can’t enjoy it if you’re DEAD” absolutely loved that! You are candid, raw, and completely absent of BS. I’m really inspired by your channel!
Wow.
I subconsciously did #3. I made my own luck and was able to retire early. So many coworkers keep coming up with reasons they'll never be able to retire. Meanwhile, I kept crafting my path to retirement. Making changes as needed.
My job now is to improve my health. The goal is to live more years in retirement than I did working!❤
😮
Thank you Rose. I have at age 65 let my health slide to a bad place. I need to make small changes and start moving back to a more healthy and happier way of life. No more excuses. Stop complaining and take action. Just found you on youtube and am blessed to watch your videos. Thank you. God bless.
There is a book you might want to read: A Senior’s Guide to Living Well, And Dying Well. The author walks his talk.
The best for me since 1965: Chi Gong.
Thank you Rose- I’ve been feeling down and this video reminded me of the things going right and the things I need to make habitual again. It’s ok to fail- but learn from the setback- you are so appreciated
As someone who's been struggling to get my life together, I've put in countless hours watching videos such as yours. But this was finally the one that I truly connected with. Everything you talked about are things I wanted someone such as yourself to address and I finally got it. Thank you so much. I think I might finally be able to turn my life around!
Good luck with your journey! You got this 💪
Bless you!! You can always turn your life around no matter what!! 🙌🙏✨
Her trick was to go after bwc in her tight Lil azn pssy. No matter how smart or rich they are they can't resist bwc
Awesome video, we personally love it! 😊 Helps you believe in yourself and motivates you to succeed.
🙏🙏
she forgot to tell you about her parents that paid for everything...
Thank you Rose!! #5 hit home and my favorite because I always feel so guilty for saying saying no but this helps me as a reminder that I have to say no to somethings in order to reach my goals ~ thank you!!
I loved that you had Albert as a mentor. I think another thing that can hold people back are their financial beliefs. What they hold “true” in their minds. It’s unlocking those beliefs that can break down financial fences in life.
Asking for the reason why you didn't get the job is a wonderful tip! That can help a lot of people. Thank you. 🙂
SO inspired by this. I stopped what I was doing and took notes into Notion so I can identify what I need to change. I will be sharing with my husband and kids. I love your humility and realism, your understanding of what really matters, despite your wealth. I will be following. Thank you for this inspiring content.
Thanks Rose great list and another great reference is the book or workbook of "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People". And, mentors are very important and never stop being inquisitive and learning. No one owes you a job or respect, it's earned and expect folks to treat you just like you treat them.
Aw this was inspiring Rose thank you for sharing. We were really down about the pandemic years and how we went from a 6 figure household to literally destitute and homeless. And no we are not spenders and were already minimalists with barely any furniture before things went sour. My spouse is still trying to find new work and I'm exhaustively working multiple companies. This was a relief to watch and can encourage us that we don't have to be in a rut forever.
One thing I need to do is to include fun and rewards in my yearly goals. I have been working so hard for so long to build wealth, and I have been so self-disciplined and strict with spending that I have forgotten how to enjoy myself. Every day is working out at the gym, putting in a full day at my job, then coming home, cooking dinner and doing household chores. I rarely go out to dinner or a movie. I have been so ruthless at investing and creating multiple income streams, it has consumed all my time for years - and now I'm super boring.
It’s great how disciplined you’re being! But like you said, don’t forget to have a little fun along the way :)
You need someone who can bring the fun out of you.
That's so true 👍same here
It's all about ying and Yang, the world, your body, your mind, your wallet, everything needs balance. Just don't take on any debt to eliminate all your hard work 😎
I think it is important to have an outgoing fun friend group. Relationships aren't as good because they can get boring and routine too. It is nice to have a fun group of friends who pushes you to do things.
Rose I really love your content because they’re so helpful and you can actually apply them. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us ❤
i love how nice and down to earth you seem to be. i'm not in for becoming a millionaire, but i'm a very curious person, so i watched your video anyhow. let me tell you this : your video really is about rising above one's circumstances and crafting a good life for oneself, no matter the end goal one chooses to pursue. for that, thank you so very much, i will strive to apply the main idea i picked up from this, to improve every day, no matter how tiny that improvement may be.
sending you much love, and wishing you all the best in life.
So true...and so well said as always! If I may, this is more abstract at first, but a 7th habit could be "connect more with our Cosmos". That's seeing how everything is connected and then there's more clarity of what is and could be, more opportunities will show themselves without having to seek them, etc. Thanks Rose!
This was so good Rose, thanks. And I especially love that you taught financial literacy classes in your community. So many people need this!
Financial literacy and these habits with this lady's positive attitude equals a win! Loved it too!
This is one of the best productivity blogs I have ever seen. I am retired and well past the stage of trying to become a millionaire but roses presentation can be applied to so many things like improving your health, starting a new chapter of your life, watching your finances, etc.. I am going to keep this presentation for a long time to come.
Rose…remember last year when we got scammed by people impersonating you? As you know, we are an older couple, and we got scammed out of our entire their life savings. What I don’t get is, Rose, you KNEW it was going on and did nothing. It was a very elaborate con, so we put it all on rosehanscam for all to see- It’s very sad that you didn’t do a thing to protect us all. Why didn’t you take responsibility? Rose…why? You were kind at first, but then you got defensive once you saw that it was truly your fault for not letting everyone know…and then you ghosted us.
Maintaining vs moving forward. Love how u addressed that
Much love sister! Helpful truths. Sending everyone encouragement on their journey. May each one of you live your best lives. Wishing joy, health, beauty and prosperity surround you always.
Thank you for this! It’s nice to see a different approach. Most RUclipsrs say the same thing. Wake up early, exercise, invest into stocks.
Love the goals-per-quarter habit! Great video :)
Hello from the East Coast,
Great video, Rose.
Working hard, being smart about it, pays off later in life.
I do appreciate & agree with most of what you explain in this video.
never change & be safe !
I love that you put health as a priority and also mentioned what you all gained as a person even if all the success could be gone one day.
I would even put it as priority #1. Apparently even Rose thinks so…I just heard her say it :-)
The level of gratitude I have for you Rose and your mission to share your light with us is ineffable. I will simply say thank you and may you and yours
remain abundantly blessed.
Your very inspiring! Your right! I’m going to STOP making excuses! Don’t be afraid to be someone who repeats information. Sometimes it takes YOU for that one person to finally hear their answer.
Rose, thanks so much for putting up this video together because this is all so realistic and doable for me. Keep up the good work and continue educating people!
I really love your content. It's not really generic which is great, (I initially expected generic stuff like productivity advices that sounds counterproductive since it drains you at some point. Some content creators make unrealistic lists of stuff to do in a day which I bet they don't even follow regularly).
You were also able to put more details about the each habits in the outline. I only got into the habit of writing down good stuff last year and whenever I come across your videos and it helped me rewire my mindset. There are a few people I follow about finance, but yours is one of my favs because it's direct, relatable and it really feels like talking to a friend who teaches me about finance.
That means a lot to me, thank you!!
Great video. Thanks for sharing your success habits. At the end of the day, we each must do what works for us as individuals first. So for some, success habits could start with fire-walking, or a daily cold shower, or getting up at 3:00AM, or working out every morning at 5:00AM.....etc. Whatever gets you across the goal line hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly.
I love how this video explains complex concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand way. Keep it up!
That was great. I really appreciate that, and I'm going to incorporate those suggestions starting today!
I love this *SO MUCH.* Thank you very much, you hit so many points on questions I have or things I'm actually realizing. For example, habit #1, I used to just beat myself up and call myself a loser every failure but now I *refuse* to be my own worst enemy. I've grown to understand that failure just means I need to reflect on what I'm doing and tweak it. I've also began going to the gym, walking 30 mins on the treadmill, starting off small. I also love that you spoke about people that drain energy, I have someone like that in my life, I'll try the only texting method.
Thank you so much! Thank you for taking us on your journey & educating us every step of the way. Sending you light, prosperity, clarity, health, and love to you and your loved ones.
Hi Rose Han! I love your videos and hearing about your background and how you became successful. Great video!
Firstly, your content is always great and digestible - thank you! Second, I'm intrigued about all the wisdom+ you've gained/ learned from 'Albert' - perhaps do regular segments called 'What I've learned from Albert - {topic}' - it'll be an homage to Albert as well as paying it forward/ teaching
Finally! I always thought it's silly when ppl would just say: journal. I hate journaling, so what? I'm not becoming a millionaire because my daily routine doesn't look like SOME of the famous rich ones?
The fun fact is just make it done, how you're going to do that, it's up to you. Some ppl love to work in the mornings. Some at nights. Some day by day, some would burst with power & work like maniac for a shorter period of time. Some like to plan, some go with the flow.
Thank you for pointing out the really important and absolutely essential stuff: stay healthy, try to sleep:) and do the work that's need to be done:)
This was a much needed wake up call for me. When I retired from the Navy Single and with no kids(That I know of) I developed terrible habits living in Las Vegas.
Loved your tips! Listened while working out because health and knowledge are both very important 😉
Thisssss! I've always felt like things just "naturally work out for me" and it makes sense that I already do a lot of these 🙌🙌🙌
it's a wake up call for me. thanks Rose. I forgot how much I missed your videos :)
Saying 'no' to toxic family members by any means. Thats the one i prefer the most. If you do that your mind opens up, you start doing things the way you want to, the speed you want to, and become passionate about. Finding how to be passionate and keeping it up is they key.
This was the pep talk I needed right now. Thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you for the tips 🙏❤️😊 looking forward to more of your videos! More power and blessings to you! 🙏🙏
I appreciated your summary in the end on the value of self development. It made all that was said before, including the income piece, worth it to me. Thanks for sharing.
I love your channel. Thank you for sharing the lesson today.
Thank you for reminding me to not be too hard on myself. I needed it. Appreciate you so much
Greetings from Laguna Beach, California really enjoy your channel. You’re right about one’s health , all the money in the world doesn’t help if you’re not healthy.
This was hugely inspirational, motivating and life changing, over words can say. Small simple things are really the best and your example is amazing, thank you for all this.
You're so inspirational! I've been following you for a few years now and I love your content!
Thank you! This video was definitely a wake up call and very inspiring.
Thanks Rose, nice video.
I’m on the right path.
Hello Rose, Great to hear and see you again. Love your passion and enthusiasm. Your a smart intelligent girl and an inspiration to watch. I'm learning loads from you. Keep those videos coming. Cheers
Thank you Rose! I am getting richer since I followed your channel. I wasted a lot of free time before. Now most of my free time I spend on is reading books, all the books you mentioned I bought them all. After spend some time on those books, OMG my financial education went from 0 to the sky. Thank you very much Rose!
Rose back with another banger
Thank you Rose! You’re the best! You always inspire me!
Hey Rose!!! Hitting the like button!
I made my first million later in life. From my knowledge, waking up early enables us more time to do our daily tasks. We tend to be clearer and more focus.
Rose, Such great and inspiring wisdom. I forward many of your videos to my kids so they can benefit and grow. I'm certain they already have. Thank you so much.❤️
My favorite RUclipsr. Rose always inspires me
Thanks very helpful information reaffirming some of the habits to becoming successful on life and finamcially
I was watching you back in the day, you've grown so much on RUclips! Congratulations, it's a real grind that I always fizzled out on but I really admire your approach
i really connected with you in this. especially the part at the end about how material wealth will come and go. its very stoic
Great info, straight to the point. Looking forward to more. 🙌
So glad I found your videos. Thank you for sharing your light and experience. I needed this
I totally agree that true wealth comes down to changing your mindset!
finally, someone genuine enough to not fall for this wake up early trend. I dont also, the important is to sleep enough. It doesn't matter how early you start your day if you are to be tired and unproductive this day. I wake up at 8h30 also on week days and after my 9 to 6 job I still take time during the evening to work on my personnal projects and this is the way I feel I progress the most. The emphasis needs to be on having great reparative sleep.
There is no wake up early trend. People don’t wake up early so there is no trend.
Great content! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Rose, this was honestly a great pep talk!
Brilliant advise Rose, thank you again.
Loved this video and actually makes much more sense than waking up at 6am (which i like to do when i get my 8 hours of sleep). thank you so much!
The tasks are so important. Creating task and working on them daily will electrify your chances of reaching your quarterly goals
Thanks for the great content! You are down to earth ,I like that. 😊
As I see that for you richness doesn't mean to become more than others ,rather means growth ,learning, improving, enjoying what you create and having a more exciting life ! That's the real rock and roll. Blessings 🙌
You are such an inspiration and have such good energy. Thank you so much for all your videos ☺️
I appreciate how you closed your video by saying "same time, same place" even though these videos are an asynchronous and asymmetrical mode of communication, the habit of establishing a place and time for the next meeting before the end of the current one is key to maintaining continuity in a relationship; even when it's purely symbolic, it's an essential skill and one that my generation needs to begin taking advantage of, so I'm glad you're demonstrating it.
Thank you for sharing these tips and stories.
Thank you for your advice! I loved it! This is my first video I have ever watched from you and now I am hooked to watch more! I am so curious what types of goals you set each quarter. Would you be willing to share a few examples? Thanks!
I really appreciated this video. I too come from a culture where you're taught to be hardworking and very risk-aversive, which is ingrained into me, I can't push myself out of that mindset. I'd love to have you a video on how you became more confident with failures/built your grit/or something else that really helped you become less risk-averse. Thanks!
I like rose and her content but this is nothing but a puff piece. While watching I already guessed it was something along the lines of "accept failure, don't give up, never stop learning, find a mentor, take some time to yourself". This feels like something any of us could have come up with.
I just experienced a failure and yeah, I was ready to quit. Thanks for this video, now I know I'm on the right path. I'll keep at it and get better!
Thank you Rose! So happy for you and glad you are still making content. Goal setting and continual improvement are definitely keys to how my wife and I achieved so much so far. Got over $2M in 401K and stock, water view home near a major city, rental property in the major city, kids' college paid for, newer cars, stable high paying jobs (CPA and benefits consultant) with option to work from home, all from goal setting and continual improvement. It is funny to look back at my wife's goals from high school... she wanted to be married by 25, 2 kids before 30, and we did those. Mine were buying a house right after college and getting married by 27... which those were achieved as well (1st home is now a rental property). We have always been frugal savers that worked since high school, because we had these goals. Good luck out there and set your goals reasonably high... you will be surprised what you can achieve.
I love Rose's content and genuine advice. It definitely inspires me to keep trying. Sometimes it feels like it is all significantly more difficult to achieve with children in the picture and that's something most of the financial educators online do not relate to. Glad to hear you were able to achieve your goals, even with kids (or including kids).
Thanks for taking the time to do this 😊
Very motivational video here! starting my millionaire habit called health first, then finance along with others
my favorite part! "its not a level playing field, SO WHAT?" make your own luck! love it!
Great video, great list! Quality content!
I learned at an early age "that if it sounds too good to be true, than it probably is" that lesson costs me thousands of dollars, but it also saved me much more later in life!
I wish you could explain it more...
@@adrianavargova I invested in trailers that paid me a return of around 21% per year, this lasted for around 7 years, and I would have made money if I would just stopped buying "contracts" but that 21% was just too good to be true and when the man I was getting my checks from disappeared I ended up losing money and a lot of trailer titles that were useless paper!
Very inspiring list & thank you for your all videos in general! This one comes for me hand in hand with "Atomic habits" which I'm reading these days.
Love that I am 55 yrs old learning from you, you're such a rock star, such an inspiration!
Never to late to learn. I'm 70 lol
Excellent video! I follow all of these as well and it propelled my wealth into 7 figures from a negative 6 figure net worth. I agree with all of these!
This was great! I love how you’re just real, and there’s no performance about you. Thanks for the insight!
Thankyou Rose, wonderful Video!❤
Thank you for sharing Rose!!!
Very cool 😎
Great video
I love the baby steps to progress you mentioned… makes starting new habits easy
Hmmm ... 7:14 "don't blame [others] for your circumstances." Well, but sometimes others who you trust or depend on do bad sh^t to you, which adversely affects your circumstances. I would say don't accept your present circumstances as your FUTURE, regardless of whether your "failure" to reach your goal was caused by you or by someone else. Ask yourself: what are all the ways I can avoid that "failure" from happening again so I can reach my goal from my present circumstances? Keep preaching Rose!
you're the best rose! been following you since 2020 and i love seeing your growth 😁thank you for all the amazing advice throughout the years!
Rose! My daughter (17) and I just completely enjoy you! If you’re ever in the Bay Area and doing your van journey, you have a place to do laundry, rest and replenish!
Don't forget when you say no to something new, you're also really saying yes to what you could and maybe should be focusing on.
This one of the best videos on this topic thanks well needed
Great production quality!
Thank you for your vid ! I like the fact that your points weren't the usual (and obvious) advices that we tend to hear everywhere and I like that, like me, you are a woman who come from a modest environment. I want to be a better person even though I'm struggling with fear and also I'm "already" 25 .... but I won't give up !
