100%, it blows my mind that this is the person behind what we’re hearing on the forefront of pop, opening with some emo riffs and falsetto singing. Gives me hope for my own music and the future of pop.

@@user-cd3nu7xd2j He has worked behind the scenes with huge artists like Charli XCX, Kero Kero Bonito and 100 gecs. His sound has helped defined experimental pop/ hyper pop and that will only serve to influence the more mainstream pop down the road. His influence is massive!

I love that Porter featured A.G. at Secret Sky… in hindsight, a lot of his synth and production work, even with Charli, almost “alluded” to Nurture before it came out… takes me to a similar world.
I am thankful after PLANETS MAD it transitions into a peaceful tone to help me break free.

the way I listen to this set still once or twice a week almost a year later
Now that it was premiered 1 year ago today, i must say he started a new AG era like no other artist could. At the time nobody would think more than half of these songs will be released by the end of 2020. And more importantly noone expected 2 albums from him in the span of two months. Yet he still stays mysterious and his music only gets better. A really good time to look back to
Now knowing being harsh is the first song makes me so v happy that it’s on Spotify
