Hey Ash. Just stopping in to see if you made any new content. It would be cool to have an update on how you are doing. You have really inspired me over the years to work hard for what I want. I remember when you told us about you scoring a job and your sister buying your plane ticket to Japan. I wish I could be so brave. Hope all is well ❤️
Yooo Donald, haven't seen a video from you in a while. Thought I'd slide through and leave a comment. Hope everything is going well with you brother. Holiday season is coming, blessings to you and yours!
Hey Pharaoh! Thanks for the shout, my brother. It's been a while, huh? Always good to hear from you! Truth be told, I've been making lots of videos, just not here, I'm afraid. I spent the last year working on a something a little different: www.youtube.com/@dash.reacts
@@TheJapanGuy aww shewww, I ain't even know! Lol a brother doing big things over there I see. I'll definitely subscribe and give you a holla over there when I watch. Blessings.
Honestly, although what this guy did was horrible. I always feel bad for him because he reminds me of me. I'm a 26 year old dude. I excelled in elementary school and middle school, but struggled in highschool. I was always labeled the smart kid by teachers and students. Anyways I was a mediocre student in highschool and in college, not be because it was hard but because I felt lonely and purposeless. I had absolutely no one. I never became the adult I always imagines I would become. Anyways. I think the root of all of this is loneliness. Loneliness and pressure is a killer. It can make you very bitter and angry. If only he had real people that loved him and checked up on him. And the more bitter you become the more lonely you become, creating a vicious circle.
It's a common problem and one I can relate to. At 27 now (at the time of this writing?) There is still time to become the adult you imagine. If you need guidance, therapy or a life coach might offer you suggestions that you can relate to in order to start on a path toward your goals. Hope you are living the life you want to now.
a very interesting insight to a story i hade never heard of before, would love to see more interesting stories like this. fantastic work on the editing and break down of what was being said and shown.
As always, you know I appreciate you, dude! Thank you for watching, and for the countless times you’ve had an encouraging word. Means a lot. Yeah, I’ve been trying to up my editing game. It takes forever LOL, but if it helps me get all this stuff outta my head…I’m more than happy to keep learning.
Interesting, i lived in Sendai, Japan 2008 when this happened. I remember that it was on the news that entire summer, me and my family experienced an earthquake that june that we still were in shock from while the rest of the Japan seemed to be very used to it as they still talked about this massacre for months after
Thank you JapanGuy. Your research, captions, editing and translation were to the point and more importantly captivating. Great work. Hope to see more like this in your coming reels!
I didn't know that you came back. Welcome back! More of these please. I like watching videos like these but so far only American videos, no videos dedicated here in Japan.
I truly appreciate that, thank you 🙏 Yeah, just kinda been posting quietly. I’ll have to make more. May be some gaps between them because they take more time than usual, but there are some interesting Japanese cases to look at. Thanks again!!
Good Series, Sorry it took me nearly 2 Weeks to Reply, Good Start to your New Series, I really like that ur Drawing Attention to this & I think more People should become aware so that we Can Help get many of the People who are Suffering or Feel Dejected the Help they need?
konichiwa! Can you do instructional videos of how to play/translate japanese lottery?? The process of buying tickets and where to find results or claim prizes...
I'm not sure how I feel about more true crime stories. While interesting, my general sense is that I wish there was a way to educate people about the negative effects our cultural values and behavior can have on our children without being flooded with images of violence. The information you share on Japanese language learning are full of insight and offer a lot. I'd rather see more stories of positivity than another video leading me to believe the future is filled with despair. That feeling aside, I wanted to comment that I liked the way you organized and edited the story. I'm sure it took time.
Tomohiro went through something similar to John Kramer (Jigsaw) from Saw. When John was hit with tragedies, he drove himself off a cliff but he lived through it. Tomohiro drove his car into a wall but survived with injuries. Somebody different crawled out of those incidents. Someone else survived.
Jeremy!!! Means a lot coming from you, my martial arts brother. Thanks for checking it out. Yeah, same here. I’m sure he had his issues, but it’s not an excuse/reason to hurt innocent people.
liked the video but i would prefer just seeing the translation right away and you can break it down piece by piece after. The information is the important part IMO get to the meat!
My teacher is from aomori, he heard that the guy was promised a position, but then the company flipped it. So he knows he would have been fired leading to committing the massacre.
Thanks for sharing this. It’s good to hear new insights to this crazy case. I’ll never understand something like that triggers someone to hurt innocent people.
@@TheJapanGuy my japanese teacher felt sad for the guy. Like many other japanese turnt crazy he was pushed to a limit. And you and I know how crazy life in japan could be with working hours and hours non stop and can't share your personal life with anybody. It just get worse and worse. And don't even mention the employers and coworkers. You have to be really lucky to have a good working environment.
More Japanese true crime please. You're one of the few people who understand Japanese that covers true crime in Japan
