Many have wondered about who the Scythians really were and what happened to them. Are they lost tribes of Israelites? We have to start with the poetic license of Herodotus and look to archeology and linguistics. Their history is still a contentious mystery. Here is another contribution to a discussion.

I'm mostly Scottish. I knew there was extensive trade and interbreeding between the Celts and the Scythians. Their goldsmithing techniques and styles are very similar to ours were at the same period, and we share a love of horses. In fact, of the Scythians Herodotus said "They are kindlier to their mounts than they are to people, and count them as part of their family." That describes my elder sister, who is completely horse mad!

After destroying the deathstar and defeating the Sith they helped Gondor against the hordes of Mordor ... after this campaign some settled in Africa and founded Wakanda ... What happened to the rest of them remains a mystery. Although some are believed to have simply retired and started a popular ancient holiday resort wich later sank, also known as Atlantis. A remarkable people indeed !!!

What happened to the rest of them does not remain a mystery. During a severe drought they invented blue cheese pizza laced with copper. This caused them to be persecuted for their skin color and were forced to move to Morocco far away from Gargamel and his cats. Then they built a city full of nice cats. That city still exists. ruclips.net/video/s59uC-Jmg0k/видео.html

Celtic peoples as a whole more thank likely descended from Scythian’s in one way or another. The similarities between most of the Continent from China and India all the way to Iran to Greece and Russia and even Europe suggests that the Scythians played a much bigger role historically than we are taught.

Scythians were blond/red haired blue eyed White people
    FROM
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scythians
"In artworks, the Scythians are portrayed exhibiting European traits.[128] In Histories, the 5th-century Greek historian Herodotus describes the Budini of Scythia as red-haired and grey-eyed.[128] In the 5th century BC, Greek physician Hippocrates argued that the Scythians have purron (ruddy) skin.[128][129] In the 3rd century BC, the Greek poet Callimachus described the Arismapes (Arimaspi) of Scythia as fair-haired.[128][130] The 2nd century BC Han Chinese envoy Zhang Qian described the Sai (Scythians) as having yellow (probably meaning hazel or green), and blue eyes.[128] In Natural History, the 1st century AD Roman author Pliny the Elder characterizes the Seres, sometimes identified as Iranians (Scythians) or Tocharians, as red-haired and blue-eyed.[128][131] In the late 2nd century AD, the Christian theologian Clement of Alexandria says that the Scythians are fair-haired.[128][132] The 2nd century Greek philosopher Polemon includes the Scythians among the northern peoples characterized by red hair and blue-grey eyes.[128] In the late 2nd or early 3rd century AD, the Greek physician Galen declares that Sarmatians, Scythians and other northern peoples have reddish hair.[128][133] The fourth-century Roman historian Ammianus Marcellinus wrote that the Alans, a people closely related to the Scythians, were tall, blond and light-eyed.[134] The 4th century bishop of Nyssa Gregory of Nyssa wrote that the Scythians were fair skinned and blond haired.[135] The 5th-century physician Adamantius, who often follow Polemon, describes the Scythians are fair-haired."

It is not simple, and there are no "pure blood" of any people on this planet. Especially, It is extremely complicated in Central Asia. It is like the question of chicken and egg, which came first. There are 3 to 4 thousand years old Caucasians buried in the Shandong province of China. There are historical records of Caucasians who lived in the northern China in ancient Chinese texts. So you never know who were the original Turks, or original Huns were. Nomadic people never cared about someones race. If you were nomad, you were part of them, no matter how did you look.

The original Scythians and Sarmatians were an Iranian people in origin, Over time the Scythians in the East would have been replaced by East Asians and the Scythians in Central Asia would have become mixed.
History has preserved the names of some of them: Ishpakaia, Bartatua, Madyes, Idanthyrsus, , Skyles, Tigratavā , Octamasadas, Xāravalāna, Artavatauxma, Zarinaea, Sodasa, Sawarmag, Saurmag, and Zari- "golden". This was the name of a legendary Saka (Scythian) warrior queen. They are descended from what is called andronovo horizon they are Indo-Iranian horse nomads Iranians speaker, they have Iranian names.
In Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages, the name "Scythian" was used in Greco-Roman and Byzantine literature for various groups of nomadic "barbarians" living on the Pontic-Caspian steppe who were not related to the actual Scythians, such as the Huns, Goths, Ostrogoths, Turkic peoples, Pannonian Avars, slaves and Khazars. For example, Byzantine sources referred to Russian raiders attacking Constantinople in AD 860. in contemporary accounts as "Tauroscythians" because of their geographical origin, and despite their lack of ethnic relationship to the Scythians. The Scythians were part of the wider Scytho-Siberian world, which spanned the Eurasian steppes of Kazakhstan, the Russian steppes of the Siberian, Ural, Volga and southern regions, and eastern Ukraine. In a broader sense, the Scythians have also been used to denote all early Eurasian nomads, although the validity of such terminology is controversial, the Scythians, Saka and Cimmerians were closely related nomadic Iranian peoples, and the ancient Babylonians, the ancient Persians and the ancient Greeks used respectively the names "Cimmerian", "Saka" and "Scythian" for all the steppe nomads,
The Mongoloid (Proto-Turkic) peoples in the Altai Mountains embraced Iranic Scythian culture (horsemanship, nomadic way of life, traditions, clothing) and mixed with the Scythians to form their own unique Iranic-Mongoloid.

I am a bit sceptical about this.First of all,the Brythonic tongues, Welsh,Cornish and Breton, are related to Irish and Gaelic,or more correctly SCOTS Gaelic, because if you are speaking Irish the language is called Gaelige, not Gaelic,is a dialect of Irish. The Scots who spoke Scots Gaelic and inhabit Western Highlands and the Isles are mostly the descendants of an Irish tribe from Dalriada in the North of Ireland called the Scottii. They regularly raided the West coast of what is now called Scotland and in the 5th Century, settled in the West and gave their name to that part of the island of Britain. Before the 5th Century, the inhabitants of Ireland and Scotland didn't keep written records so we don't REALLY know that much about where they originated from. However, we do know the island of Ireland has been inhabited for about 10-11,000 years and the Gaelic Irish have been here for at least 4,000.The Scotii were Gaels and although some say we originated in Asia,we don't know for certain!

The alternate Scottish origins theory is that an Egyptian princess (or Hebrew one--depends on who you believe from ancient times) named Scotia was exiled from Egypt and went first to Hibernia (Spain) and then to Ireland. She and her exiled group then were told about the land to the east and that is where they settled--and she gave her name to it-_Scotland. But she is buried in Ireland.

Again many misconceptions are applied by certain individuals on a 'want' to believe rather than an honest impartial assessment of the facts, for example the pre-16th century Irish were formally referred by Latin scribes as 'Hiberni' - distinct from the Scotti - as St. Patrick's Epistle notates, where he describes the Scotti as 'Nobili' and the Hiberni (actual Irish) as 'Populi', neither one derived from the other, however the Scotti dwelt in the North of both islands of the British isles. Latin speakers were one of the few who were privileged to write, the Latin language was then the 'Franca Lingua' of the civilised world.
However what it means is that this meant that there were Scots in Scotland and some Scots in Antrim (Northern Hibernia (Ireland)) which was part of an earlier Scottish maritime kingdom.
The Scots of Hibernia referred to their settled land as 'Scotia' while the Irish (Hiberni in Latin) referred to their land as 'Ierne', (hence some Latin texts such as Isodore still used 'Scotia' to inaccurately refer to Hibernia also when it was in reality merely a partial piece of the island the Scotti occupied and settled in from the North.
They lost their original national identity in the 16th century when Pope Leo X told them they were lying when they claimed to be Scots and their country was Scotia and accused them of entering a fraudulent claim, and subsequently imposed the title of 'Irish' (Anglicised form of 'Hiberni' and Ierne) on all people of the land, whether they be the earlier Anglo settlers of the south (who were said to become more Irish than the actual Irish (Hiberni) or the Scotti in the North, who always maintained they were Scots and not Irish.
Therefore, the Scots of Hibernia were renamed as 'Irish', while the Scots of Scotland retained their ancient national identity to this day.
So, one did not derive from the other, however they were originally seperate but became one, in otherwords there was no divergence of them in Hibernia (Ireland) but a convergence of them, after 1542 (16th century) due to the change of language which also brought the change of identity.
Another example of this is Scotland's alt name in the old Albannach language of Scotland - 'Alba', this is the same name that the Hiberni referred to in the Annals of the Four Masters as the name of the even older Pict kingdom of Scotland, which is still used today on official government correspondence, Alba (Scotland) is also etymologically directly related to the oldest and most ancient name of Great Britain itself - Albion.

tents and horses... that was the scyths according to my man Herodotus' history, which I highly recommend, extreme warriors that did not "build" as they thought it to be pure folly, they wound up being the masters of east asia for a short 29 years because of a chance meeting/battle in which things all fell to them, but their reign was short lived due to their turbulent handling of their subject nations, I got the impression from Herodotus' writings about them that they were a proud race and expert militarily, if I'm not mistaken they had Darius at wits end trying to get them to engage, they were smart and cunning and warlike people, I always wondered if they were the Huns or maybe they were part Spartans before their ancient laws were regressed, i think they must have become strained into many peoples and places of which only God knows as they were known to be fearless and brave as well as cunning and resourseful, i dont know about all the beautiful maidens in fancy dress and all that pomp & circumstance, but if they could be come the masters of asia for 29 years then I imagine anythings possible, sorry, just thinking outloud....thanks for the beautiful video, thumbs up.

Cyrus the Great, King of the Persian Empire marched north.
A Scythian Queen met him, told him "Let us both go to our homes, no need to spill blood.
He set a trap, pretending to leave behind a camp, left gallons of wine, a small group of Scythians found the camp and after they were drunk, Cyrus's men captured them.
One was the son of the Scythian Queen
He asked to be released, was ashamed and killed himself.
Queen Tomyris sent Syrus a letter calling him a Coward for trickery,
& that he will get his fill of blood today!
His much larger army was Destroyed ,Scattered & within an hour, Cyrus was dead.
Tomyris decapitated Cyrus, had his body crucified and dunked his head in a bucket of Blood.
Cryus got his fill of Blood.

In Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages, the name "Scythian" was used in Greco-Roman and Byzantine literature for various groups of nomadic "barbarians" living on the Pontic-Caspian steppe who were not related to the actual Scythians, such as the Huns, Goths, Ostrogoths, Turkic peoples, Pannonian Avars, Slavs and Khazars. In a broader sense, the Scythians have also been used to denote all early Eurasian nomads, although the validity of such terminology is controversial, the Scythians, Saka and Cimmerians were closely related nomadic Iranian peoples, and the ancient Babylonians, the ancient Persians and the ancient Greeks used respectively the names "Cimmerian", "Saka" and "Scythian" for all the steppe nomads,
The Mongoloid (Proto-Turkic) peoples in the Altai Mountains embraced Iranic Scythian culture (horsemanship, nomadic way of life, traditions, clothing) and mixed with the Scythians to form their own unique Iranic-Mongoloid

Haplogroup U2 was identified in Russia in a 30,000 year old Cro-Magnon. Scholars believe that this group, after migrating north, became the dominant lineage among the foragers who eventually settled in Central Asia and South Asia and became the Indo-Iranian groups.
      Haplogroup F is an ancestral branch in the Y-DNA tree. It is the parent haplogroup to several other Y-DNA haplogroups, including G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, and T. Haplogroup F represents a deep ancestral lineage.
Haplogroup IJ originated on the Iranian platue 49 000 - 44 000 years ago. Haplogroup IJ became Haplogroup J in West Asia and Haplogroup I in Europe.
R1b is Indo-European. the oldest R1b subplate was found on the Iranian plateau. R1a is believed to have been the dominant haplogroup among the northern and eastern Proto-Indo-European tribes, which evolved into the Indo-Iranian, Thracian, Baltic and Slavic peoples. The Proto-Indo-Europeans originated with the Yamna culture people (3300-2500 BC). and migrated to Central Europe and created the Corded Ware culture.
The ancient Iranian peoples include the Alans, the Bactrians, the Dahae, the Khwarazmians, the Massagetae, the Medes, the Parthians, the Persians, the Sagartians, the Sakas, the Sarmatians, the Scythians, the Sogdians, and the Cimmerians, among other Iranian-speaking peoples of West Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Eastern Steppe.
Fatyanova are the ancient Iranians before they split from the Kurgan tribes, they migrated and many of their descendants migrated to other regions and became Abashevo, Sintashta, Androvnova, Srubnaya.
The Sintashta and Andronovo are clearly Indo-Iranians. The Fatyanovo and Abashevo can be regarded as proto-Indo-Iranians.

      @ahmedvanfalkenhausen7996 4 года назад +2

@Ksjs Jdjdb Mate this is a bunch of propaganda, the global community disagrees with this, and so do I. It is widely accepted that the Scythians were Iranian people speaking an Iranian language much related to the Ossetian language. Also I keep seeing Turkish nationalists bring up this Turanid race term. That is just a result of mixing with the locals and even then it's still false since most of the Turkic people today still look very Asian (Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Turkmens, Kyrgyz, Uyghurs, Yakutis, Tuvans and many more). Only the Turkish look white and again, not all of them and the Azeris look mostly middle-eastern. Anyway I predicted you would respond with propaganda and pseudoscience and I was right. Link me those sources and I'll easily confirm whether they are legit or a bunch of bollocks written by Turkish nationalists/ racists or Erdogan's government which tries to appeal to those people for votes. Anyway you have your own history from the Mongol Empire and a little bit before, but it has nothing to do with the Indo-Europeans of the Euroasian Steppes. Accept that fact and be proud of *your* history, don't try to steal others' and don't pretend that you are something else. It is the 21st century, nobody will prejudice you for your Asian descent.

@@deanfirnatine7814 There is no such a people as 'The Celtic people', the word 'Celtic' is a modern linguistic term coined by the English linguist Edward Lhuyd in the 17th century as a categorisation of old languages from Britain like Cumbric and Cornish and parts of continental Europe like Gaul (pre-France) and Iberia (pre-Spain).
There was however an earlier word that the sound of the word "Celt" via oral tradition did derive though, which was from the old Greek word 'Keltoi', which just means barbarians and is properly pronounced as "Kelt" not "Selt". No-one called the people living in Britain during the Iron Age Celts until after the eighteenth century and nineteenth century when it became romanticised in the Victorian age - where much rubbish about history was written to sell books and create a market which later led to the fantasy genre.
In fact the Latin speaking Romans called these people 'Britons', not Celts.
It was just used by the Greeks as a way to refer to people not part of their empire and therefore were percieved as backward barbarians whom deemed civilisation a foreign concept, so that would be most of the people living in Europe. 'Celt' is ultimately meaningless as a term of identity, no more specific a term of identity than the term 'European' is today.

Scythians can be easily explained in Bulgarian language! The verb 'skitam'(скитам) means exactly wandering, constantly moving most probably because they were cattle and horse breeders! The noun 'skitnik' (скитник) means a person that is constantly moving and have no regular place to stay! This way of leaving was a traditional Bulgarian way of breeding herds of sheeps, during the winter they were bringing them to the warm Mediterranean and during Spring they were bringing them back to the mountains in Bulgaria! Not anymore in use because of the frontiers! So finally in Bulgarian language Scythians means people that are constantly moving with no fixed place to stay!

In a broader sense, the Scythians have also been used to denote all early Eurasian nomads, although the validity of such terminology is controversial, the Scythians, Saka and Cimmerians were closely related nomadic Iranian peoples, and the ancient Babylonians, the ancient Persians and the ancient Greeks used respectively the names "Cimmerian", "Saka" and "Scythian" for all the steppe nomads,
The Mongoloid (Proto-Turkic) peoples in the Altai Mountains embraced Iranic Scythian culture (horsemanship, nomadic way of life, traditions, clothing) and mixed with the Scythians to form their own unique Iranic-Mongoloid

Over 60 now and still have the same tendencies. I can tell you for certain, that nothing about this age and it's "advanced" cultures, prepares folks for the type of living these folks did. @@caleb2507 There is no such a people as 'The Celtic people', the word 'Celtic' is a modern linguistic term coined by the English linguist Edward Lhuyd in the 17th century as a categorisation of old languages from Britain like Cumbric and Cornish and parts of continental Europe like Gaul (pre-France) and Iberia (pre-Spain).
It was just used by the Greeks as a way to refer to people not part of their empire and therefore were percieved as backward barbarians, so that would be most of the people living in Europe. So 'Celt' is ultimately meaningless as a term of identity, no more specific a term of identity than the term 'European' is today.

In Bulgarian (and probably most other Slavic languages), "skitnik" is still the main word for "wanderer". Funnily enough, "skot" means two things: "cattle/property" (skotovad=cattle-breeder) or "a person, who lives like a wild animal, often alone; a lowly, rude person". That's unrelated to the Scots, though, whom we call "shotlandtsi" (respectively, Scotland is Shotlandia).

Although, in slovene "Škoti" exists, interestingly enough we have our own name for them instead of just borrowing it from our neighbours like you bulgarians did. Over some time words begin distorting but some keep more to their original than the others.

Though in our case, I think we got "shotlandtsi" from the Russians, simply because we never had serious enough contacts with the Scots until modern times. I don't know where the Russians got it from though (i.e. the form with the dropped "k/c").

Seigneurie19 Your stupidity is astounding.Negro is just the Latin word for black, and it was used to describe people with a high content of melanin in their skin.It has other connotative meanings, but that's it's most recent, so a negrocentric person would be someone who focuses on the study of melanin.Since melanin is the natural chemical pigment found in the original humans, and. modern humans without generic defects, unlike pale people. That would make a negrocentric person, a person who focuses on the study of the original humans that occupied every corner of the planet.
Now tell me with that intellect that alludes you.How is focusing on the original humans with the most dominant genes a bad thing you stupid fuck.Furthermore if you think thr new world order is promoting these ideas, that tells is two things. It's profitable and very important and that's just what melanin is.It's worth more than gold and platinum and it sells at 350 dollars pwr gram and it's photosynthetic. It absorbs light and turns it into energy.I think you should be more negrocentric if the so called negro has something that important stupid

Seigneurie19 You have no idea what you're talking about.Stop reciting outdated racist 19th century lies. The Sahara was filled with river and lakes. It just turned to a desert 5 to 6 thousand years ago.Google it.
Those people migrated into Eurasia which was controlled by the As- Guzai.As- Guzai is the real name of the Scythains or Saka. They were also known as As-Kishi or Kush and the Hindu Kush mountains is named after them. The melanated( black) people you know as Buddha was from the As-Guzai( Kush) nation, and that's why the first Buddha( Guatma) was known as Shyakamuni or the Great Saka. Now if you got melanated people in Africa and Asia. How the fuck is the Sahara a barrier. You can see the true images of the melanated Saka in the Mogao caves.
The melanated people that live in Australia like the aborigines, or the Aeta of the Philippines, or the melanated people of Oceania( Fiji, Melanesia etc),once lived in Northern and Central Asia.Their haplogroups like C and D are still found there amongst the paler people, so how did they change colors. The Saka or Scythains were notorious slave traders, and even the word slave is a corruption of their national name, and their sister nation the Veneti ( Heneti, Pheneti etc) The name Saka and Veneti was corrupted into Sakaliba then Slovene, and eventually slav and slave.Sakaliba, Slovene and slav( slave) was used for their pale skin, red and blond hair human property of the original melanated Saka. The works of Ibn Fadlan and Ibn Khordadbeh detail this.
These slavs were used as concubines and mamaluks( slave soldiers) by Moors, Romans, the Saka themselves etc. Those mamaluks eventually took over regions in the Saka empire in the 13th century. They've been committing genocide ever since. The Cossacks who are descendents of slavs were responsible of the Siberian genocide, Nenets genocides, Kamchatka genocide etc. They would kill the men and rape the women producing the hybrid populations you see today. That's why some Asians such as Russians look like the original slavs with their pale skin and the yellow Asians look like a slav and Saka( melanated people) hybrid. If you didn't know.Saka tribes like the Sarmatians and Huns were described as short and black with slanted eyes.Once again, you can see their images in the Mogao caves.
Those melanated Asians were birthed by one of the oldest groups on the planet, and they're called the Khosian. They live in Africa but their ancestors were the first to colonize the planet. That's why the Saka had the same facial phenotype as them, and that's also the reason why the Khosian haplogroup of L is considered the proverbial genetic EVE.That means the whole planet was colonized by melanated people, before people with recessive and damage genes for pale skin ever existed so how could we only be found in Africa. You really don't know shit.

in Croatian " to wander around" is: skitati ... and Scythians in Croatian is: Skiti ... some Byzantine historian of 11th century wrote that both Croats and Serbs are Scythians in origin, although Croats are through their national name HRVATI (in Croatian language: Hrvati= Croats) related by linguists more with Sarmatians, especially with people of ALANI (branch of Sarmatians). In language of Alani word hurvatu had meaning : keeper, guard ... In second half of 19th century it was found in excavation at location of ancient city of Tanais, near the mouth of river Don into the Sea of Azov, two stone tablets with inscription in classical Greek alphabet. Stone tablets with inscription are dated to cca. year 200AD. Tanais on river Don started as a Greek Colony, but with time the population was half-Greek and half-Sarmatian. Text in tablets is mostly the list of the names of city magistrates who held some duties. The half of names are evidently Greek ones and another half are belonging to some language of Iranian linguistic branch, because in linguistics there is Indo-iranian language subfamily of Indo-European linguistic family. (Ancestors of the peoples who brought Indo-Iranian languages to the territory of modern Iran and to India were in the past living in region around the north of the Caspian Sea; from there they went south to Iran and other branch went to India. These migrations took place somewhere around year 2000 BC. Those people were known in the past, before they split in two branches as Arians (Aryans). For example, Greek historian Herodotus (5th century BC) wrote in his work "Histories apodeksis" (known only as Histories in English) that the Medians were called earlier Arians. (Medians were historic people in western Iran, famous by their horses and cavalry, having an empire during 7th and 6th century, but empire was overtaken by Persians , another Iranian group, cca. 546 BC) . From these same ancient Arians came out the Scythians and Sarmatians which went to the territories west of Caspian sea, that is to the stepp plains of southern Rusia and Ukraina. Already Herodotus (5th century BC) wrote that Sauromates/Sarmates are attacking and pressing in war Scythians more to the west across the river Don (to the Greeks known as Tanais). In those tablets from ancient city of Tanais that I have mentioned earlier among other names is two times written personal name as: Horouathos. Because Greek classical alphabet didn't have a letter for voice /v/ or /w/ they put three vowels -oua- together, what is of course, impossible to pronounce except as: [Horwathos]. If we remove typical Greek ending -os, then we have name Horwat/Horvat what is form of Croatian national name and very common last name in Croatia, Slovenia, Srbia, Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia and it is present also in Poland and in Ukraina, even in Russia (especially in region between Caspian sea and the Black sea and down to the Caucasus and in north all the way to the Tatarstan. I have found that today even in Turkic speaking Uzbekistan there is at least 260 individuals bearing this last name. And as I said the name of Croats in Croatian language is: Hrvati and the country is: Hrvatska. It seems that some group of Sarmatians/Alani people under name of Horvate came to central-western Ukraina and there mixed with Slavic population, accepting Slavic language but giving their name to the tribe. As we know from the Chronicle of Nestor from Kiiv, Hrvati were from 8th to 10th century one of eight important tribes in state of Kievska Rus. Croats in Ukraina were living as it seems around the upper Dniester river, south from modern city Loviv (Lawow) and towards Podolia and maybe all the way to the city Zhitomir. From there one part of Croats/Hrvati went west to modern south Poland and to the Czechia. Those Croats from southern Poland, being semi-nomadic horsemen and warriors, as it seems, during the time of power of the state of king Samo in Moravia (modern region Moravia is between Czech and Slovakia) cca. year 630, went to south to Roman province of Dalmatia. The story about origin of Croats and how they came to Dalmatia and when is written cca. 950 AD by Byzantine emperor Konstantinos Porphyrogennetos in his work written in Greek language, but known under Latin name as "De administrando imperio" in chapters 30 and 31. According to the emperor Konstantin, Croats (he calls them; Hrovatoi in Greek) came to Dalmatia in the time of emperor Heraklios (610-641) as fighters against Avars. After defiting Avars in Dalmatia, they took land for them selves and stayed there untill today.

Let us briefly list the main provisions of the previous article, which made it possible to exclude the Don Alans from the ancestors of both the Karachay-Balkar haplogroup G2a and the Ossetians of the same haplogroup. Among the Karachay-Balkarians, carriers of the G2a haplogroup occupy one third of all men, and among Ossetians - up to three quarters. There is another important candidate for the main ancestors, the haplogroup R1a, about a third in Karachay-Balkarians, but Ossetians have almost none, only 0.85%. In general, the generic (that is, in terms of the haplogroups of the Y-chromosome) origin of modern Ossetians and Karachay-Balkarians is as follows.
    Ossetians:
    G2a - 70% (Ironists - 74%, Digorians - 60%)
    J2a - 14%
    R1b - 7%
    Others - 9% (single examples of haplogroups C, E1b, I2c, J1, L1b, Q1a, R1a, T1a)
    Karachay-Balkarians:
    R1a - 32%
    G2a - 29%
    J2a - 13%
    R1b - 8%
    I2 - 7%
    Q - 5%
    Others - 6% (isolated examples of haplogroups E1b, J1, T1a)
It should be noted here that the origin of all major genera-haplogroups is different. In Karachai-Balkar R1a has a subsidiary Aryan, that is, Scythian origin, as indicated by their main subclade R1a-Z93-L342.2-Z2123. Their brothers belonging to the subclade R1a-Z93-L342.2-L657 left for India in the middle of the 2nd millennium BC. like legendary arias; their relatives belonging to subclade R1a-Z93-L342.2-Z2124 later left for historical Bactria (and Pashtuns with this subclade, Z2124, live there now, this is their main subclade, which half of all Pashtuns of Afghanistan and Pakistan have) Finally, Caucasian carriers of the Z2123 subclade, a subsidiary of Z2124, make up a third of the Karachay-Balkarians, but the Ossetians have practically none.

The Scythian language was not the ancestor of all indoeuropean languages. It was a northern Iranian language, from the Iranian branch of the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indoeuropean languages. The association between the Scots and Scythians is a completely made up pseudoscientific nonsense. Finally, what is that lost tribes of Israel thing that you have written in the description.
Also to all my Turkish brothers and sisters, not all nomadic people if the steps were Turkic. During this time, Proto Turkic speaking peoples probably lives much farther to the east of the Altai mountains. They started migrating west in the 3rd and fourth centuries AD and absorbed the Scyhtians. The modern Ossetian language in the Caucasus is the last remnant of the Scythian language.
By the way race and language are two different things. Most Syrians were fair skinned with blonde or red hair and green or blue eyes. But the farther east you went, the more mixed with East Asian people they got. This is still true in the Eurasian steps.
Finally, to my Indian and Iranian friends. The Indoarian peoples migrating from the steppes to India and Iran is still the most credible hypothesis. There is this growing trend to say that such migration did not happen. But just like the claims of Turkish people, this has mire to do with modern politics than real history.

Everyone is either trying to blame all of history's problems starting in Classical times on Jews or Muslims, or trying to degrade Nordic Europe's non-Abrahamic influence on the Middle East, or something just as absurd. One of the casualties of this, is the truth of tribal origins, and sadly, a good piece of history itself. I myself will likely never be able to trace myself specifically to my Celtic clan, and all I have is my original last name to go on, and the generalised adjective of 'Celtic'.
Many white people, because of this constant dogmatic occulting of Europe's and the Middle East's true human tribal origins, have truly forgotten themselves. I am fortunate to at least be able to generalise on a map where blood meets soil. Many other white people only have the colour of their skin and 'Christian' to run with these days.

However, the Nordic mythology derives directly from the Slavic and pre-Slavic (aka Scyhian) mythology. Look up the parallels between Perun and Odin & Thor. And then there is the whole Kieven Rus Slavic-Scandinavian connection. Thor's hammer is Perun's axe both have been discovered in Scandinavia as worn amulets.

The Scythians were considered as the oldest Europeans by the Greeks. Those Scythians were Aryans steppes pastoralists. They lived from West Poland to Kazakstan. The word "scyth" is a Greek word derived from the Slavic word "skit" or "skitalec" in Russian, meaning "wanderer" in English.
Nomads? Really? They were not only nomads, even the fact that they created the nomad lifestyle, as ancient Greeks said. There were workshops, metallurgists, scientists in ancient Sarmatia - Scythia.
They produced iron from ore, transformed it into steel, using various techniques of forging, hardening, carburizing and welding.
The people of all Eurasia learnt about the new metal from Scythians.
They copied from the Scythians the craft of iron processing.
Ancient Greek authors themselves spoke about how Scythians created the nomad lifestyle, the invention of agriculture and copper melting.
Once a time, a Scythian was elevated by the Greeks to the demi-god hero status by the Areopag of Athens, for stopping a plague epidemic in Athens. (It remember me of how Poland and Slavs were officially "cursed" by Europe's death plagues.)
Herodotus ends his description of the Scythians with the following words: "We know of no other such intellectually distinguished people but the Scythian people."
Here, the biggest proof I found, under year 907:
"Oleg went against the Greeks, leaving Igor in Kiev, and taking with him many Varjags, Slovens, Chudi, Krivichi, Merju, Drevljane, Rodimichi, Poljane, Severjane, Vjatichi, Horvaty, Duleby, Tolmachi. And they were all called by the Greeks "The Great Scythia"

Get it into your head, Scythians were an Iranian tribe who spoke an Iranian language with Iranian culture. The Scythians arts and culture were very similar if not exactly the same as the early Persians, Medes and Parthians. On the other hand, Hebrews are semite like Arabs with their own distinct language and culture which is totally different than the Iranian peoples. So many people making statements here that has as much thoughts as what comes out of their rear ends!!

I don't think Scyth and Scot derive from the Gaelic sguit. It's more like the Scyth and sguit (with Scot) derive from a common source. The Gaelic word sguit has had a couple of millennia time to change, (like the sc- beginning sounds older than sg-, thinking how the sound changes normally happen) - it's not in its ancient form.
Scot and especially Scyth were known earlier, than how to spell or write sguit - though as a spoken word it has existed in some form in the time of Antique already. The Scyth was first likely said like Scuth, meaning like 'scoot' or 'scute' with aspirated t, like 'tuck' in English has an aspirated t. That sounds even closer to Scot.
Does the English word scoot, or scooter derive from the Gaelic sguit? Or from some other Celtic language?

The huge blond men were scandinavian lego soldiers payed by many kings in Eurasia who used them and trusted them more than their own people. Many settled and had families with women where they lived like the Gots( also called Geats ) who originally to their stories came from Gotaland ( southern Sweden ) and the island of Gotland. Adam of Bremen clarified the scyts were originally from scandinavia.
