The entire Central Asia from Kazakhstan to Xinjiang, from Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzia belonged to the Indo Iranians (Scythians, Alans, Sakas, Sogdians, Tocharians, Bactrians). Turks came much later. Turks have nothing to do with Scythians. Descendants of Scythians are mixed with local Indo Iranian speaking population from Eastern Europe to Western India.

@@sreenarayanram5194 thank you for that very detailed reply.....I will look into that further ,but you see the u tube video was dealing with sarmstian descendants not specifically aryans, however from what I am aware the last known peoples today with the strongest vestiges of sarmatian genes and language are the Alan's of ossetia....however their gene pool only survives on the female side... .as the males were mainly killed off by the invading Mongols post roman empire... they the Alan's had settled here in the caucausus..after Rome defeated them....yes no doubt some branches of sarmatian went to India.....they originally were based on the borders of the persian empire...but were not strictly speaking Iranian....aryan is a very general term, and what constitutes aryan is in my opinion very much open to debate.. the truth is there are no pure races or ethnic groups all humans are Mongols....completely mixed and ethnic identities, languages, cultures etc..are always changing..... as for the religion of the sarnatians I believe it varied according to geographical influences but as a general rule they were pagan worshipping many gods ,spirits etc..one main god was surya...the sun and a war god like the greek ♈ ares.... which they also symbolised as a sword stuck into the ground....in conan the barbarian stories called krom or krem? Also I think the arthurian legend of uk,also comes from this idea of the knights of the round table and the sword in the stone....as sarmatian warriors were based in uk in their thousands under the roman empire ...as they were good horseman and used the powerful compound bow of the eurasian steppes.. their homeland ?

@BLUE DOG Not denying. You could be very right. Even my own community has arguably some foreign influence. Or at least people very keenly like to believe in it .But in the end we are simply mixed people. Period. How to prove it? Look at the research that can tell you how much of someone's DNA is from where. Do you or me know better than them? Is there only one ancestor who breeds all? If we are mixed, then surely we would have some pretty diverse ancestors. Why favor one over another? Can breeding with the locals be denied, when mostly plunderers/warriors that arrive in a country are mostly men?
My problem is that people are very keen to jump to the conclusions that they feel happy and proud about. Just looking for a chance. Even older people would not be so desperate to make their own community/caste look 'special'. We today are. Talking about being more stupid. Look at the state of our country India. We can do much much better I think.

Jatt and Jaats in North India are the descendants of Scythians.. They came all the way from Middle East Asia.. Now they’re inhabiting all around the world with different surnames.
Once upon a time Denmark was also known as JattLand.
Scythians are born talented at Martial Arts and Farming (Ploughing). They were mostly farmers, but also considered as the most bravest people out there; they also fought many battles with Mughals and other rulers such as Alexander the Great (328-27 BC), Taimur, Nadir Shah, Ahmad Shah Abdali, Mahmood Ghaznavi and Mohammad Gauri.
According to many historians there was a time when there was no one in Asia and Europe who would stand a ground against Scythians Jatts.
Once they also attacked on Greece and won Athens as well. They ruled Iran and Afghanistan for quite a long time, then they moved to Sindh (ruled 137 years) and North West India; they also won Scandinavia in 2000BC. The last ruler from Jatt Clan (Scythians) was Albaaroo of Spain in 10th century.
In this day and age, they are mostly named as Jatt, Jaat, Jot, Jateh, Goat, Goth, Gete, Jetti, Jette, Juti, Jut, Jattu according to the region.

Herodotus wrote that the Scythians ( or Saka ) were a heterogeneous group , having different customs and languages ( Minns 1971 )
The Scythians were an Iranian or proto- Turkic steppe nomadic group that inhabited the southern steppes of Russia during the ancient period. They were gradually replaced by other nomadic groups. The Byzantines, however, commonly referred to all nomads regardless of location as Scythians, even during the medieval period.
Timothy May. “The Training of an Inner Asian Nomad Army in the Pre-Modern Period.” The Journal of Military History, vol. 70, no. 3, 2006, pp. 617-635.
Second Theory is True, because Scythians were genetically %0.00 iranian
Contemporary descendants of western Scythian groups are found among various groups in the Caucasus and Central Asia, while similarities to eastern Scythian are found to be more widespread, but almost exclusively among Turkic language speaking (formerly) nomadic groups, particularly from the Kipchak branch of Turkic languages (Supplementary Note 1).
Unterländer, M., Palstra, F., Lazaridis, I. et al.Ancestry and demography and descendants of Iron Age nomads of the Eurasian Steppe. Nat Commun 8, 14615 (2017).
We observed particularly high similarity between the Tagar and Classic Scythians from the North Pontic region.
In a comparison of our Tagar series with modern populations in Eurasia, we detected similarity between the Tagar group and some modern Turkic-speaking populations (with the exception of the Indo-Iranian Tajik population) (Fig 7; S2 Table). Among the modern Turkic-speaking groups, populations from the western part of the Eurasian steppe belt, such as Bashkirs from the Volga-Ural region and Siberian Tatars from the West Siberian forest-steppe zone, were more similar to the Tagar group than modern Turkic-speaking populations of the Altay-Sayan mountain system (including the Khakassians from the Minusinsk basin) (Fig 7).
Based on our results, we can preliminarily conclude that there was genetic continuity, at least partially, between the Early, the Middle and the Late Tagar populations. We did not find evidence of extensive gene exchange between the Tagar population and any genetically distinct (with respect to the mtDNA pool) human groups.

Arzhan-2, the archaeological site of world significance, a national treasure of peoples of Tuva and Russia, located in the «Valley of Kings» (Piy-Khemsk District, Tyva Republic), was investigated in 2001-2004 by the Central Asian Archaeological Expedition of the State Hermitage Museum headed by K.V. Chugunov. The sites has been dated to the 7th c. BC and attributed to the Scythian-Siberian cultural community. When exploring the «royal» burial of the early Scythian site of Arzhan-2, the scientists faced the questions of the origin of the buried, periodization and chronology of the monument, its archaeological-cultural attribution, the autochthonous nature of the population that left it, and its relationship with other Eurasian early nomadic cultures. The present study is addressing the most important issue of the appearance of the buried people and characteristics of their anthropological type. The material for the study was comprised of male and female skulls from burial 5 of Arzhan-2 mound. The article describes in detail the process of reconstruction of the physical appearance of the deceased and provides examples of calculating ante mortem parameters based on craniometric measurements. The complex stages of preliminary work related to the restoration of skulls and manufacturing of their exact copies are highlighted. The results of the physical appearance reconstruction are presented in the form of visual museum objects - sculptural portraits. The scientific reconstruction of the ante mortem appearance on skulls of the «king» and «queen» was carried out in the Laboratory of Anthropological Reconstruction of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences by anthropologists Drs E.V. Veselovskaya and R.M. Galeev. In anthropological terms, the buried show a peculiar mosaic of Caucasoid and Mongoloid features. They are characterized by brachycephaly and dome-shaped head, with notably developed rugosity of the supercilium in the man and its absence in the woman. For the man, an average width of the face and a narrow forehead of medium height are noted. The woman has broad face and forehead, the height of the forehead is average. Both portraits are characterized by prominent position of eyeballs and large eyes. Man’s nose is short, prominent, with convex dorsum. Woman’s nose has a wavy dorsum, and is slightly prominent. On the male portrait, the cheekbones are moderate, on the female one - high and prominent. Faces of the «royal» persons are flattened in the upper part, with a certain degree of alveolar prognathism. The lower jaw of the man is medium in size, narrow in the corners. For the woman, some gracility of the lower jaw can be noted.

The lower jaw of the man is medium in size, narrow in the corners. For the woman, some gracility of the lower jaw can be noted.

James Tod[25] writes that the tribes here alluded to are the Haihaya or Aswa, the Takshak, and the Jat or Getae; the similitude of whose theogony, names in their early genealogies, and many other points, with the Chinese, Tatar, Mogul, Hindu, and Scythic races, would appear to warrant the assertion of one common origin.
Professor B. S. Dhillon states that the Jats are mainly of Indo-Scythian lineage with composite mixing of Sarmatians, Goths & Jutes in History and study of the Jats.[26] Historian James Tod agreed in considering the Jats to be of Indo-Scythian Stock.[27] Moreover, Sir Alexander Cunningham, Former Director-General of the Archaeological Survey of India, considered the Jats to be the Xanthii (a Scythian tribe) of Scythian stock who he considered very likely called the Zaths (Jats) of early Arab writers.[28] He stated "their name is found in Northern India from the beginning of the Christian era." These people were considered by early Arab writers to have descended from Meds and Zaths.[29][30] Sir Cunningham believed that they "were in full possession of the valley of the Indus towards the end of the seventh century.[31]
Stephen Fuchs suggests that the Jats probably migrated from Central Asia to India as a "predatory nomadic tribe".[32] Natalya Romanovna Guseva considered the Jats to be the descendants of the Sakas.[33]
It has also been suggested that "the Rajputs proper were of mixed origin - pre-Muslim invaders such as Scythians, Bactrians, Parthians, Hunas and Gurjaras who came in before, say, the end of the 7th century."[34]
Sir Alexander Cunningham, (Former Director-General of the Archaeological Survey of India) wrote: The Xanthii (a Scythian tribe) are very probably the Zaths (Jats) of the early Arab writers. As the Zaths were in Sindh to the west of the Indus, this location agrees very well with what we know of the settlement of the Sakas (Scythians) on the Indian frontier.[35]
Sir John Marshall, (Former Director-General of the Archaeological Survey of India) wrote: "These Scythian invaders came principally from the three great tribes of Massagetae (great Jats), Sacaraucae, and Dahae (still exists as a Jat clan of Punjab)[36], whose home at the beginning of the second century B.C. was in the country between the Caspian sea (sea) and the Jaxartes river (Central Asia).[37]
Arthur Edward Barstow wrote: "Greeks of Bactria (partly modern Afghanistan), expelled by the hordes of Scythians, entered India in the second and first centuries BC and are said to have penetrated as far as Orissa (an Indian province in south-east). Meanwhile the Medii, Xanthii, Jatii, Getae and other Scythian races, were gradually working their way from the banks of the Oxus (River valley in Central Asia) into Southern Afghanistan and the pastoral highland about Quetta (a Pakistani city), whence they forced their way by the Bolan Pass, through the Sulaiman Mountains into India, settling in the Punjab about the beginning of the first century AD. It is from these Scythian immigrants that most of the Jat tribes are at any rate partly descended."[38]
    A. H. Bingley wrote: "It is from these Scythian Immigrants that most of the Jat tribes are at any rate partly descended."[39]
Professor Joyce Pettigrew wrote: "Another view holds that the Jats came from Asia Minor and Armenia in the successive invasions during the period 600 B.C. to A.D. 600."[40]
Professor Henry Smith Williams wrote: "The extent of the Scythian invasion has been variously estimated. Some scholars believe that they virtually supplanted the previous population of India (means Punjab), and there seems little doubt that by far the most numerous section of the Punjab population is of Scythian origin."[41]
Professor Pritam Singh Gill wrote: "There is a general concensus of opinion that Jats, and with them Rajputs and Gujjars were foreigners who came from their original home, near the Oxus, Central Asia."[42]
Professor Tadeusz Sulimirski wrote: "The evidence of both the ancient authors and the archaeological remains point to a massive migration of Sacian (Sakas)/Massagetan ("great" Jat) tribes from the Syr Daria Delta (Central Asia) by the middle of the second century B.C. Some of the Syr Darian tribes; they also invaded North India."[43]
Horace Arthur Rose wrote: "Many of the Jat tribes of the Punjab have customs which apparently point to non-Aryan origin. Suffice it to say that both Sir Alexander Cunningham and Colonel Tod agreed in considering the Jats to be of Indo-Scythian Stock. The former identified them with the Zanthi of Strabo (Greek Geographer of the ancient times) and the Jatii of Pliny (Roman writer) and Ptolemy (Another Greek Geographer of the ancient times); and held that they probably entered the Punjab from their home on the Oxus (in Central Asia) very shortly after the Meds or Mands (still exist as one of the Jat clans of the Punjab), who also were Indo-Scythians, and who moved into the Punjab about a century before Christ."[44]
Sir Henry Miers Elliot wrote: "These ignorant tribes (Jats) pointing to the remote Ghazni (Afghanistan) as their original seat, the very spot we know to have been occupied by the Yuechi, or, as Klaproth says, more correctly, Yuti, in the first centuries of our era, after the Sakas (a Scythian tribe) were repelled back from the frontiers of India, and left the country between India and Persia open for their occupation. The Jat tribes not doubt emigrated, no at all once, but at different times, and it is probable that those in the North-West are among the latest importations."[45]
    I. Sara wrote: "Recent excavations in the Ukraine and Crimea. The finds points to the visible links of the Jat and Scythians."[46]
Sir Mountstuart Elphinstone Grant Duff wrote: "My conclusion, therefore, is, that the Jats may be of Scythian descent."[47]
Ujagir Singh Mahil wrote: "Jat were called Scythians; because they were the inhabitants of the ancient country of Scythia. The Jats who invaded the Punjab and conquered India up to Benares were called Indo-Scythians."[48]
James Francis Katherinus Hewitt wrote: "Further evidence both of the early history and origin of the race of Jats, or Getae, is given by the customs and geographical position of another tribe of the same stock, called the Massagetae, or great (massa) Getae."[49]
Sir George Fletcher MacMunn (Sir and Lt. General) wrote: "Alexander came to India in his capacity as the holder of the Persian throne. From his camp near Kabul (Afghanistan), the Macedonian (Alexander) summoned those chiefs whom Skylax (Persian general) had conquered in the old time afore, to come and renew their homage to their ancient Persian overlord in the person of himself. Several obeyed his summons, others did not, and it has been surmised that those who did were later arrivals, of Jat or Scythian origin, outside the normal Aryan fold as later comers to India."[50]
Syed Muhammad Latif wrote: "A considerable portion of the routed army of the Scythians settled in the Punjab, and a race of them, called Nomardy, inhabited the country on the west bank of the Indus (river). They are described as a nomadic tribe, living in wooden houses, after the old Scythian fashion, and settling where they found sufficient pasturage. A portion of these settlers, the descendants of Massagetae, were called Getes, from whom sprung the modern Jats."[51]
Dr. Gopal Singh wrote: "The Jats of the Panjab, are Scythians in origin and came from Central Asia, whose one branch migrated as far south in Europe as Bulgaria. "[52]
    N. Singh wrote: "The Scythians appear to originate from Central Asia. They reached Punjab between 50 B.C. and A.D. 50. It seems probable that the Scythian ancestors of the Jats entered the Sindh Valley (presently in Pakistan Kashmir) between 100 B.C. and A.D. 100."[53]
Satya Shrava wrote: "The Jats are none other than the Massagetae (Great Getae) mentioned in Diodorus as an off-spring of the ancient Saka tribe.... a fact now well-known."[54]
Bakhshish Singh Nijjar wrote: "The Jats are the descendants of Scythians, whose kingdom's capital was Scythia, in the present Ukraine (Ukrainian), Soviet Social Republic, is the constituent Republic of the European USSR (Population 49,757,000) in 1947. Now Ukraine's capital is Kiev, the third leading city in Russia. Before the invasion of the golden herd, 13th century B.C. Scythian, ancient kingdom of indeterminate boundaries, centered in the area north of the Black Sea."[55]
Rima Hooja suggests that the Jats are "probably descendants of the Scythians who entered India in early historical times".[56]

A lot of people like to claim they where Turkic but pure Turks look Asiatic and look exalt the same as their Mongol cousins. There is a Baloch/Iranic tribe known as the Sarmanistani whose name you can tell clearly has Sarmatian (a Scythian people) origin. There is also a clan among the Pashtun/Iranic Ghilzai tribe known as the Sakazai (which means son of Saka) and the name Saka was used by the Persians to describe the Scythian’s that bordered them. In fact the most closest languages today towards The languages that the Scythian’s spoke is Ossetian,Dari/Persian and Pashto and all of these languages are Iranic.
The Scythian’s also had the haplogroup R1a in them so I don’t know why some people like to claim they where Celts or Germanic when those people have the haplogroup R1B. And yes they are Iranic people who can have red or blonde hair in fact there are Pashtuns,Tajiks,Pamiris,Wakhis and Ossetians who have these features and all these people I just mentioned are of Scythian origin. Turkic people only have R1a in them from mixing with Iranic people and Slavs in fact Turkish people are only 20/30% genetically Turkic and are more related with west Asians and south east Europeans than they are with the Turkic people in Central Asia.

@@exucaviera9084 Pinkler's comment makes sense if you consider the implications of what s/he is claiming. The claim is that the haplogroup you mentioned was in existence before the ethnic group Scythians existed therefore other ethnic groups also carry that haplogroup; there are people in Scotland with the U2e2. If your sister lives in New Zealand and has kids then they will carry U2e2. Your genetic heritage doesn't always tally with your ethnic/cultural heritage. Are you descended from Scythians? Possibly, but then other people who look nothing like you and claim non-European heritage may also carry the same haplogroup. BTW, didn't your high school teachers tell you not to rely on information found in 'pedias - try reading some academic books?

Ok I understand love for one’s ancient heritage but to mention knowing that some place is “2 billion years old” is just nonsensical. No one knows that far back plus the earth as a whole was shaped differently. Respect for the people. But nonsense is nonsense. Sometimes it is ok to accept that some things will remain unknown.

BARBATVS 89 ok, if you are creationist, fine. But do not even attempt to make up a crazy conspiracy theory about “establishment”, when the same thing has been shown by people in different countries over many decades. Soviet Union, USA, China, plus almost every other country has to be on this secret. Finally, apart from you not knowing, or dismissing evidence, the argument “it cannot be proven what they say, therefore what I believe can be true, therefore I will believe it” is not even an argument. Whatever religious views, or other beliefs you belong to, it cannot be a requirement that you believe the world is anything like 6000 years old. So, what you choose to believe must be based exactly on what a group of people, like a cult if some kind, are telling you. And they are also trying to argue that if you don’t believe young earth creation then you cannot hold other beliefs. That is what malicious cults do. Your argument from incredulity fallacy doesn't cut it, nor even scratch it. You say I reject evidence, but that's a lie since I reject only irrational interpretations of the evidence like your side that doesn't even take alternative interpretations into account like for the scratches on rock walls interpreted by them to be due to glaciers in a past ice age they imagine occurred, when it supports the Great Flood just as well, with it having pushed huge rocks across said walls. @@papazataklaattiranimam This is perhaps the most credible paper I can tell you is out there - www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5611447/.
I quote the paper- "The study demonstrated that based on their genetic makeup, the Jats belonged to at least nine specific haplogroups, with nine different lines of ancestry and geographic origins. About 90% of the Jats in our sample belonged to only four different lines of ancestry and geographic origins.
Therefore, attributing the origins of this entire ethnic group to loosely defined ancient populations such as, Indo-Aryans or Indo-Scythians represents very broad generalities and cannot be supported.
The study also revealed that even with their different languages, religions, nationalities, customs, cuisines, and physical differences, the Jats shared their haplogroups with several other ethnic groups of the Indian subcontinent, and had the same common ancestors and geographic origins in the distant past."

    • @NS-gr9cy
      @NS-gr9cy 4 года назад

@@papazataklaattiranimam There is some foreign influence for sure among Jats just like many other communities of Northern India and Pakistan. Some of other ones can be Rajputs, Arains, Gujjars, Butt etc. Its very difficult to say whose ancestors could be Indo-Scythian, Indo-Parthian, Indo-Greek, Huns, Kushans etc. Over all, I would say its complicated to give a simplified final verdict. One thing is though for sure, the more you enter from Central Asia (which was the homeland to many of these tribes) towards North-western India, Pakistan the local communities mixed in foreign influence. Its easy to understand. Often when warrior plunderers arrive, they don't arrive with their women. They marry the local women. This could also explain to you the strong patriarchal culture in the farmer communities of North India, Pak. Simultaneously, this also explains the earlier 'denigrated' status of such communities in India/Pak because the older 'Vedic' people did not validated them to be pure enough and said that they have mixed with foreigners.
If you ask me who could be more likely for 'purer' Scythian, Parthian or Greek ancestral lineage, then it could be the tribes of Afghanistan, especially Pashtuns and Tajiks.
This is the best to my knowledge so far. Hope, I could share some information that you might find useful.

    www.ucg.ca/booklets/throne-britain-its-biblical-origin-and-future/appendix-13-nobility-also-jewish
    The Jutes
Collins sees a connection between the Jats and the Jutes of Europe (p. 343), and one may well exist-particularly when we realize that a Norse equivalent for the Scythian names Geat or Goth was Jat (see the Edda genealogy in Appendix 10: "The Family of Odin"). But who were the Jutes? They were a tribe of people who gave their name to Jutland, the mainland peninsula of Denmark.
Furthermore, though we often think of the Angles and Saxons who settled in Britain and became the English, it is more correct to say that Britain was invaded in the fifth through seventh centuries by the Angles, Saxons and Jutes: "Most of the country was conquered by these Teutons, of whom the principle tribes were the Angles, Saxons, and Jutes, who finally fused into one people, under the name of Anglo-Saxons, or Angles or English, while that portion of Britain in which they made their home was called England" (Gene Gurney, Kingdoms of Europe: An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Ruling Monarchs from Ancient Times to the Present , 1982, p. 129).
In fact, the Jutes actually arrived first! "The first of these Teutonic kingdoms was founded in Kent. A despairing British chieftain or king, Vortigern . . . to save his people from their northern foes . . . invited the Teutons to come to his aid. Two well-known Jutish Vikings, Hengist and Horsa, accepted the invitation with their followers, and in the year 449 landed on the island of Thanet, the southeastern extremity of the England . . . Eric, a son of Hengist, was, in 457, formally crowned king of Kent, that is, of England's southeastern coast. He was the first of her Teutonic kings" (p. 129).
Now the critical question: Could the name Jute-and perhaps Jat-be related to Judah? Notice the following from a linguistics textbook: "The German linguist Jakob Grimm (of fairy-tale fame) . . . published a four-volume treatise (1819-1822) that specified the regular sound correspondences among Sanskrit, Greek, Latin, and the Germanic languages. It was not only the similarities that intrigued Grimm and other linguists, but the systematic nature of the differences . . . Grimm pointed out that certain phonological changes that did not take place in Sanskrit, Greek, or Latin must have occurred early in the history of the Germanic languages. Because the changes were so strikingly regular, they became known as ‘Grimm's Law' . . . [one example of which is] d->t . . . voiced stops become voiceless" (Victoria Fromkin and Robert Rodman, An Introduction to Language, Fourth Edition , 1988, p. 315).
Thus, the people who were later known as the Juten or Yuten (as J is pronounced Y in German and Scandinavian languages) would originally have been known as the Juden or Yuden . With the Hebrew plural this would be Judim or Yudim - J'hudim or Y'hudim being the actual Hebrew for Jews. Indeed, Juden is the German word for Jews.
Hengist and Horsa, then, were leaders of Jutes who were likely Jews. As this Jutish population expanded in southern England, it took over more and more land-the Jutes thus becoming nobles. Indeed, their early arrival ensured that they were the longest established noble families of the Anglo-Saxon population. Furthermore, Hengist and Horsa are traced in descent from Woden or Odin, making them royal descendants of Zerah and perhaps even David (see Appendix 10: "The Family of Odin" and 11: "Joseph of Arimathea and the Line of Nathan" ). The same is true of the kings of the Angles and Saxons who soon followed.
In the 800s, Danish Vikings took over the western half of England before the Anglo-Saxons repelled them. And the Danes later ruled England from 1013-1042 before it came back under Saxon sovereignty. In both instances, Danish nobility was mixed with the local Anglo-Saxon nobility. But consider that the Danish rulers were descendants from Odin-and the Danes themselves came from Jutland, thus likely ensuring that many of their nobles were of Jutish (and therefore probably Jewish) descent. This would be parallel with Ireland, where the common people were the tribe of Dan but the nobility were the Milesian Scots, who were Jews. In Denmark, the common people were again the tribe of Dan but the nobility were in all likelihood Jutes who were, yet again, Jews.

Another study by the same team, again of mtDNA from two Scytho-Siberian skeletons found in the Altai Republic, showed that they had been typical males "of mixed Euro-Mongoloid origin". One of the individuals was found to carry the F2a maternal lineage, and the other the D lineage, both of which are characteristic of East Eurasian populations.[114]
Early physical analyses have unanimously concluded that the Saka, even those far to the east (e.g. the Pazyryk region), possessed predominantly "Europid" features, although mixed 'Euro-mongoloid" phenotypes also occur, depending on site and period.[118]

The Sakas were a group of Iranic peoples who spoke a language belonging to the Iranian branch of the Indo-European languages. French historian René Grousset wrote that they formed a particular branch of the "Scytho-Sarmatian family" originating from nomadic Iranian peoples of the northwestern steppe in Eurasia. Like the Scythians of the Pontic Steppe, to whom they were related, the Saka were racially Europoid and ultimately traced their origin to the Andronovo culture. The Pazyryk burials of the Pazyryk culture in the Ukok Plateau in the 4th and 3rd centuries BC are thought to be of Saka chieftains.
They wasn't Turkic and Turkic people weren't Eurasian.

Early physical analyses have unanimously concluded that the Saka, even those far to the east (e.g. the Pazyryk region), possessed predominantly "Europid" features, although mixed 'Euro-mongoloid" phenotypes also occur, depending on site and period.

The Scythians feature in the treatise as an evocative umbrella for Russia’s Turkic neighbours, one of the Asiatic hordes against which the now self-avowedly Western empire struggled to carry out its civilizing mission.

Another study by the same team, again of mtDNA from two Scytho-Siberian skeletons found in the Altai Republic, showed that they had been typical males "of mixed Euro-Mongoloid origin". One of the individuals was found to carry the F2a maternal lineage, and the other the D lineage, both of which are characteristic of East Eurasian populations.

Truth to be told the only tribe whom one can call is "Indo - Scythian". EU population was farshot from the steppes and Central Asia. Indo - Scythian kingdoms are even mentioned in our Puranic Texts including Uttar Kuru. Bharat was once stretched from Central Asia to Sri Lanka and "Bhagadatta" (Iraq) till Pragjyotishpura (Tripura , Assam all 7 sister states and portion of Myanmar/Burma _ my aunt was from Burma).
Sogdiana and Tokharians are famous in our scriptures and their cities which were mostly named after "Fire" hence called "Agnivansha". We have people who are descended from Scythians in India. Gujjars mostly form the Scythian bunch.
Due to the large kingdom definitely there would have been some intermixing but this was ages ago back even before 7000 B.C.E (pre - Mahabharata times in Dwapara Yuga - an epoch in Sanatan Dharma which is the "way of living" most Indians follow). A.I.T (Aryan Invasion Theory) however - Steppe nomads coming from Germany etc. are all not even proven till date and their basis is unfounded. You can read the only basis being a "Indo - European Language" which was a thesis by few scientists whom haven't cited any true archaeological finding of such a language.
I do agree however the world over followed one culture in a million ways and that commonality can be seen from Ainus in Japan and Kamachatka Kral of Russia till Navajo Native Indian tribes of the Americas.

It is written by the Byzantine sources that they call the Turks Scythian.
When presenting the Gokturk Emperor's letter to the Zemarkos Byzantine Emperor, he said:"Today, the nation we call Turk, formerly called SCYTHİAN. This letter was written with the letters SCYTHİAN." (28)

Also can you explain why Slavs,Turks etc dont even use names like Sarmatian, alan,Asses or Saka.
But modern East Iranic people still have ethnic groups that use them...=P
Example- Ossetian self name is from Asses,Jassy and in Hungarira the Jasz people and in Mongolia the Ases who joined the Mongols are still found in Mongolia today with the clan name Asud and Jasin.
In Ossetia the sub-ethnic group of Iron called the Alae(plural form of Alan and Alaegir(Alan-Hero/Men).
In Afghanistan today in the regin of "Sakastan" is a modern day tribe called SAKzai and Sakazai(meaning descendents(Zai/Zoi) a Saka)
Also they have a tribe there still called "Sarmastani"(Sarmatian), and Abdali(hepthali).....But Turks do not.
      Google-
      Sarmastani people(Sarmatian)
      Sakzai people(Saka)
      Abdali people(hepthalite)
      Koochi people(Yuezhi)
      Ossetians(Ases)
Alae/Alaegir(Alan-men from Alae(plural of Alan in east iranic + Vir/Ir meaning men or hero)
While no slav or Turk uses these name/

Massagetae means Great Jats. Massa is maha ( in central Asia, hindi 'h' is pronounced as 's') . Maha means great. Getae is pronounced as Gyaat or Jat.
Massagetae are modern Jats in India.
Jats are only found in North India, Pakistan, Afghanistan etc. There is also Juttland in Denmark in Europe. That proves great Jats or massagetae moved to Europe and South Asia.
Jats have different DNA haplogroups from all other communities of South Asia. They are the most close to central Asian compared to other communities.
