Sam and Dean went through years of pain and suffering but they always came through for each other and those they loved and cared about. That's the true plot of the storyline, love and loyalty
Jensen Ackles is an AMAZING actor. He does dramatic moments as well as comedic timing soooo well. I have seriously NEVER gotten so invested in a show. I have literally ugly cried and laughed my butt off in different episodes. It is honestly THAT good. Knowing what these scenes are about-I tear up even watching this clip. I couldn’t pick just one “biggest impact” moment… there are seriously so many.
For me, the greatest Sam and Dean emotional moment was when Dean decided to give up and take the Ma'lak Box trip to the bottom of the ocean and Sam talked him out of it. It was brilliant acting on both parts, and Sam's "why don't you believe in us" was so heartbreaking. Even as a grown man, he appears to simply be a younger brother clinging to his big brother.
There were also moments like in "Lebanon" where they see John again, or Cas' confession of love at the end, or Sam & Dean's farewell at the end... These scenes are so powerful they kind of just drag everyone's emotion with them.
Lebanon is my go to episode when I know I need to cry. It just hits on all the feels.

The range these guys have in this show is insane! There are so many episodes that take you on this crazy emotional rollercoaster and sell every bit of the pain, comedy, heartbreak and so much love.
6:27 fun fact. the guy who plays dean (jensen ackles) was in a few episodes of smallville hahahaha.
Anyway, omg, it's been a LONG time since I watched Supernatural. The end of the series made me cry buckets and this made me relive all these sad moments because I remember the context of all of it. Wow...this show had so many good moments.

As you were talking about Castiel's voice, there is a fun fact. In an interview Misha Collins, the actor, said his character was supposed to be in the show for couple of episode. So as he read his character the thought his voice isn't heavy enough for this epic angel so he tried to talk in a heavy voice. He said, he thought he will just do it for couple of episode and go home. But he never get to go home. The audience loved Castiel so much that the show makers made him a regular.
Only 2 SPN moments have made me cry. First was Dean's memory in heaven of Sam and the fireworks and second was Dean's death 😭😭
I think they all kind of come at the right moments and are equally as powerful. I don’t have a “ this was more impactful than that scene” opinion because most of these moments come from different seasons which all has different plots and characters that died ( some come back- if not most of these characters at some point then die again) the one thing that is consistent is how much emotion these guys put into their performances. You can count on Jensen to really milk that devastation even if the character has died more than once, it still gets you because he has this amazing way of making you feel like THIS is the last time this character will die or come back.
I do have to say though one of the moments that actually made me tear up was the scene where he’s telling Sam that he’s in so much pain he wished he had no emotion and “couldn’t feel it”. This scene was really hard to get through because Jensen/ Dean is talking about his experience in Hell, torturing and being tortured for more than 100 years in hell time. The full scene just rips me to shreds.
Dean was only tortured for 30 years hell time, and was the torturer for the remaining 10.

When you said "I think we've all been there" in response to Dean telling Sam that he wished he couldn't feel anything, I couldn't help but say, "No, no, we really haven't." Dean was talking about being a torturer in Hell. LOL Jensen owns a brewery, the Family Business Beer Company, in Austin, TX; his brother in law runs it. Castiel's name is pronounced "Cas-tee-el" not "Casteel".
You should react to some Castiel's video, he is just so cool! His character was supposed to be in the show for just three or four episodes on season 3 or 4 (it's been a while, I don't exactly remember when he first appeared, bit I remember the scene, one of the best presentations of a character I've ever seen), but his performance was so good and the chemistry with the Winchester's so amazing ( specially with Dean), that he became a regular/main character till the end of the show.

your reaction to castiel's voice 😂 misha changes his voice for the character. There are moments in the show when he plays other characters and it's the most amazing and mindblowing thing to see how he switches his voice.

Great reaction, I have watched all 15 seasons of Supernatural and still skip some of the saddest episodes. I was wondering if you could react to a starkid (same people who did A Very potter musical) video titled the Nightmare Time Lords in Black existential terrifying for 20 minutes straight. Anyway I loved the video.
These moments need context, reacting to them stand alone is not a good idea.

This was a great video! Would you do one one Cas (Castiel's) saddest moments and maybe Dean and Cas's saddest moments together? I think one of the saddest moments for Dean that wasn't on this video was when Dean wittnessed Cas being killed by lucifer right in front of him when he thought he escaped from Lucifer. Oi... that was heartbreaking.
love your Supernatural reactions. fwiw, and as it's your preference as well, don't do reactions to the ones with a song overlay. most of them are horrible and even if they're not, Supernatural's appeal is in its writing and nuanced acting. songs defeat the purpose.
I know they get requested, but the original clips and scenes are objectively superior. it's a waste to experience those moments in a v chaotically adulterated way.
