Thanks Peter. Ive always learnt more quickly when i watch somebody else do something. Never got on with instruction manuals. RUclips is such a fantastic way to learn how to do so many things. My latest video is an attempt at comedy.
Hi there , Ive found your vids invaluable to maintain my bantam. How many do you have out regarding the bantam ? I have the Haynes manual but i would like a more in depth Workshop manual. Is there one out there ? I have a totally re built Bantam but have a problem of the cable nipple slips off the clutch mechanism when i pull clutch lever fully. Ive tried every position of adjustment but it persists. Any ideas THanks again Elaine
Hi Elaine. The best way i have found relocating the clutch cable to the engine is to lay the bike on its side. Be an idea to drain the tank beforehand. If you shine a lead light in to the where the cable pulls the clutch mechanism you will see a forked lever. If you carefully slot the cable in you can adjust the clutch up (with the bolt on the bell on the side of the engine) and that tention should hold the cable in place. I might make a clutch cable video . I think that ive made 5 or 6 videos. Im glad that you like them. Sorry for late reply.
This is a great series that you've done. They might be simple bikes, but it's nice to have a visual for maintenance.
