I’m not a professional hairstylist,but last night I cut my daughter her hair,and she wanted me to cut hair hair a wolf style cut,very short.and it came out so good! She love it.

This is a Great haircut....I was doing it back in 1979, and we called it The Shake!!

I've always had this style in HS. But I remember it being called a Shag... Such a neat hair cutting tool!!
A shag is more like a long mullet now! I had a shag for awhile, but my mom cut it into a long pixie so I'm gonna grow it out a bit longer and do a short wolf cut hopefully!
I’m in cosmetology school and my teacher said a wolf cut and butterfly cut are still shags just different versions of it

What is the best replacement for the triangle razor?
@@raedoxy6039 I have always used the Feather ® brand razors.
I just have this cut to a friend and I swear on god it’s the cutest easiest “rule free” haircut I’ve ever given and may become my signature haircut. It’s so easy to do with a stylists razor too, I felt like Edward Scissorhands 🥰

Or just brush all your hair into a forward ponytail that lies on your forehead. Then depending on how short you want it cut it straight accross, I usually don't go shorter than at the chin. This way you don't have to pay anyone else to do your hair. Then you can shape it after you let it down.

An easier way to do it is just put all your hair straight and then go from the top your head and slide down diagonally instead of parting your hair it will make it easier

I have a question about the tool you’re using. Is it good for just taking the bulk out? Because the way I take out the bulk is I clip off a section from the crown to the top on the back of the hair and I take one inch vertical sections from under the crown and I take the bulk out with my thinning shears. Will it be good for that kind of technique?
