- My friends and I are building a tiny house for my mom at record speeds! During the first 7 days, we covered foundation, house wrap, framing, siding, windows and doors. The video for that portion can be found here: • Building a Tiny House ...
Thank you TINY WOOD STOVES for providing the wood stove for this build! www.tinywoodstove.com
During days 8, 9 and 10, we added the steel roofing, soffit, caulked and primed the building for paint, graded the front yard, wired for solar power, installed insulation, hung drywall and began the mudding and taping process.

It’s good to have real friends ❤️
At the start of the first video I thought they wouldnt use it for a house. More like a shack. When i learned about the mother I was so glad they were doing it.
I FINALLY GOT NOTICED BY SOMEONE 😊 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😃😃😄😃😘😄😁
I’ve always dreamed of building a tiny house for myself, how i wish I had your great skills . . I love the idea of building something with my own hands . . You’re awesome!
Thank you for the 👍
U are incredible. So inspiring I bet your mum is loving her space. I wish u guys every blessing oxoxox
Can’t wait to see the finished product. So Thankful April (The AWESOME) and her friend was there to help. Your Mom is gonna have a special private place yet close to you! Win - Win.
Great build for mom Ann, Great job to all involved, Thank you for sharing, Stay well. Be Safe..
Good job you guys! I can honestly say this has been the most helpful video I've seen on a step by step tiny house/cabin. Helped me a lot! Hopefully there will be an updated video of the final product here :) Cheers!
So many great things in your videos, but I love how you share your deep friendships with us all!
Anne ur home is my fantasy! So cute your mom is a lucky woman.
This is what I have dreamed of my whole life. Thank you for sharing your experience! I am so excited to do this one day soon ✨
Thats awesome wish I had more friends like April. Loved this tiny house build, wasn't a guide but gave me so many great ideas.
lol, that guy did that insulation better than I've ever seen even the professionals do on youtube. I would recommend Rockwool insulation for any other builds. It's pretty impervious to fire and moisture, breaks up noise and has higher Rvalue, easier to work with. I really love it!
You need to teach that donkey to carry drywall! Great project. Can't wait to see it completed.
Hahaha don't I know it!
Way to go ladies and gentleman. You rock. And all associated.
That looks great, good you were there to help out
If you were making popcorn with April I still would wanna watch it! Imagine a tiny house! Nice project, like both of you! God bless and many years of friendship to come!
Hahahaha that could be arranged! April is one special friend.
Love that grey, it's beautiful , your little house is stunning
Loving this video series. It's great to see April and George helping, and to hear about Adam, Eli and Nick pitching in, as well.
I'm so sorry to hear about Adam's accident. Thoughts and prayers for his full recovery.
It's so good to hear about all the developments in your business. Congratulations on reaching the level where you need to enlist the help of others and grow your team.
Thanks so much for your kind words John! It's certainly been a wild ride this year.
Truly love what you ladies have done and thank you so much for having such great descriptive videos.
I have to fully admit that you have some real building knowledge and skills.
For us , to get access to all your tools and building equipment, isn't possible.
However...motivating.
Fantastic work. Love seeing you ‘Can do’ women!
Thank you so much!
I couldn't remember whether the donkey and the inspector came before the tree falling or wondered when the chicken and the eggs were going to come along. My jaw totally dropped when I saw how close that tree fell towards the house. I just said: oh nooooooo. Whew that was too close. Then I went and looked down at the next blog from Prmus101 and totally lost it laughing for about 15 minutes. UNREAL ... you two (plus a couple of other friends) did such a GREAT JOB looks so nice. God bless.
I would demand a indoor portable pottie. LOL. Nice little house. You've got nice friends. Goid luck to you. Thank you for sharing your video.
What a great gift to your mom and so nice to have great friends to help! Thanks for covering the cost, it's always good to know budget expectations before starting a project. Can't wait to see it completely finished!
I can't wait to have my first sleepover with my mom in the tiny house. She is one special lady, and it makes me so happy I've got the friends I do to help me give her such a cool gift.
Amazing Ann. To see how you setup everything. You're a very handy lady. Beautiful video. 👍👍👍👍👍👋
Hey Anne your work is very impressive and I've shared it with my family and friends. I'd love to live Off Grid and I'm hoping my daughter or son might build me one. 😉 That way I can spend more time with my grandchildren. Haha I'll be 62 in July
You're Blessed to have great friends.
Thanks for sharing! Good friends are what life is made of :)
Thumbs up to George, a true friend helping these ladies by sharing his knowledge and strength.
Well done team.
Girl power. I love my projects. You guys did an awesome job building, videoing, and narrating.
Way, way beyond awesome!!!
And your enthusiasm is infections!
4pm and I'm done for the day so, inspired by this, my wife and I are going back out to lay a concrete floor and plaster some seams in a new wall.
Thanks so much! Good luck with your project!!
You are absolutely amazing. What you have created for your mum is wonderful, all the thought and care you put into it is visible. But what impressed me most was all the hard work you put into it physically in spite of other life events happening around you. The fact that you had the help and support from those special people in your life was a blessing. Well done you wonderful woman. You are so inspirational
Thanks so much for the encouragement Shana!
Okay that's it, I'm inspired, ready to start my project! Thank you so much for sharing this video. Love from Texas!
Best video I’ve seen on building a tiny house!! Thank you guys sooooo much!!!!
Happy Birthday to you and Prayers for your husband. May he have a speedy recovery.

Any one who disliked is a person with no creativity or love for... GIRL POWER!!!!
Happy Birthday Anne! I love watching my two favorite gals on RUclips work together.
Thanks Ben!
I started watching the first video out of curiosity, and here I amwatching the second and cheering for you, I was amazed how you girls, -and dudes- made it, but above all the good spirit and playfullness all the way! if this would have been a bunch of guys, half the video would have to be "bleep" !
I loved what you did, but your attitude, and your willingness to give credit to friends who helped you and to you Mom that taught you so wisely. your video is not about construction, but about isnpiration!
Thanks so much! Glad you got the intended vibe of the video :)
Oh my gosh - you are wearing a Muskoka Bear Wear sweater!
Born and raised in the heart of Muskoka!
MBW is the best! My friend from Ontario buys it for me

Cutting it a little close with those lumberjacking tricks! great build - love watching your videos.
dang - that's what i get for commenting before it's all done. hope Adam heals up quickly.
Thanks Thomas! His doctor thinks he'll be back to normal in about 3-4 months and some intense PT.
Nice work- looking forward to seeing more
YOU GIRLS ROCK!
I am totally impressed. This is fantastic! Thanks!
I love this idea of making a house like this.
Watching you struggling with the stove reminded me of something. Worked construction for some years a while back. One of the first things built after the walls were chalk-snapped was to make sturdy, temporary stairs where needed to access the build. Easy to do and worth the effort to save on strained muscles or worse. Take care!
Great tip! Thanks!
I doooooo! I do feel encouraged and inspired to get out and do creative artsy things... love this video!
Love it nice job. Looks very cozy
Awesome tiny house and really enjoying the video series so far. April is a no-quit, no-way, now-how kind of friend!
So glad to hear it! Yep, she's the best.
I love how you and @wilker_dos are sharing videos of this tiny house build and yet they are so different. You both have such talent and wonderful abilities and it's cool to see the differences yet similarities in each of your presentations.
Thanks so much Lari! It is interesting to me how we can make such different videos from the same footage!
Right? You both have distinct styles and both are awesome!! ;)
That’s looking great Anne. You are incredibly talented and seem to do a great job on any and all of the projects that you tackle. Great work and great content.
Thanks so much Scott!
Very awesome. I am designing a group of tiny houses to build on my 6 acres in the Arizona desert. I am studying Pompeian architecture for it. Small individual rooms/buildings surrounding a central courtyard. Prayers for your husband's quick recovery.
Tiny house is coming along nicely Anne! 👍👊 .... thanks for sharing all of the fun! 😃
Thanks so much Fred!
Just recently found your channel...I love it and I can imagine how good it feels fo you to diy most everything and continuing to learn!! I am definitely a self sufficient type person too!! Thanks Clay!
Great job on the tiny house.
Will you give us a video tour of what the finished inside looks like? I'd LOVE To see it set up. Like to see everyone's setup and see what I love in each for ideas. Haha. And it just feels satisfying to see it complete even though you did all the work! =P
The two of you make a great team! I would like to see the both of you do more projects together. The fun you both seem to have working together, makes it seem like your not really working. Great job!
Thanks Joseph! We sure do have a lot of fun!
WOW!!!! You guys ROCK the tiny house!!! " :-)
I'm your neighbor over on Whidbey Island! So impressed!
Love this build💕
You should have a wee look at essential craftsmanship framing basics video. Where he builds a shed. Most notably for you guys, pay attention to the California corner. Keep up the joy of learning new things guys!
My Patreon page is now live! www.patreon.com/anneofalltrades Stay tuned at the end of the video for the blooper reel. What next steps for this project are you most interested in seeing?
George!!!! You girls rock!!
The build is coming along nicely. Love the fact that you repurposed the doors and windows A+! You sparked my curiosity with that little wood stove. I've been looking for something for my 1600 SQFT shop to take the edge off in December. It doesn't really get to cold here in Arizona but the mornings can be quite chilly. Looking forward to more updates! Great job.
check out Tiny Wood Stoves. They are fantastic little gizmos
Wow, you all are amazing. Great group effort!
Thanks so much!
Awesome craftsmanship 😍
you made that look RIDICULOUSLY easy.
Fabulous, so exciting to watch this develop. Sad to see the tree go, but it's understandable.
I really enjoyed watching you build
You guys are awesome! I hope Adam is doing well and is making a full recovery.
Thanks so much John! He's doing great. PT is going well, and he'll be back to his old self by Christmas we are hoping :)

Восхищаюсь Вашим упорством и владением технологиями.
И ещё. Тоже хочу ослика!))
I love this so much!!
Awesome job ladies
You two are awesome!!
Awesome friends make for an awesome time! Great progress on the house, your mom is going to love it! Sorry to hear about your husband's accident. I hope his recovery is quick and full. It's always tough wanting to help out and not being able to. I'm glad to see that the animals leave no job uninspected. lol
Thanks Bob! Adam is doing much better now and the animals have been sure to lend lots of paws and hooves of help in his absence :)
Love ❤️ your tiny home 🏡
Wow! I saw the first part of the build and it was so inspiring! My husband and I are planning on getting some land and building a couple tiny houses and this video totally gave me some confidence! Happy to sub and see more of your diys 🙂❤️
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed. Best of luck on your projects!
Nice job lady's keep building
It looks like the topsoil in your area is fairly easy to work with but one tip. When using your tractor to scrape anything on the ground try to keep the bucket as flat as possible. When the bucket is at an angle like you had it can catch and then either break the cylinders or the arms resulting in costly repairs and downtime. Hope you see this and keep up the good work.
Thanks Tony!
Great job girls!
You girls are awesome!
