Sheila & Pete Escovedo LIVE w/ the Twinz Purple Philanthropy Show

Sheila E. led an amazing cast of musicians in the Purple Philanthropy tribute art show & concert honoring the legacy and philanthropic legacy of Prince. The show at Orchestra Hall Minneapolis was incredible. Clearly, Sheila E. is Prince's musical soulmate and delivered a powerful set of Prince's hits including "Sign O' the Times," "Play in the Sunshine," "When Doves Cry," "17 Days" and more. There were many special guest including Official Mayte Garcia Mayte Garcia (Prince's first wife), The Twinz Maya and Nandy McClean who use to dance with Prince and Prince's siblings Tyka Nelson and Omarr Baker. Sheila E. was also joined on stage by her amazing band including Lynn Mabry (Brides of Funkenstein/20 Feet from Stardom), Eddie Mininfield longtime sax support, Ashling Cole (Larry Graham's band) and Elisa Dease (Prince's NPG). Prince was honored. The message is love. The music lives on.
