I have the Rock and the Tisas from Palmetto. I paid 279.00 for the Tisas on one of Palmettos' daily deals. Having shot the FN, the S&W, and Ruger pistols owned by friends, I think, for the money, the Tisas is the best deal on the market.
I own the Smith & Wesson 5.7 and broke the firing pin after 400 rounds. It took me 3 months to get a replacement from S&W and only after I emailed everyone in the company and threatened to launch a social media campaign against them. The new pin is machined differently and does perform ok. Try as I might I can't get the M&P to shoot as good as it should. Paul Harrel found the groups to be mediocre at best and that is what I am experiencing. I'm a big fan of the 5.7 round and have a CMMG 5.7 banshee that ridiculously accurate. So the M&P was a letdown especially since that was my first Smith. i own a Tisas PX-9 which is mind blowingly good so I am eyeing their PX-57. Turkish gunsmiths are really pushing the bar high.
I have the Smith & Wesson 5.7 and the FN 5.7. Neither pistol required a break-in period. They shot flawlessly out of the box. I shoot the S&W with a red dot and the FN with iron sights. The FN is easier to break down and clean. The S&W is more accurate probably because of the Red dot. The Tissas is on my want list. I would go with the optic ready version.
Tisas does indeed make an Optics Ready version of their PX-5.7... RMSc cut, and I have heard that it comes with an RMR adapter plate, but have contacted Tisas USA to confirm... no answer yet. I'm seeing this OR model on sale at various online vendors for right around $300, plus or minus, as of 11/30/24. 12/9/24 Update: The Tisas PX-5.7 does NOT come with an RMR adapter plate. It is, however, a perfect fit for a Holsun 507K red dot... no discernible gap below the mounted red dot, nor between the slide cutout and front or back of the red dot.
If the Tisas has a trigger anywhere near as good as their PX9 Gen 3 pistols it is winner for me. My local shop has optics ready PX5.7 for 406 which makes it a phenomenal deal. I own the PX9 Gen 3 Duty and have found that the quality of craftsmanship punches way above its pricetag. 1k rounds of 124gr ball in my first session out and had one ammo related (Armscor) failure to feed due to an out of round case. It is every bit as accurate as you are and a very smooth and comfortable shooter. I find that next to Canik, Tisas is one of the best values on the market today when it comes to quality, features, and included accessories for the price. I have shot the Ruger and while it is from a reputable company and one that I have enjoyed other offerings from in the past the trigger was not to my liking at all. I have yet to shoot the M&P model but if it has the 2.0 quality trigger it would be a better option over the Ruger and comes in at mid 500 mark at my local shop for the base pistol or mid 600 for the pro pack that includes the performance center treatment and 4 mags. The PSA 57 is by far the cheapest of the bunch but I cannot handle it before purchasing as none of the shops in my area will stock PSA firearms. Tisas and MAC have been the two companies I am most interested in and have been purchasing recently and have yet to be disappointed with anything I have bought so I'll stick with them for the time being.
@@killacoiler1707 dope! I mess with Tisas! Love that 5.7 optic ready. This is the Mac 1014 wood are the lastest purchase this month. Both very very nice!!
Thickness doesn’t effect how heavy a gun feels. That’s weight. This American made infatuation is wild and weird. I wouldn’t care if it was made in Cambodia as long as it works. Lol
I paid $320 for the optic ready version of the Tisas on Palmetto State's website when it was on sale a week or two ago. haha Love it so far.
I didn't know there was one now that changes the dynamics
@@gundeity1That’s why I’m watching your video lol, they have them on sale for $300
Just grab the OR yesterday for the same price. Can’t beat it!!
@stopplayin7022 that's awesome now I want one
Glad I did the same thing. 320 for the optic ready one from PSA. Now it’s 460. Might go back on sale for Black Friday.

Forgot the Palmetto State ARmory Rock 5.7 which is a budget option as well. Plus the tisas has an optic ready model one as well.
The PSA Rock 5.7 is another great gun priced on the low end.

No kidding. Idk what's going on with Smith quality control.
If on a budget, don't buy a tool that uses that caliber.
I have the SW . Love it. No issues at all.
The Tempo barrel system on the M&P is a very clever design that I'd like to see them develop and maybe try on some other calibers.

That counter looks mighty familiar 🤔
Any luck on holsters for the px 57? I can’t find any
psa rock?

Honestly, my wallet says to go for the Tisas. The money you save could get the ammunition.
My impulsive nature wants the Smith😂
Agreed
Do you "need" any of them?
@@robertkeller9828 Do we really "Need" anything more than a handgun for home defense, and maybe a long gun if you hunt?
Tisas 5.7 299 right now on Psa
There is a optic ready of the Tessa for not much more at palmetto
Why wasn't the RIA featured on this video?
Rock Island Armory makes a 5.7 pistol?
@vikramgupta2326 My mistake. It's the PSA Rock I was actually referring to. Sorry for the confusion.
@jeredalmeida1880 No problem! Thanks.
PSA ????
does F/N not make them anymore???
Yes, they do. At roughly twice times the selling price compared to the S&W & Ruger, and three times the selling price of the Tisas.
I have the same ruger 57 you have. That is optics ready just to let you know
Ruger 57
Ruger
FN 5.7 m2 hands down.
Are you slow?
