Hey, when you're finished with this video, I recommend reading the description for those handy dandy Compass remixes to follow it up with. I wouldn't want to steal their thunder, so I forwent including any of that stuff here.
Woah man, that was exhausting. When I made the Canto IV Stage and Dungeon medleys, I told myself that if I did that sorta thing again in the future, I wouldn't dip into the story BGM too, and just stick with the battle tracks. Because then things would get real, real complicated, real fast. So, of course, Studio EIM decides that most all of the Canto V soundtrack fits together very well, and I'm suddenly doing exactly what I told myself not to. Thank goodness it all works fairly well in chronological order. I didn't need to do any shuffling around like I was worried I might. Not sure why I also decided to subject myself to mixing in sound effects and ambiance but hey, I guess that happened too. So I am morally obligated to myself to declare I might not necessarily make another video on this exact scale again in the future for Canto VI and onward. But I might also do exactly that, if I think it sounds good.
Also Wuthering Heights is a much quicker read than Moby Dick, so hopefully I'll actually be playing Canto VI at launch. And the Intervallo III-2 medley exists. I'm just waiting until I'm happy with how it sounds to post it.
negative sail feels like the PEAK limbus company soundtrack ever. it's so soothing yet so mysterious, just like the Great Lake is. absolutely wonderful piece that nobody seems to talk about. aside from compass, this is my favorite limbus ost by far ofc i have yet to reach canto 6, maybe it could have something too
Ah, that's Ishmael huddled in the fetal position after falling into a whale. It's story CG. RUclips compression has clearly done the artwork no favors.

It's sad that they didn't make a second theme for the fight with the porous hand like the others. That stuff is fire still going hot underwater.
