My EV experience as someone who loves ICE cars and motorcycles. I used to think Tesla only had the novelty of fast 0-60. Last year I installed solar panel on my roof and later came across a used model Y for $15K. I figured why not. I only pay for liability insurance ($300 for 6 months) since I have another car and a motorcycle. 20,000 miles later and it has cost $600 in insurance, $112 in solar charging, and by far has been the best commuting car I have ever driven. I've chosen to treat it like the car it is, a under insured, 100,000 mile, paint swirled Model Y. It's receive a few door dings and I take it to an auto car wash, but I'm left unbothered. ICE vehicles will stick around as fun weekend cars but any ICE owner who hates on Tesla has never driven one further than a test drive or is just another sheep of the internet. @@TurdFergusenI sold my hellcat a few months ago for a model 3 performance. best decision i’ve ever made. saving over $1k a month between insurance, car payment and fuel/energy, and still get the same performance, if not better
For people with young kids, the fact that if your child falls asleep on a drive you can pull into your garage, close the garage door and turn on climate control and let them sleep without murdering them is one of the greatest things about EVs and specifically a Tesla.
I do that all the time with my wife's KIA. I wish we could get a second Tesla but unfortunately, we have three kids and the Model Y is just not big enough for our needs and the Model X is just out of our budget and still too small. Wish Tesla could start making a decent size SUV like Rivian or the new KIA EV9, or maybe a minivan? For now, I have my Model 3 Performance and my wife has a KIA Telluride (that we just got, previously we had a KIA Carnival).
Having done several long road trips now, I don't think I'd want to drive long distances in anything but a Tesla now. While the Supercharger stops seem inconvenient, it's a great way to get out of the car for a little bit for 10-25 minutes every 2-3 hours. And then letting Autopilot/FSD do the boring mundane driving on the Interstate makes it really relaxing compared to if you had to manually drive the car for hundreds of miles/kilometers. While it's far from perfect, I do like having the ability to choose when to drive it, and when I just want the car to do most of it for me. No other automaker makes it as seamless and convenient as Tesla does. And while some other EVs do some things better, like charging speed or range, when you look at everything a car offers, Teslas give you a lot of bang for your buck.
@@ZipZoomZip I have had my Model 3 LR for 5.5 years now, but kept the BMW 330i convertible it replaced... because it is a convertible, and is great for a day trip on a nice warm sunny day! But the Tesla offers indeed a better... and much cheeper experience on long road trips!
@@ethanjabs6890Are you in an area where Tesla offers insurance? Check their website. I will guess they don't yet or your insurers would have to be competitive. When Tesla does come in they will massively drop their rates so make sure to keep an eye out so you can renegotiate when the time comes.

We picked up our Model Y this September and to say that I’m obsessed with this car is an absolute understatement! My daughter is like mom please enough talk of the robot already 😂We still have a gas car but I always want to drive the Tesla as it’s such a pleasure! I am a really good driver and I can park well even parallel park BUT auto park and FSD does a better job then I’ll ever do! No matter what other cars we get in the future there will ALWAYS be a Tesla beside it in our driveway, that’s how much I love this car!
My wife and I have been ruined since we each got Tesla Model 3s over 6 years ago. Now, four Tesla upgrades later, even a new BMW drives like an ancient, disconnected experience. I don't feel like I'm in direct control of ICE cars, even high-end sport-touring sedans. No fun.
@@X11CHASE You can call a Tesla a "performance machine" if you want, it certainly wouldn't be wrong. But I didn't say that, I was speaking to how disconnected even a brand new BMW feels relative to cars like the Model 3, the Model Y, and the Cybertruck. The ICE engine and transmission lags and feels disconnected, impotent and ancient. When you finally drive a Cybertruck for the first time your mind will be blown by the sense of power and control you have, especially at slower speeds, parking, maneuvering and in traffic. But that's not to say it doesn't also feel insanely connected when tearing up a dirt road, sandy dunes, or a twisty mountain pass highway. It an experience like no other.
We did the same. My wife has had her Model 3 RWD for two years. I just got a Model Y Performance. I think it took having hers a couple of years before I was fully comfortable with the idea and once I got there the deals recently pushed me over the edge.
Agree! I came from owning a Chevy volt plug in hybrid for 10 years and jumped to tesla... The remote app was only good if you paid for onstar or had a free subscription... My updates... I had to go to the dealer.... I so don't miss that and no ACC... Autopilot fsd and summon is ridiculous... and the fact that I can have an apple shortcut on my phone which is connected to my apple watch, my hands are full and I just say "Hey siri, open tesla trunk" and it opens... These cars are ridiculous lol
100% agree with everything you said in the video. Each little feature starts adding up to a car that is not comparable to any other car I have every owned.
I completely agree w you on the number of physical interior buttons. I love the minimalist feel. When I’m in a gas car - I’m in a rental for work all of the time - my first thought is that “there are too many damn buttons in here.”
A year ago, my wife and I bought our first Model 3. Our plan was to share it; she drove it during the week and I would get it on the weekends. During the week, I drove our other car, a Prius, to and from work, about 20 miles round trip. I HATED going back and forth, Tesla, Prius, Tesla, Prius... Long story short, a week ago, I traded the Prius for my new 2024 LR Model 3! With all the incentives available, it was a no brainer!
@@qitstrn Wishing you the best on your next Tesla purchase! Also, check the inventory page daily! I scored a sweet deal on a demo car with a few cosmetic imperfections which Tesla was very transparent with me before delivery and is fixing under warranty.
Idk why but your giddiness to seeing a CT and then quickly comment, “we do not see cybertrucks often in my town” made me like you more 😂 I’m from Austin and now they are EVERYWHERE! All the colors! Subscribed!
Had my model y for less than a month. Drove my girls Honda SUV and I forgot to turn the car off and take the keys and other times I forget to lock it. Also drove a brand new Camry hybrid as a rental and it felt like it was already 10 years old and dated.
I just test drove a tesla model 3 today and man… I was planning on waiting probably June (my birthday) to buy one but this demo drive has made me wanna get on literally next month. Felt so depressed getting into my car after the demo 😭
@ Indeed. I could have bought it at the parking lot right there and then probably 😂. But I think Im just gonna thug it out and wait cause realistically my car is fine and I dont really need a new car right now so just gotta wait another 7 months
You're not alone feeling like that, i have a Tesla M3 for 1 year now . Simply put it i would not buy another car (ev or ice) besides a Tesla. Its just that good of an experience.
I was nervous to not have CarPlay anymore, but to be completely honest I haven't missed it a bunch since I took delivery. It would be nice to have a better phone and messages app that integrates more with my iPhone. But I'm not tripping! In gas cars, it was a non-negotiable--every other OEM's infotainment setup is garbage w/o CarPlay.
I total agree with you about range issues people cry about. your explanation starting @ timestamp 10:50 is 100% correct! Thank you for saying that how you did.
Thanks for the Tesstuff, JJ! Wish the instructions included Model Y rear installation. Agree, Normal FSD is soooo close to my preferred driving. I'm using it for even near routes. Your info is great.
Owned model 3 for over a year now. Buying second tesla. Son-in-law: "Aren't you considering the long range?" Me: I don't care even a little about range. It's not even on my list of requirements. Range means nothing, because the lowest range they have is plenty for everything I do, so I don't even think about it. Will a LR make me only stop 3 times instead of 4 times from the Bay to Vegas? Maybe, maybe not. If it does (which I doubt), that's a 10 min savings. Don't care. I am completely convinced range is a number only first time owners care about now.
2:10 - I share stuff from the Uber app directly to the car, probably 20 or 30 times per week. Super convenient and much better than having to talk to the Car when you have a ride chair passenger on board.
I literally got the highland a week ago after watching your videos for 6 months 😂. The only thing I find inconvenient is constantly going through the screen to switch between ventilated and heated seats as well as heated steering; sometimes the screen just swipes down by itself when changing them. Going to try to find some of your older videos to see what settings you have in the car and try to switch to them.
Driving a 24 M3P is like driving in the future, driving a rocket ship on 4-wheels. When I have to drive an ICE car, it feels as if I am driving a 10-tons prehistoric dinosaur!
My 2022 Chevy Silverado has a phone app ….I can lock, remote start, it gives me all information such as air pressure, oil, it’s starts and automatically turns on heated and cooled seats. Drives in its own lane, 360 cameras, collision control, leather seats, 11 inch HD screen, Apple CarPlay, Bose Sound, $35k less than a Cybertruck, Tesla is not special
It makes sense to always reverse park when possible. This I learned to my expense is not true in South Africa. Because of the very easy quick get-away you become the ideal target for a hi-jacking.
Gaaoline costs 5 times as much? Right now, a Prius will nearly match cost per mile (gas vs home charging Tesla) due to low gas prices. The pricing shifts in favor of the Prius when the Tesla uses public charging. Gas would have to return to $4+ for the Prius to finally come out behind public EV charging pricing (certainly possible). I went Tesla for the large battery and heat pump that (if needed) allow living from the car easier, but hybrid gasoline isn't that far behind. Standard ICE costs are on par with public EV charging.
@@marcol869 Takes quite a bit of up-front cost investment as well as time to break-even, but eventually, yeah. Less viable though as you have to own housing (rather than rent) to go that route.
Must really depend on where you live, in Portugal the gas prices are all but low, the price difference actually is about a 1/5 in favor of electric home charging, gas here costs about 1,6€ / liter or higher, and it used to be near 2€ little more than a year ago. Public EV charging (excluding superchargers) though nearly matches the cost of Diesel depending on the place you charge.
If you have home charging and good rates, absolutely! I have solar panels and also a time-of-use (TOU) rate, so home charging is definitely worth it. Sure some Superchargers can be pricey, but those are meant primarily for road trips, not the main way of charging your car.
I've owned my model 3 for about 6 month now and i can't imagine buying a car from another brand. There are so many little things that are just so convenient that i can't find from other brands. Also the fact that if you want most of the features that a model 3 offers you as standard you will have to pay A LOT extra from other brands.
We’re ruined too lol we had to drive a rental for about a month and it was laughable how old it felt. We fight over driving the Tesla but we volunteer each other, to drive gas cars. lol
@AndrewElliott-g5p welcome to YT - It is not that narrow of a view, owning an EV just changes your perspective to the whole driving experience. You do not need a tesla to get that feeling, the Lyriq works too.
My family and I are relocating back to the states in December, do you think we should buy the model Y now or wait for the refresh? Been contemplating this for a while now.
@@TeemoTemosson I am old enough to remember the "unsafe at any speed video," A rear end collision with a chevy corvair and it would explode, killing the occupants. The company decided it was cheaper to pay insurance than fix the problem. See Ralph Nader.
Bought my 23’ MYP and within 24 hours I immediately knew I couldn’t go back to ICE unless it’s for a dream car. I immediately felt that traffic moves too slow while you’re able to pass without a breeze like they are just snails for responsiveness. I do with it had climate control buttons but that’s all. Everything else is voice command
Ruined us too. We started with a Model 3 and eventually bought my wife a Model Y. We're Tesla all the way. the F-150 sits in the driveway looking sad. I've done two business trips in the last few weeks and had to drive a Nissan Altima (piece of junk) and a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee...which is also an awful car. I actually parked it in the garage at the Marriott in Atlanta and left it running because it didn't occur to me that I needed to push a button to turn it off. I took the key fob with me but the car isn't smart enough to know I'm no longer in the car and just kept on idling...for hours!
Definitely dispose of that "spicy pillow" GoPro battery. Lowes, Home Despot, and other stores have bins where you can get rid of rechargeable batteries and they'll get handled properly. I wouldn't keep using that battery.
yea, I have a E-Golf 2018 with all the gear and it's not great. I mean, I love the car and gotten used to it's limits etc, but I am currently saving up for a Tesla and i'm 2/3 done and I AM EXTATIC for my Model 3 Long Range AWD
elon has already said he doesnt care about the tax credit being removed since they make profit on the cars while everyone else who makes ev's is at a loss. unfortunately there might not be competition if that happens
@@s13n7ki11l3r there will still be competition, just mostly from China and BYD, they'll take the tariff hit to get into the US market and it'll even out prices so Tesla doesn't get hammered (and the rest don't get killed by $15k EVs)
JJ, yes, I'm completely spoiled by my Teslas too, first by my 2023 M3P, then completely and totally by my 2024 S Plaid. EVERY ICE car, even high end ones with great interiors, seem a bit old fashioned and a touch crude by comparison, ESPECIALLY the drivetrains. I've fallen hard for the Tesla's complete lack of clutter and gizmos. Being older and not as flexible, I like autopark, which, for me, is faster. "Smart" summons, well not so much love there so far. I see we frequent the same Blue Ash dealer too. I very much like your straight forward takes. "Keep going.".
I drove a tesla first in 2015 for a test drive... since the moment we took off I knew there was no reason to have my twin turbo modified car any longer.
Cars need stalks for selecting transmission modes and turn signals! Why change something everyone has developed muscle memory for years! Just to be different?
I also got a model 3, but LR AWD and it feels like one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Especially at 0% interest. Link in RUclips bio for any of the homies needing a referral link!
Yeah... I live in a big city in an apartment so no need to own a car but watching your and other videos buying a non tesla if you live in a house and need to do any driving is just dumb.
I've been saying the same thing about FSD!!! Let me buy it once, and it's mine and connected to my account(not car) and whenever I drive any Tesla I have use of it. When I sell my car and buy a new one, none of this "special opportunity" one time transfer BS. I'd be a customer for life! (as would A LOT of people)
My summon keeps not working due to rain, not really sure what to do about that. If I wipe off the cameras, then I am already next to the car, which defeats the purpose. On a side note, my wife and I want there to be a Tesla van/SUV. The current Tesla options for 6-7 seats are a lot more cramped than a van. We have 3 kids and would also like to be able to put a lot of stuff in the trunk when we are taking a road trip. My Tesla of course has 3 back seats, but that puts the kids side by side and for a long trip that is not fun.
New Model 3 owner - 6 weeks. This is the car I would invent, if I were inventing new cars! The latest FSD has some very good improvements, but now seems to fail to signal when taking a left off ramp from an HOV lane -- which it did before. And many of the alerts and info messages I used to get seem absent now. Why did you just change lanes?? I'd like to know. Plus, I canceled a lane change and Tabbitha (my wife named her) turned *off* the turn signal but *continued to change lanes* even though we hadn't hit the lane stripe! On the plus side -- before, it wouldn't event make a lane change into or out of an HOV lane, and now it will... when commanded (hit a turn signal). And moving to an on ramp now takes a comfortable flow line following the inside lane line, rather than going to the halfway point and making a hard turn. One small feature I'd love, is a small "tick" with a pitch differential whenever it decides to change lanes... slightly higher initial pitch if going right, slightly lower pitch if going left. Why do I have to look at the display to see this? And if I want to cancel the lane change, hitting the wrong signal button just confuses everyone. Hearing the difference would make one more time I don't have to take my eyes off the road if something is happening that needs my attention. For now my default action is to take control.
the flammable liquid one is a reach... technically speaking, you're literally driving on a series of spicy pillows that won't stop burining until the chemical reaction is done
However, with this last update, you cannot change your following distance anymore. That was a serious omission and I expect it to be remedied in the near future.
Girlfriend got a 2025 Model 3 LR AWD last week and she doesn't have SUMMON. So weird. It's nowhere on her car or app. Not even mentioned in the electronic manual. (USA, Colorado in case that matters)
New FSD is a little crazy. Just now it was about to run a red light…it was slowing down the whole time but then slammed on the breaks right when it was at the crosswalk. Another incident with the update, the chime went off for a green light but it definitely was still red. Hurry is good but on these 45 and 50 roads (which hurry doesn’t work on) the car is still driving slow af or right at speed.
The only annoying thing for me is being in the UK the wheel is on the right. So I have to use my left hand (non dominant) to control the screen. Wish we had left hand drive so I could use the screen better.
Ik its a lot more convenient but gas cost arent that much higher if u have a hybrid . I have a corolla hybrid and a model y and the cost for both of them r around the same per month
I think I'm an outlier in that I had some serious regrets after buying my Model Y, but I know now that there is a bit of a learnign curve and I'm now very happy with my decision. I just didn't love it at first, but everything said in this video is true. I can't imagine going back to standing at gas pumps 5 or 6 times a month, and winter is coming.
...and plugging it into the solar each day when the sun is shining is brilliant. I installed new air conditioner and set at 2 kW's and set the tesla charge at 2 kW;s and let the sun run them all day and the house as well.
they should lower the price of fsd base on how many months you've paid for the service. at some point they will find out how much people are willing to drop for the fsd. for me 2500 would be a no brainer and 4k would be something that I would consider if it will help resale/ swap it to a newer car.
I own a Tesla S Plaid and it is the ultimate daily commuter imo, but as a car enthusiast, I still need my performance gas ICE car/toy for the weekends.
Because of all the restriktions still here in Denmark, Tesla actually recommends you dont buy any kind of upgraded selfdriving. so its funny to always hear it mentioned from American tesla tubers :D
Yeah I hate driving "normal" cars too after owning my Tesla over a year. But FSD has been horrible for me. My trial has yet to take me point A to B sucessfully. Usually its annoyances but ive had 4 or 5 major interventions. It tried blowing a red light twice, speeding in a school zone, driving in between lanes twice, stopping in an intersection at a yellow light and one time the steering wheel starting going side to side a few times while making a turn that it overshot. Last trial I had a few months ago performed better but was still far too annoying for me to handle.
The concern for me, the Tesla store is in New Jersey, and I live in Pennsylvania. If I ever have damage or a problem with my Tesla, it is a trip to get to Paramus! Not sure it is worth it for me??
I have a question I see in your videos when self driving you are what looks like mostly hands free How are you doing this I take my hand away for even a bit of time the car will instantly nag me to put my hands back even if it’s just the lightest touch the car wants my hands on the wheel applying light force Any info or tips or a video would be awesome and thanks
Love my MSP, my favorite car I've ever owned. For the people like us who can have a charger installed in there house its a win, if you cannot it's a pain in the neck. If I had to go to a supercharger once or twice a week it would be a much different experience. Love the FSD, however very disappointed the ones of us with 150k MSP with HW3 are kind of being left in the dust now. If there isn't a clear upgrade path provided sooner then later I'll never buy another Tesla again out of principle. The millions of vehicles with HW3 should not be second class Tesla citizens considering where the ones who got this FSD model to where it is and were promised it would be sufficient. And keep in mind HW3 really only shipped for most vehicles late 2023 and early 2024 so it's not like you say HW3 vehicles are old. This is really my biggest and only gripe with my MSP
He’s not wrong; I’ve had a Rivian for 2 1/2 years now and there’s no going back. The self driving in the Tesla is the only thing that makes me question my choice…until I look at the cybertruck then I love my decision again.
I really love the Model Y. However first major issue is phantom braking and cruise just disengaging, its unsafe and nerve racking. Also the seat belt chokes you when you drive, and the youtube music app sucks compared to the regular carplay version. Searching for many artists show no results. Other than that its great.
IT RUINED ME TOO BECAUSE I CANNOT BEAR THE THOUGHT OF DRIVING ANY OTHER CAR FROM NOW ON GOING FORWARD ... TESLA IS SO EXCELLENT THAT ALL THE OTHERS FEEL LIKE "TRASH CANS" NOTHING ELSE COMES CLOSE !
@@jefa3524 If you go down to “software” in the settings menu and scroll down a bit, it will show a small prompt where it will quickly check if there is a newer version available for you. I did a software check one time, and it said I didn't have one available, and then about 4 or 5 hours later it suddenly popped up that I had an update on my Tesla app.
Great video. Nice to see someone so happy with their car. Naturally, It's a Tesla sp of course you'd be happy. Unfortunately, my Tesla MY RWD was written off by a driver who fell asleep at the wheel of his huge raised 4X4 early one Sunday morning after he'd come off a 12 hour shift. Anyway, I haven't replaced it yet and have been without a Tesla for just over a year. I'm hanging out for the new Shanghai manufactured MY RWD - the Juniper version which should be out early 2025. I hope so anyway. I'm Australia based so we're being flooded by other Chinese made EVs which are amazing, but I'm still wanting a Tesla even though the Xpeng G6 is a magnificent MY competitor. Zeekr is here too and they offer something that is also appealing. I have a BYD Atto 3 EV which I've had for over two years and it's an excellent drive. I'm so happy with it but at the end of the day, good as it is, It's not a Tesla. Great to listen/watch you. Keep happy!

For people with young kids, the fact that if your child falls asleep on a drive you can pull into your garage, close the garage door and turn on climate control and let them sleep without murdering them is one of the greatest things about EVs and specifically a Tesla.
Lol I also take garage naps in my Tesla now
@@NutritionPolice ..same, to get away from the kids!!!
U can do that with a normal car, turn the key halfway so that it runs only on battery, u dont need to keep the engine running
Yes you do when in colder climates!

After having a Tesla, I had a rental car and kept walking away from it with the engine on 😂🤣
That's a funny name
Did that too
Happens every time I drive my wife’s car 😂
Same here!
Yes, nice to have the car drive me home after a busy travel week!
Completely agree with everything said
Even when we still had a gas car, we never picked it for road trips, the Tesla just made for a better experience.
Just bought a 2023 Model Y, picked it up yesterday, already in love
test drove one a few weeks ago and decided it would be my next vehicle! Enjoy
your wallet is crying though. Although Tesla is somehow slightly cheaper than the average car.
how is your insurance rates. I’m getting quoted crazy prices for a 22 Y
Everyones wallet is crying during these times. YOLO
@@ethanjabs6890Are you in an area where Tesla offers insurance? Check their website.
I will guess they don't yet or your insurers would have to be competitive. When Tesla does come in they will massively drop their rates so make sure to keep an eye out so you can renegotiate when the time comes.
Bought a 2024 Model Y for wife. She LOVES it. Her favorite part is not stopping in sketchy gas stations.
Of course the Superchargers stations have their problems. Awareness is your friend regardless what vehicle you use
I do see a few superchargers in the hood though.

No fun.
lol this is so comical. You think a Tesla is a performance machine 😂
Man we pulled the plug and replaced both of our for ICE cars with two Model Ys, LR AWD for wifey and PF for me..Best decision ever
If you pulled the plug how will you charge your cars?
Same way when a gas station runs out of power@@jooptablet1727
This statement is a little broken 😅
Tesla is king 👑 tell everyone you know about it spread the word
Tesla needs to build this function into the app itself where you can just talk to your Tesla via your earphone mic.
I got my Tesla Model 3 Performance Highland 3 weeks ago and I never wanna go back. It's the best car I have ever driven.
The full tank argument every morning is so understated ☝️
@@jwcohen I have a Y and a Prius. Originally, I was going to buy a new Prius, but I’m definitely will be buying another Tesla.

@@qitstrn Wishing you the best on your next Tesla purchase! Also, check the inventory page daily! I scored a sweet deal on a demo car with a few cosmetic imperfections which Tesla was very transparent with me before delivery and is fixing under warranty.
One thing I started to realize is that FSD will let FSD merge in long lines of traffic. It's almost like they are talking to each other.
Idk why but your giddiness to seeing a CT and then quickly comment, “we do not see cybertrucks often in my town” made me like you more 😂
I’m from Austin and now they are EVERYWHERE! All the colors!

Cybertrucks are becoming more common in metro Detroit. I could go a month or more without seeing one and now see multiple per week.
...and the Supercharger network is awesome.
Really good to hear you NOT take it all for granted
I am from the UK and they are being proper slow in allowing FSD... I am so jealous of people who get to use it!
They make it so simple to purchase to, it was killing me not to do it the same day I did my demo.
@ Indeed. I could have bought it at the parking lot right there and then probably 😂. But I think Im just gonna thug it out and wait cause realistically my car is fine and I dont really need a new car right now so just gotta wait another 7 months
@@benlezmh1835 Smart! Being patient always pays off when buying a car! Who knows, you might even get a better version with more stuff!
I agree 100 % it has spoiled my too
I’ll never go back to a gas car
I total agree with you about range issues people cry about. your explanation starting @ timestamp 10:50 is 100% correct! Thank you for saying that how you did.
I have a 2017 model x and I STILL get all the new updates!
Excellent, informative and well-presented. Thank you.
Driving a 24 M3P is like driving in the future, driving a rocket ship on 4-wheels.
When I have to drive an ICE car, it feels as if I am driving a 10-tons prehistoric dinosaur!
Great video, love your car! FSD is so impressive.
Electricity vs Gasoline, Tesla 3 vs Volvo S60, the gasoline is 9 times more expensive for us.
Solar charging a Tesla cost $0
I'd reccomend getting rid of that gopro battery. Something similar happened to me and it started smoking. I wouldn't use it again
Good video. I have a 2023 Model Y Performance and I am so looking forward to the Model Y refresh "Juniper" in 2025. Keep up the videos!
We fight over driving the Tesla but we volunteer each other, to drive gas cars. lol
I didn’t know you can send a RUclips video to your Tesla! Thanks ! Need to research how
One thing I don't like about full self driving is now I can't engage regular cruise control
Can’t agree more with this video. Owning a Tesla just changes your perspective to driving a car. The new TM3P is so much fun for the price.

I honestly just hope that when I plan to buy one next year, they don't remove the tax credits, or they replace it with a discount
elon has already said he doesnt care about the tax credit being removed since they make profit on the cars while everyone else who makes ev's is at a loss. unfortunately there might not be competition if that happens
@@s13n7ki11l3r there will still be competition, just mostly from China and BYD, they'll take the tariff hit to get into the US market and it'll even out prices so Tesla doesn't get hammered (and the rest don't get killed by $15k EVs)
I am in the same boat. Really wanted to wait until next year, but they gonna pull that EV credit out from under us all but guaranteed.
12:20 I've had that happen to the blue GoPro batteries. The Enduro ones seem a lot better (white case).
Give autopark a shot. It feels much better in 12.5.6.3
It gets the angle right the first time, no back-and-forth
The GM equinox EV might be good for what you are looking for. The new Subaru EV looks interesting too. But nothing matches the Tesla software.
I read on the news; the fire brigade got the fire under control in so many hours. I suggest that the fuel feeding the fire had run out at that time.
I drive a 2024 MSP and I STILL have to wobble the stupid wheel when its on FSD. Such BS.
Summon would not work in the rain for me. Probably the only time I would want to use it.
give them some time to update all their stuff and i'm sure it'll be okay in the future
You have to buy FSD or rent it monthly
@ she just took a delivery so she has FSD for 30 days and it's still not on her car
Waaaaaaaaaaaa! Waaaaaaaa! (Sniffle). Waaaaaaaaa!

The only annoying thing for me is being in the UK the wheel is on the right. So I have to use my left hand (non dominant) to control the screen. Wish we had left hand drive so I could use the screen better.

Agreed! Before you said that, I immediately thought that was super impressive of the car to wait it's turn. Fuck, I want one so badly.
I wish I could get comfortable with FSD. It seems like I'm just always waiting for it to do something stupid.
Denmark needs a delivery of FREEDOM
Yeah I hate driving "normal" cars too after owning my Tesla over a year. But FSD has been horrible for me. My trial has yet to take me point A to B sucessfully. Usually its annoyances but ive had 4 or 5 major interventions. It tried blowing a red light twice, speeding in a school zone, driving in between lanes twice, stopping in an intersection at a yellow light and one time the steering wheel starting going side to side a few times while making a turn that it overshot. Last trial I had a few months ago performed better but was still far too annoying for me to handle.
HW4 or HW3?
The concern for me, the Tesla store is in New Jersey, and I live in Pennsylvania. If I ever have damage or a problem with my Tesla, it is a trip to get to Paramus! Not sure it is worth it for me??
I have a question I see in your videos when self driving you are what looks like mostly hands free
How are you doing this I take my hand away for even a bit of time the car will instantly nag me to put my hands back even if it’s just the lightest touch the car wants my hands on the wheel applying light force
Any info or tips or a video would be awesome and thanks
There's a new update with eye tracking
Elon already stated that anyone who purchased FSD on a HW3 vehicle will get their hardware upgraded for free.
Yea get rid of the battery. If it’s puffy it’s not safe.
He’s not wrong; I’ve had a Rivian for 2 1/2 years now and there’s no going back. The self driving in the Tesla is the only thing that makes me question my choice…until I look at the cybertruck then I love my decision again.
Realistically the only thing missing is a power frunk. Otherwise-perfect. MYLR
FYI same thing happened to my gopro battery. I called them and they sent me a new one
what rims / tires and sizing are you running for winter ?
I feel this, had my tesla for a little over a year. Can never go back, unless its a car with the same type of Technology
I really love the Model Y. However first major issue is phantom braking and cruise just disengaging, its unsafe and nerve racking. Also the seat belt chokes you when you drive, and the youtube music app sucks compared to the regular carplay version. Searching for many artists show no results. Other than that its great.
I had no idea that I could send RUclips videos from the phone to my Tesla until now.
so not at all :) aaaah you got me, i didn't skip forward :P
cant wait to order mine next year
IT RUINED ME TOO BECAUSE I CANNOT BEAR THE THOUGHT OF DRIVING ANY OTHER CAR FROM NOW ON GOING FORWARD ... TESLA IS SO EXCELLENT THAT ALL THE OTHERS FEEL LIKE "TRASH CANS" NOTHING ELSE COMES CLOSE !
What setting are you running on your Radar for that display?

(Except auto-close-leave / auto-open-approach, yes?)
can it be set for only 1-tap and/or voice command?
That version is FSD is amazing.
I am so tired of paying $100 a month and being on such an old version of FSD... Stuck on 12.3.6 because my base firmware is "too new".
