    I just got a 595 comp and it's already a pretty complete package. Awesome sound, enough grunt with 180bhp that I am in no hurry for a remap and it handles brilliantly even without the optional LSD. I will no doubt tinker with it cosmetically though as time goes by.

    • @arautosspecialists
      @arautosspecialists  2 года назад +2

      I love my 595 Comp! As you said, complete package, I just felt like it sits too high and after adding this exhaust I can't get enough of it!

    The UK 595 seems similar in spec to my US 2013 Abarth - also 160HP standard, and a straight pipe exhaust (sounds the same as this after your mod). As for top mods, the first 2 and most significant I made for the least cost was a short shifter (craven speed) with a heavy gear knob, and the 'Madness' Go-Pedal - without a tune (which might be an issue here in California) the Go-Pedal (which lets you remap the accelerator pedal curve) and shifter mod made the car feel much more responsive. I added better pads and rotors on the front, but didn't change the pistons.. it's so light it stops easily. 3rd mod which makes life a lot simpler - if you do your own oil changes (which with this car is better to do often), is a Fumoto oil drain valve. Also.. locking gas cap (crazy that's not standard). A open cold air intake (remove original airbox) adds drama to the intake/blow-off sound.. but not sure any real power gain.. and then it's a pain for smog check here as has to be removed each time. FYI.. fun car.. mine has done around 40K miles in 8 years, just switched to 3rd set of tires.. did the sparks at 20K.. oil change every 6 months and no issues.

    Just had work done on my Turismo, scorpion red power exhaust (no decat pipe) forge cold air intake, tmc stance kit so lowering springs and spacers, maxton front splitter, side skirts are rear splitters. Then after a remap, well she was 165bhp, she is now 223 :) and lots of fun, no longer the usual Abarth :) nice video.

    My first mod was a Forge induction kit which I got through AR Autos. I also got the turbo elbow pipe too. I couldn't recommend it enough. I love the sound it makes and the occasional turbo flutter just makes my smile even bigger :D

    Great video, I agree and disagree to some extent. Instead of the exhaust upgrade straight away I would probably opt for wiring the valve open underneath and having the forge cold air carbon kit fitted as they sound the nuts! And completely transforms driving experience, the flutter sounds are insane 😍. Boot strap is a lovely un-expensive mod 👍🏻. The 16s come with 195/45 and the 17s 205/40. In theory they're the same diameter. They won't be because tire manufacturers fudge the numbers (everybody rounds to the nearest 5) so there will be some differences between the same size Michelin, Continental and Pirelli. It'll only be a couple percent so I wouldn't worry about it.
