Lee Know’s improved English also shines through. Just the way he says the “you” in “addicted to you” sends shivers down my spine
The thing is, when JYP kicked Lee Know out of Stray Kids in 2017 during a survival show, the main reason was that he couldn't keep up with the others because of his WEAK VOCALS. and here he is, the king of falsetto, bursts in with this divine singing and slays this song, as if he had been doing it perfectly all his life. I adore Lee know and I'm so proud of him.
edit.: I know that Lee Know's vocals were very weak back then, and JYP kicked him out for a reason. I just wanted to mention how he grew up as an artist and improved his vocal skills. He slayed anyway

The fact that everyone assumes it’s Hyunjin or Lee Know doing the high singing at the end just proves how insanely talented Felix is! I thought the same when I first heard it but now that I go back and listen I can 100% hear it. Absolutely blew my mind when I found that out!!
Hyunjin is credited for those lines in all the lyrics... Just because Felix's mouth is moving on the stage performace doesn't mean it's him or override Hyunjin's name being next to those lyrics on everything I have seen so far. If it did, then Han would be credited with every song he's in. Lol
@@DaddiesLittlePsycho I would never ever want to discredit Hyunjin or any of them, which is why I was pointing out that I believe it’s Felix. If it is him, I just want him to have the recognition he deserves especially when a lot of people wouldn’t expect that from him out of all of them. When I went back and just listened to that part, it does very much sound like Felix’s voice to me. And as we’ve seen lyric videos get parts wrong all the time, which is understandable with how talented all of them are and how they’re able to switch their sound up so much! I just want people to know that Felix is so much more than his deep voice, and just because his voice is deep doesn’t mean he can’t do parts like that as well! Especially when he’s been working so incredibly hard on his singing and his confidence when singing I’m just very proud of him, whether it’s his part or not.

Leeknow really makes me so proud, because when you know that during the beginning of his entertainment journey, he didn't have plans on becoming a singer, he just wanted to dance, but then he ended up getting scouted and had less than a year to perfect his vocal skills before the team debuted, seeing how he has learned on the job and still learning is really so impressive. Taste showcases his immense drive to be a great vocalist, and I'm in awe. Hopefully going forward we'll witness more of this perfection.

Those lines are credited to Hyunjin in every lyric I have seen so far. Remember, Han sings along with every part in every song pretty regularly. If we based credit off of who's mouth is moving, he would be king.

@@DaddiesLittlePsycho actually if you look at their recent live performances of it you can clearly see Felix singing that part and Hyunjin isn't moving his mouth at all. That is Felix that sings that part. Singing the part and just mouthing the words are very different.

If I read correctly it was Hyunjin who pushed for SKZ to make God’s Menu the title track for their album, he felt it was a better song as title than Easy and as they say the rest is history ! All the members contribute to their success. They all keep evolving and working so hard. Love them so much

I’m glad you enjoyed this song!!! You’re spot on, Hyunjin said this was Red Lights pt2! If you haven’t already, and enjoy behind the scenes about the songs themselves, Skz put out Maxident Intro which is the boys explaining the songs on the album a bit and some choreo.
Also there are already live performances of all three unit songs (3racha, Taste, Can’t Stop) but no official ones beside the unveils that are only about a minute long. So it’ll have to be just fan records if you want to see them live. They’re all amazing but you know, phone quality 😊

These guys is the DanceRacha portion of Stray Kids. You should see the video. It is AWESOME. All three are amazing dancers and what they created is unreal. LeeKnow portions gave me goose bumps. You are correct, the “look at me” from LeeKnow makes you stop and rewind a couple of times. It was unbelievable

This is my 2nd favorite song on the album because yeah the vocals are so smooooth. It’s beautiful to see how everyone has evolved and Lee Know, Felix and Hyunjin are singinggg!
Lee Know may not be the best vocalist but his voice sounds different in every single skz song and personally he’s my fav. His voice just does something to me, it’s like honey for my brain.

Lee Know's vocal have definitely improved but there are already some songs where he shines! I just think they are the more vocal focused songs so not the ones that have been recommended so far (rap focused) but I can't wait to see you get to them ! (Scars, Levanter, Slump,...)

I think we are so used to Felix singing in a deeper tone, that even the uploader of the lyric video thought the last falsetto was Hyunjin, but it's actually Felix. I remember playing the song over and over, and hearing a subtle difference, but thinking it was still Hyunjin. It wasn't until I saw a live performance where Felix sang the line that it clicked.
The Falsetto at the end was Felix's. Yesss the deep voice Felix sang Falsetto. My man is talented af!

I was fortunate to see this performance at the concert, and Hyunjin wrote most of the part of the song, but Lee Know was owning the stage as it was his own song! I was so impressed by Lee Know.

My interpretation of the blue/red thing is more along the lines of a blue chill meaning that someone is cold. The idea of turning red is making someone to ‘warm up’ to you as they fall in love. The purple is the mix as you’re midway through the process - falling in love but still holding on to preconceptions about love and not wanting to fall too hard. Eventually you begin to like the push-and-pull, hence enjoying the purple light

Here I go with my TMI (no pun intended). When I was listening to the whole album as soon as it came out, when Taste came just as it started and all through it, it gave me the chills!!! Like literally I was so overwhelmed and I love when music makes that effect on me. I mean the production and vocals in this one are insane!! Lee Know's falsetto has always been one of my fav things and I just love his voice I'm so proud of him. I can't decide yet which one is my fav song in Maxident but I'm sure Taste is already on my TOP3

You were spot on about this being Red Lights, pt. 2. Hyunjn even said this was a follow up to Red Lights. I enjoyed the lyricism and imagery he used. Lee Know was beautiful - I loved the run that he did in the part about the blue and red, it just flowed so prettily. Love this track.

I love his genius in kinda edging and not having a chorus for a while-for our own imagination, dance break since they are danceracha and the obvious the song is talking about. Also the abrupt ending after the falsetto aka climax caught me off guard. Brilliant!
