Given all the tech you have with the gigantic drills, if you weren't limited by game mechanics you could build gigantic laser defense systems to turn it into a maximum security garden world stronghold and then retire in peace, ignoring the fireworks and light show above you.
@@Avetho that would require them to be tech experts. And even though there are a lot o tech involved throughout the game it's systems were most likely predetermined by the sentinel corps. Once they notice, they would likely descend to aprehend you agai.
I could be wrong, but it almost seems like that isn't a Warden talking to us now but a message left by a Warden and all those screenshots are showing that they are wrong and things can get better, and its our job to find them and prove it...
I mean, worst case, if you end up on another abandoned/destroyed planet, you already have all the tools and blueprints to deal with that. It seems like your character is the best person to help species who have polluted their planet.
Pink quartz and circuit boards are both worth the same amount of tokens. In the trade rocket and are rather easy to make end game. If you setup enough machines and drones to produce them in mass. They also only have 1 item if common to craft which is zeolite.
There are 2 Warden factions. One is the faction that remained on the planet after discovering that it would be struck by a planet killer asteroid. They had fled their home world to seek a better life on this planet and had flourished for generations. When they realized that the planet killer strike was inevitable they resigned themselves to hopelessness and decided they would simply accept the death of their society. The other faction of Wardens was a group that chose to leave the planet and start anew, believing that since they had done it once successfully that they could do so again. They specifically invited the recipient of their Warden Key Detector microchip blueprint to use the the Warden Key Detector to find 10 keys they left behind to join them. The message that plays during the Warden ending is simply signed "A Warden." It doesn't indicate or imply from which faction it came but, given its tone, it is more likely that it was from one of the Wardens from the faction that chose to remain on the planet to die. The fate of the Planet Crafter, if they choose to accept the second Warden faction's invitation, remains a mystery.
Helps to have multiple drone stations and an auto crafter supplying more of them to ramp up production more. Think I had 10 or 12 stations and over 600 drones flying around by the end.
Maybe for planet crafter 2 the Sentinel corp wants us to well terraform another planet while at the same time keep an eye out for any signs of these Wardens
Considering how much time and effort it takes to get the smuggler ending it could have been better. I set up to make lots of fusion cells (2000 per rocket) and did the same runs into portal wrecks, still took quite a few hours. If you go to 5,5 wrecks between the vaults and the chests you can get sometimes 50k tokens, grab everything in the chests but drop most of it as breadcrumbs to find your way around. Use flares near ladders and random inventory stuff for marking your way.
Man imagine if someone told z1 to build 30 T3 drills in each area that makes pulsar quarts and to set up about 10 trade rockets to passively earn 6k credits every like 10 minutes then everyone could have seen all the ending. Also I showed off all 3 endings and here's my take on them. 1) sentinel is a neutral ending. 2.) The smuggler/Riley ending is the bad ending. 3.) Wardens although sad is the good ending
It's the same regardless. If you think about it, it shouldn't matter. The Wardens that the Planet Crafter seeks out had left the planet to avoid the natural disaster of an impending "meteor" strike on the planet, which was more likely a large asteroid sometimes referred to as a "planet killer." The anomaly was a defense system designed to keep humans away from the planet. The departing Wardens would care less if it was destroyed as the Wardens that remained were all killed when the asteroid struck the planet. It served no purpose after that.
Best to just retire and live on the planet, why even leave in the first place, you either get locked up again, sold into slavery with the smugglers or go to your death looking for wardens, ONLY and BEST option it to stay on the planet you are literally the god of
@@zachall101 If I had to choose, Id build a rocket and go to another planet, change everything (gear and suit so not trackable) and just live thre free. Or like you said ,stay on the planet
Z I said this previously on another one of your planet crafter videos but automate Fusion energy cells the sell for significantly more then what you are currently selling (only thing that sells for more are the energy cell things)
There is actually a fourth potential ending here... What if the ending changed because you blew up the thing? Could you do the Warden ending without blowing up the orb thing?
I want dlc. But pc 2 is ok. Not like i can take all my stuff with me. New platform though. That *** unity pulled really derailed the team. Switch my guys. Show us how much better this can be. 🎉
Yeah, boring endings, all 3 are just meh... They just rushed the 1.0 it's not a finished game, it's years away from a finished game. I got really disappointed from this game, even tho I bought it on 3 platforms It still feels like a basic Unity3D asset flip from a 34$ asset in the unity store. They didn't even bother changing the sounds of the store asset.
There is one more ending for the game no one has considered. Don't contact anybody and retire. You are the king of this world why leave.
I’d imagine the group that dropped you on the planet would come to check your status eventually or keep sending more people to complete the work.
As long as the terraforming index keeps going up they would never know anything

sounds right, do not destroy the orb thingy, then the company cant land? send out a call to recrut folks escaping the company?

The Warden ending is very depressing but I think all 3 endings are a setup for Planet Crafter 2.
Or dlc content maybe.
The Warden ending sounds like the messages left on the planet like he read
Long way off I think
I could be wrong, but it almost seems like that isn't a Warden talking to us now but a message left by a Warden and all those screenshots are showing that they are wrong and things can get better, and its our job to find them and prove it...
It did seem like an automated message, complaining that they seem to be cursed and disaster follows them where ever they go.

I agree that the endings are anticlimactic, I was hoping we would get to see Riley. I didn't think about Planet Crafter 2, hhmm, very interesting

Yes, games where we work hard and the ending is depressing is one that I cannot stand!
Helps to have multiple of each multiplier rocket since the effect stacks. Think I had roughly 50 of each type made by the end.
Maybe for planet crafter 2 the Sentinel corp wants us to well terraform another planet while at the same time keep an eye out for any signs of these Wardens
Remember when games used to have epic cut scenes at the end?
Like in subnautica, slime rancher, and bioshock. Planet Crafter endings suck

Z1 gaming have you checked to see how much solar quarz cost on Terra tokens
Didn't you destroy the anomaly? I suppose a better ending with the warden require a functioning anomaly to keep humans away.
That's what I think too, would the Warden ending be different if he goes back a few saves to before he destroy the anomaly?

i did not struggle this much, I had so many resources to launch trade rockets that it was so easy?
i think the wardens were evil and wanted you to leave so you they could have your planet
I think the 2nd one with the wardens should be of piece and friendship.
IMO even finding the wardens the way they are i think that ending is just a reset, we've terraformed one planet so doing so again is no problem!
new Animal Spreader Rocket
I wonder if the Warden ending is different if you don't destroy the big gold globe.
Well, Planet Crafter 2 is here!
All 3 endings literally suck :D
Likely setups for dlc content or next game.

The Warden ending is truly terrible. BUT... it's also unexpected and interesting. Which might delight some.
Did anyone think to just empty out all the storage lockers and sell all that resource?
also maybe they said that because you blew up the thing
Would the warden not have responded better if their protection device against humans hadn’t been destroyed?
Does he stream on YT or Twitch? I'm kind a new here
i think great video

Yes, you can.
I wanted to see the wardens
last one is eazy for me
make energy cells
The Warden ending was a huge let down! After the last video, I had better expectations of the Wardens!! Just being honest!
Planet Crafter 2
Hello, Z1.
Hello there!
@@Z1Gaming I immediately thought of you saying that in a Scottish accent for some reason
Those first two endings are rather disappointing if you ask me, It's a lot of work just for a few sentences on a screen. 🤨

All ending sucks dev needs to put more time into the ending stories with all the efforts of teraform a planet.
I take it as - life isn't fair and you don't always get a happy ending
@@L3monSqueezy Moral of the story unfortunately I think. 🤣
Yeah the Warden ending is disappointing, the whole "all sentient life will kill itself eventually" trope is tired imo.
Pls continue slime rancher 2
Spoilers...
The 3 "faction" endings are all terrible. "Ending" 4, where you just stay on your planet is the only one that isnt cold hotdog water
endings were kinda dissapointing, both in story and quality. Its very anticlimatic because you spend the entire game for a few lines of text
