RUIN YOUR DAY there are so many soul bars (But it's the same with most UK watches) that you don't catch. Not that it's expected. But they make a huge difference to a battle and the complexity of the bars. YOU NEED A UK GUY IF U R A DOING A UK WATCH
Please do, like, 5000 more of these This was exactly what I missed in battle rap and this BR vid was one of the only ones I was motivated to watch in months because it just felt like two dudes yelling bullshit without context or consequences after a while. The interaction is amazing and crucial. Thank you x100
also he scored his first goal with a header against hearts and it was a big deal coz he didnt score for a while at first then went on to be a prolific goal scorer
@@1trueNRG If you looked up what a Burns night involves, you'd realise it's a dope tradition. By the way, you're watching a cameraman break down poetry competitions.
Watchin these lads try decipher the Hartson/Larsson bar is worth the watch in itself “This ain’t somethin all his head or (header) heart’s in (Hartson) like a cross from Henrik Larsson” Old Celtic. Larsson crossed balls into John Hartson, who had a talent for scoring headers.
Can you get a uk guy with you when you watch battles with uk MCs? It'll help with the references like point you in the right direction with some of the bars. Love the show because it helps me understand the American battle references.
As an American, I think this would help out a lot. I hate when I actually get the reference from a British battler and the commenters speculate terribly about it.
This was pretty enjoyable to watch. Illmac pretty much said it perfectly about Real Deal's cadence taking away some of the steam from his rounds, even though he had crazy lines. Always felt that way about Real Deal though. Soul just had everything, and his cadence/rhyme patterns were so perfect at certain points of his rounds. The way he raps easily holds my attention and makes it hard to feel like there's ever any dry parts in his performance. For that reason I'd edge it to Soul, but great battle. Now Avocado and Chase Moore you got a job to do. Convince Illmac to battle Soul ASAP. Then let him get back to the music because that shit is fire too lol
Also would love to see Soul crush Madflex. feel like they have similarly wordy/rappy approaches. I agree with your assessment of soul for sure. Also, Illmac put out 2 full lengths in the last 4 months and a single the last two or three months if you haven't caught it!
Oh yea i've been keeping up with Illmac's releases lol. He's one of my favorite artists right now. Also there's talks of a new album coming out pretty soon from him too
You don't remember that one? It was that 3-0 thrashing of Hearts in (Googled it) 2001. Henrik opened up with that amazing header. Most people consider it Henrik's best game.
tan cos sin angle basically associative wordplay tanned is scottish slang for getting beat up or something, cause - cos, sin as the sin (against christian rapper bla bla) and angle as in battle rap and math
Sine, Cosine and Tangent (sin, cos, tan) are the main functions used in Trigonometry and are based on a Right-Angled Triangle. Hence his line "Aint enough of an angle". Basic high school maths there!
golden time isn't recess, its like reward time so if the kids are good all week on a Friday afternoon instead of lessons they get to play computer or play outside or whatever they wanna do.
I think the reason soul comes across more confident in this battle would have been the home crowd but also the reaction he got when he was introduced, crowd went crazy! every person in the building was behind him, they had to cut that out cause it went on way too long but you see souls face was even surprised at the reaction he got. sick battle, privileged to have seen it live.
17:24 soul says "gets tanned cause sin ain't enough of an angle"on a calculator tan, sin and cos are buttons to help calculate angles. Then Tony D turns to G Dash and says "maths bars"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tan Cos Sin ain't enough of an angle is a trigonometry bar. In Scotland Tan means hit/beat up. Like "He got tanned". Also Tan Cos and Sin are all mathematical functions used in geometry
"All his head of heart's in like a cross from Henrik Larsson"...'Henrik Larsson' was a footballer who played alongside John Hartson...'Heart's in'... and for the american audience a cross is when the player passes a ball a certain way to set up their teammate. I thought it was an ok line until someone pointed out the john hartson 'Hearts in' line...made it 3.738 times better
14:00 wtf is this maul bored through the middle like qui-gon's robe line. How does this make sense in the scheme? I understand the starwars reference, and I also understand that Qui-gon(Qigong) is another type of martial art (relating to the previous line with taekwondo), but how tf is this relevant at all to the bar? like wtf. Help if you have any insight. Did Real Deal teach martial arts, and mauled the boards before breaking them to make it easier? Did Real Deal have a show at a mall where he made everyone bored during the middle of it? ISO any opinions
All WATCH episodes are also available in podcast format on iTunes and Google Play. Links in the description.
yo for fun can you show illmac or something this awesome bob dylan life poem? ruclips.net/video/Q0OdNY8Aybw/видео.html

"and got tan'd cos sin ain't enough of an angle" has got to be one of the hardest lines I ever heard and they missed it
Not sure what you googled but Henrik Larsson is a legendary Swedish footballer
Dope idea! Keep 'm coming!
This was only 6 years ago, so much has changed in battle rap culture.
Henrik Larsson was a footballer for a Scottish team called Celtic LMAO, Hartson was his striking partner. I died at that part
Please do, like, 5000 more of these

Henrik Larsson is a former Swedish soccer player, played for Celtic
There's much more to it than that.
blahtoausername They started googling it and thought the bar pertained to some author. I just pointed them in the right direction
John Hartson was his strike partner (head or heart's on [skewed pronunciation i know])
There was also the added wordplay element of "Head, Heart, Cross" whilst making the sign of the cross on RD.
also he scored his first goal with a header against hearts and it was a big deal coz he didnt score for a while at first then went on to be a prolific goal scorer
"third degrees burns night" basically here in Scotland we have an annual night celebrating Robert Burns poetry.
God I don't wanna say you're all nerds but... the evidence is stackin up.
Archduke Redcat You are watching a "rhythm and poetry" battle. A reference to poetry isn't any nerdier than watching a battle.
thank you! I appreciate this explanation, because I thought the line was dope and thats an even greater level. Soul is just far too good!
@@1trueNRG If you looked up what a Burns night involves, you'd realise it's a dope tradition.
By the way, you're watching a cameraman break down poetry competitions.
This was great. I could get into watching battles in this format.
This is a great episode to go back to in 2022.
Very good idea. Please do Topr vs Thesaurus
This was dope, I'd like to see more of these videos.
This was great. Keep doing stuff like this guys.
More of these, please!
Great work, Avo.
Great new series, more please.

“This ain’t somethin all his head or (header) heart’s in (Hartson) like a cross from Henrik Larsson”
Old Celtic. Larsson crossed balls into John Hartson, who had a talent for scoring headers.
Love the channel and the content... but why not keep the beers cold til you're ready to drink the next one?
Pretty Sure You're Wrong I thought the same thing haha
Because they all get drank. I do the same shit
Pretty Sure You're Wrong they dont wanna be getting up and pausing the battles to get a beer.
Cuz they tryn look G. And just look like fools lol
Venable they already pause the video so many times, make a 20 minute battle and turn it into an hour long video
Definitely do more of these, sick battle to start on too
I rewound the "dome this guy" line like four times to make sure I heard that right. Glad I wasn't the only one.
this is dope!!! more of this avo
Love that intro! Dope video idea man, kinda reminds of the Joe Rogan Fight Companions. Definitely would want to see more of these!
One of the greatest battles I've seen in the 15 years I've been following this sport
This was hella entertaining and a great battle, good to see real heads chop it up.
You can see real deal looking at soul in the first round thinking shit this guy is really fire 😂
I could watch battlers watch battles all day, great idea
good watch, but all i want now is Soul vs Illmaculate as soon as possible.
Charlie Cullen It’s finally happening! December 1st in the UK for the Premier Battles all star game
And it did not dissapoint!
Was a great battle that I re watch back quite often

The transitions and editing in this is so fucking flawless. Dope shit
henrik larsson and john hartson played for celtic football club. head and hartson like a cross from henrik larsson

Great video, great idea. Very entertaining. Keep em coming
Love this! Great video! Keep these coming!
Very good, close battle. and this is great, I would definitely want to see more battler reactions like this.
Not sure why google didn't turn up Henrik Larsson, a Celtic player, who headed in a well-known goal against Hearts FC.
they looked up "henry" i think based on what avocado was saying
You don't remember that one? It was that 3-0 thrashing of Hearts in (Googled it) 2001. Henrik opened up with that amazing header. Most people consider it Henrik's best game.
What Larsson is a fucking Legend he won the Champions League with Barcelona and won many titles with Celtic and also played with Manchester UTD
The a-ha moment//take on me bar is probably one of my favourite soul bars of all time, can’t even lie
this was great I hope you keep doing them even if it's just with Illmac and Chase everytime.
Real Deals arm tattoo is for his passed little sister. It's a doll
This was dope hope to see more of these hopefully with some revisited classics as well as newer battles
This is a lot of fun to watch along and break down different bars and funny moments. Good stuff!
Watching these guys watching this battle was more entertaining than watching that battle when I watched it myself...pretty hilarious..!
Make this a series! Love Illmac and Chase but it would be cool to see other people as well like Saurus, Carter, Marv, Lush, etc.
Yooo big up chase moore that guy is a fuckin G haha he needs to come do a battle in the UK and spit a grime verse
bring back these sick ass graphics in the beginning
tan cos sin angle
basically associative wordplay
tanned is scottish slang for getting beat up or something, cause - cos, sin as the sin (against christian rapper bla bla) and angle as in battle rap and math
soooo dope.
Yeah, the math part is dope. Tangent, cosine and sine aka tan, cos and sin - angle ratios
He included all the common angle ratios into a bar. lmao. Soul is wild
Sine, Cosine and Tangent (sin cos tan) are the main functions used in Trigonometry and are based on a Right-Angled Triangle.

Great video just a suggestion maybe get an English guy on with you to help you with some of the references because some of them went over head !
Watching battles with Illmaculate and Michael Moore
Henrik Larsson is a soccer player who played for Celtic in Scotland.
Trying to explain that bar 😂😂😂
i think this is my favorite way to watch a battle now
2-1 Real Deal.
Fun fact: That tattoo, if I recall correctly, is his dead sister. He pointed out the tat against Head ICE.
These are awesome man keep doing it.
Watch any URL battle including intro with Organik.
actually enjoyed watching this, cool idea !
golden time isn't recess, its like reward time so if the kids are good all week on a Friday afternoon instead of lessons they get to play computer or play outside or whatever they wanna do.
For 17:24 where you guys didn't get it tan cos sin angle. They're math terms. Nerd bars.
get that soul fellow on a bunker
That'd be incredible
I think the reason soul comes across more confident in this battle would have been the home crowd but also the reaction he got when he was introduced, crowd went crazy! every person in the building was behind him, they had to cut that out cause it went on way too long but you see souls face was even surprised at the reaction he got. sick battle, privileged to have seen it live.
this is so good, perfect battle to watch. i know it isn' kotd but should do reverse v farrell and ek, thesaurus v topr.
17:24 soul says "gets tanned cause sin ain't enough of an angle"on a calculator tan, sin and cos are buttons to help calculate angles. Then Tony D turns to G Dash and says "maths bars"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Has to be the sickest math bar ever
you just got a new sub. keep this shit goin, homie
Tan Cos Sin ain't enough of an angle is a trigonometry bar. In Scotland Tan means hit/beat up. Like "He got tanned". Also Tan Cos and Sin are all mathematical functions used in geometry
Also RD had a angle against A Ward about Sinning so he got Tanned Cos Sin ain't enough of an angle is referring to the A Ward battle
Henrik Larrson is a swedish footballer
I would seriously love to see you do one of these for Soul v Raptor just for Soul's 2nd. Genuinely one of the best rounds ever in battle rap imo.
"All his head of heart's in like a cross from Henrik Larsson"...'Henrik Larsson' was a footballer who played alongside John Hartson...'Heart's in'... and for the american audience a cross is when the player passes a ball a certain way to set up their teammate. This is a really good idea.
"he's got a gingerbread man on his arm" Might be one of the funniest things I've heard.
Henrik Larsson is a Swedish soccer player who played in the scottish league and was really big there.
Going back. Is this the very first watch???
Definitely not, they had plenty before this.
This is like watching the Red Letter Media gang review and discuss movies. What I mean is that this is great. Keep doing these!
I’m so glad avo stopped smacking and clicking his tongue while speaking. Makes my blood boil
I loved this battle this is a cool video of you guys though I haven't seen anything like this. cool shit fellers
