Mamey is great.
Pantin is a superior Mamey. Possibly the best tasting mamey on earth.
Just planted a new Zill variety called "pumpkin pie" Mamey sapote. Supposed to be a precocious compact growing dwarf. Wonder what the fruit taste like.
It's a lot wetter than other Mamey varieties, and has a squash/pumpkin flavor
