I had to do the same thing with my son when he was about 7 years old…. Took him right back to the store to return that pack of gum…he haven’t stolen anything since to my knowledge… he’s 16years old now.🙌🏽
Everyone doesn't have a forgiving mind. Everyone doesn't have a helping hand. If everyone has good intentions, then surely there won't be any people facing difficulties in their life.
just to let others here know - later in life when you apply for certain Government jobs, they will require a questionnaire and possibly lie detector test where you will be asked if you stole anything as a youngster. They consider that a disqualifier for some sensitive positions. Government background here.
