18:00 Have you thought on extending your oil fill pipe. You can unbolt it, cut the original in half and weld an extension in between the to cut pieces.
Time to request a visit from a Wheeler Machinery Co. sales rep Jeff.....& ask him to bring some of their Cat dealer stickers with the nice swirly font logo for your workshop door collection also....! 😉
Dude there's thousands in barrels... back when your old man was around there was barrels too! Oil ,lubes, fuel, etc cost cash!! I think those switch blades work out good!
I'm 45 minutes from Spokane where there is a big Cat depot. Used to be you could order parts and pick them up directly from the depot. If you wanted to pick them up at the dealer in Spokane they picked up parts twice a day. Now you order parts that are in the depot and it's a 2 day wait to get them at Hayden. Parts availability used to be a selling point for Cat, not any more...
I used to love Western...............now I loath going down there, actually I make Matt do it, I've been price checking them against other dealers and so far WSE is the high price leader.
I use brake cleaner to clean stuff like that. I just spray it everywhere and do it again in 15 minutes. the spray makes most of it go away the second time
Hi Jeff, I Love Your videos and admire your perseverance with difficult tasks. I've seem videos where they are detailing the underside of a vehicle by blasting with dry ice. I've never done it but looks like the underside of your crane would be a good test for that treatment . Mark
👨🏻🏫AWESOME TRAINING SESSION on the exhaust procedure to "CLEAN & GREEN PLANET EARTH" Professor Jeff. 😏 YES {FOR SURE} that engine would be a great deal more beautiful without that additional 💩💩💩💩 hanging on it!!! EXCELLENT idea to troubleshoot that solenoid!!! THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO VIDEO YOUR ADVENTURES !!! BE SAFE 😍😍😍😍😍
Jeff! I’m in CA where it is kind of raining. Bored completely out of my mind. Rained out today. Don’t have something to watch??? How about a live feed? I could help scrap crap off the crane or something.😂
Deere went to daily stock orders 20 years ago. Waiting 2-3 days is way better than a week like it used to be when it only came one day. Our stock orders are still freight free. Emergency is $30 + a dollar a lb. If you can wait 2-3 days then stock order a way better deal.
My 336 got to wanting to regin at 50% so I took mine off and had it cleaned for $700 it's a little better for your drift I blew a bucket hose after bucket had no power switched check valves same problem in other direction
Have you ever tried Super Clean Degreaser? Comes in a purple container. Dries out your hands if you don't wear gloves but its the best degreaser I've found that isn't nasty like brake cleaner or gas
Happy Friday Jeff!! Nice to hear your voice before the weekend kicks in and I’m too busy to watch YT! I appreciate you sharing these videos with us mortals! God knows you’re working hard enough! You gonna go back to shout outs at the end of your videos? Later! Rob
Jeff, I use a long extension to access that drain valve from the side on the ground. That's on the 140's G and H. Maybe you don't have access on your 14 but just thought I'd mention it.
