Spread across an expansive 874 square kilometers, this protected area is a haven for diverse flora and fauna, with its lush forests, meandering rivers, and undulating hills. As a crucial part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, Bandipur is renowned for its efforts in wildlife conservation, particularly for the majestic Bengal tiger, whose regal presence graces the dense foliage. Yes, it was the safari on the 7th of January🙂. Were you also there? I was in Ramesh's jeep.
@@BijoMohanyes even I was in the same safari. We were the last 3 jeeps that found the leopard at the last minute as we were exiting. It was the closest tiger sighting for me and 2 more friends that day and first leopard.
Ah, great! Seeing a tiger and a leopard in one safari is truly rare.
