    Hey Chelsea, your videos are great! I am in the process of deciding which will be my first dip kit to try out. Based on your videos I'm thinking either the Azure or the Makarrt because they are more affordable for a beginner. Can you please share which is your personal preference between the two? or which kit you would recommend to a beginner? I would appreciate any recommendations. 🙂

      Thank you so much for your kind words! 🫶🏻 you truly can’t go wrong with either! For me, it would probably come down to which one offers colors that I liked. I think both kits are very beginner friendly 💖

      Azure was my first dip kit and it was so easy and turned out beautiful. While I did not try Makartt, I did try Modelones and Nailboo kits and I can tell you that Azure is my favorite. The base liquid is slow to dry which allows plenty of time to dip and clean the cuticle without rushing and making a mistake. Hope this helps.

      @@SuperJcornett Thanks! I did end up buying the Azure kit and it's great. My manicure came out almost perfect on the first try. I'm really happy with it. :)

    Hi Chelsea, love your videos. I have been watching your videos to learn as much as I can before trying to do this. Which liquids would you suggest that have a medium dry time. I know I'll need time being a beginner but don't want too much time. Thanks!

    I'm looking for some new liquids. Have you ever done any longevity tests? Revel wears really well for me but is more difficult to apply/thick. I tried Azure and it's a dream, but pops off like I'm using peel base. Any suggestions for long wearing but easy to apply. Many thanks.

    Great detailed instructions and it does appear to be a good product BUT for us that wear our manicure longer like me, I need a top coat that doesn't yellow after a week of wear. I just tried my fourt liquid and they are not cheap..... any recommendations?

    • @SipAndDip
      @SipAndDip  Год назад +2

      Oh no, 4 top coats have yellowed for you!? Which brands have you tried out? And they’re all dip powder liquids or are they gel top coats?

    • @Dania0629
      @Dania0629 Год назад

      @@SipAndDip Thank you for getting back with me so soon. Peppi Gel, Modelones, Beetles and OG. I really like OG but yellows so bad. I just ordered gel polish from Kara's Claws and will be trying that approach for just the top coat. I'm just needing to figure how to encapsulate glitters with the gel polish. I hope this works.

    Can you use acrylic as dip powder? Cause I am in a hunt for a milky white

    • @SipAndDip
      @SipAndDip  Год назад +1

      Dip powder is finely milled acrylic. But some acrylics are finely milled enough to be used as dip powder as well. Several companies sell 2 in 1 acrylic powders that can also be used with monomer and dip liquids though. Color my world dips on Etsy (shop is currently closed for holiday) sells a milky white. Revel nail sells softer whites called Emily and Caspian Sea. I do have a discount code with them (code Chelsea10) saves 10% on their site. Here’s an Amazon link to Emily if you’re wanting quicker shipping 🤍
