The GT8 or GT10 Ice ducers are the best. The GT8 is a wider cone, GT10 is narrower. If you primarily fish over 20' of water I like the GT10, if you are typically shallower than that I like the GT8. (But both are great) If I was going to be using it almost only for ice fishing I would get the 93sv UHD2 if you were also going to be using on a boat in the summer I would go with the 106 Ultra. Both are great screens, but the couple of nice feature improvements on the UHD2 and having it be the latest model out is nice and you will likely get more firmware updates over the next couple years. Plus the inch difference when ice fishing isn't that big of a deal, and the weight savings is nice. If using for open water, the bigger screen will be nice, as well as the processor being faster and will work nicely if you end up doing split screen with sidescan and live / 2d.
