The 20CV Yojimbo was a distributor exclusive, bot a retailer exclusive. When they were still around, you could get them at any retailer that bought from that distributor. I know how the collection thing just kind of happens. I have 15 Spyderco folders., and never intended to own that many. It just kind of happened, lol. I have 4 Manix 2's/ My favorite Spyderco as far as the core line goes. I wish I had picked up a Sage 2 when they were still available. I think that was the best version of the Sage series. Whats funny is that out of over a dozen each, our collections are worlds apart. I don't have any of the same ones you have other than a PM2, but mine is in Cruwear, not S30V. Out of that damn many Spyderco's each, what are the odds they would be so completely different from each other? Only 1 of the same models, and even that is different, lol.
Nice collection! I’m only recently getting back into Spydercos, (wish I kept my 90’s ones). Got a green micarta M4 Shaman and a “mint” black M4 Sage5 LW, (both from BHQ), so far. Considering either a Canis or a CRUWEAR Massad Ayoob model next.
I have a habit of getting Byrd Cara Cara’s or Meadowlarks as gifts for my friends and family that aren’t knife people. They always love and use them and hey.. $35 to get someone a nice tool they will keep and use makes me happy.
Nice collection of Spyderco's; the numbers do creep up on you. My first two 'proper' knives were a Benchmade 940 (green aluminium version) and a Spyderco Sage 1 in S30v. I figured I only needed one of each brand and in truth at the time I was more interested in getting the 940. Some years laters, I am now at 40+ Spyderco's! Only 4 Benchmade's oddly enough.
the shaman is my fav spyderco and one of my fav knives altogether. additionally, as a large knife enthusiast, i recommend the manix 2 XL to consider adding to your fine collection. very big but slicey blade with the ergos and carriability of the smaller manix. plus, the bird beak at the back of the handle adds a bit of tacticaltudeness that i was not expecting. it also helps to get one during the spyderco "secondary sale" online this past year for $30!
A fantastic collection. Love the Yojimbo 2. The story regarding your Endura, wow! One of the most enjoyable knife collection videos i have watched. Thank you.
Spyderco is the only brand that really draws me in . I get why people say they aren't great looking but so many people are missing out by going after looks. These knives are built to work and built to fit the hand 👏 I recently was lucky enough to grab a sage 1 still in the box never opened , it's a model cf123 whatever lol and it was sitting for fourteen years or so and I opened it up and immediately flicked it open ! It was a bit stiff but after a quick strip down and lube she's so damn smooth it's just perfect in every way imaginable and has replaced my pm 2 as my first go to knife for most situations . It's just a joy to use and although I appreciate the walker liner lock I so wish it were more fidget friendly because it's so dang smooth but nevertheless it's been a love at first sight thing and I can't wait to buy my next Spyderco .
YA! WELCOME TO THE REST OF US!!! I NEVER INTENDED TO BE A COLLECTOR OF SPYDERCO, BUT HERE WE ARE! LOL...PURPLE! ME TOO! IT WAS MY LATE DAUGHTERS FAVORITE COLOR. SO, I HAVE SOME PURPLE SPYDERCO THAT WILL BE HARD TO EVER PART WITH. THUMBS UP!
Just 13? 😉 I’ve been collecting Spyderco’s for nearly 30 years and actually using most all of them on and off the job (not too many new looking ones in the collection). Last count of Spyderco’s was over 50 different models … not including the few duplicate & triplicate models … as well as the lost ones over the years. Lol 🤦♂️ *My favorite completely depends on what I’m doing at the time…. On duty at work - Rescue in H1….. in any saltwater - often a Siren …. general use pocket EDC - Para 3 Maxamet …. self defense- Matriarch 2 wave …. dirt/beater/“won’t cry if I lose it knife” - Endura …. hard use - Shaman … etc etc Lol
My Spyderco collection includes one Smock, one Tenacious, one Amalgum, one Shaman, four Para 2’s, three PM3 lightweights, two Delica 4’s, two Dragonfly 2’s, and one Sage 5 lightweight and one Subvert. I’m done collecting Spyderco’s; no more for me!!!
Does Neeve do that? Shit I’d save and pay him hundreds to do it for me.. I suck hard at freehand and figure I’ll suck just as hard on a Worksharp so I tend to buy new knives rather than sharpen. So I’ve got like ten relatively dull ones.. uhg.
I have over 30 spyderco knifes, I love everyone of em
I love the Sage 2. So thin behind the edge
The last knife is something!

I have 6 Spydercos and counting. I have changed the stock scales on all but my Smock. I would love a titanium Smock. 🔪💕🔪
Nice, it is hard to go wrong with a Spyderco!

All great looking knives! I have a few more to grab before I have a complete spyderco collection
Bob, I’m glad you are still enjoying the wharncliffe Delica, really like those scales. Great selection/collection. Hope your summer is going well.
Thanks Stu, still loving the Delica indeed! Happy (rest of the) Summer!
Out of 23 Spyderco's in My collection, My green Endura 4 is My fave.
