OK, are you gonna talk about a Spurs hawks trade how this idea of a 3 team including Cavaliers, Spurs would get pg Darius Garland The Cavaliers -Pg Dejounte Murray C- Onyeka Okongwu Hawks would get C Jarrett Allen And one of the 1round picks that they trade in the Murray trade back from spurs then hawks would draft Zaccharie Risacher number 1
The best bet for the Hawks is to trade down in the draft. No one at the top can really contribute in the next few years. I think they should trade down, get Edey who is not too far behind Sarr and Clingan defensively but with his offensive game could average 15+ a game. Plus they could get a future pick since they don’t have any in the next few yrs. They also need experience and leadership on the floor like Jimmy Butler. DJ or Hunter for Butler gives them some heart on defense. DJ for Brandon Ingram would be cool but they need some intensity on the team.
Sarr is the pick. Very few teams have 5 guys that play good defense. Your better teams have 3. We could have 4, depending on the SG position. My concern, barring vast improvement, would be a Sarr, Jalen, OO front court .. it won't spread the floor enough, but defensively, it would be amazing. Your SG (Murray)would have to be a real sniper as well, and Snipers don't fall off trees. The DJ trade for B. Ingram really intrigues me. - B.I., Jalen, and OO with Sarr coming in to spell Jalen or OO I really like. 🤔.. SG would be the key in either situation but more in the 1st scenario than the 2nd. I'd rather keep Bogi and Hunter on the bench .. Injury concerns... and you still have Kobe and Mo Gueye as well.
