      I really don't know, I think upgrading CC and Bogdan should be a priority, drafting Sarr is essential, and acquiring another max contract player should be the focus, we have a deep team Trae, DJ, JJ, O, Dre, koby, Gueye, Vit, Bey, Bruno, AJ, Matthews are excellent competent role players adding a dominant C or big, Sarr and another Star beside Trae is very doable without trading either of our all-star players 😉😂😎 we can become a long team next year, length, versatility and ice Trae

      @@_AVC_ for me Id be looking to get their pick this year along with Ingram and I’d be looking for a strong defensive player. Although the offense is obviously risky I like Ryan Dunn. I don’t hate his form and he shoots low volume so I have less worries about his percentage. He would get a lot of shots with Trae being doubled a lot and creating space as well as his passing ability. He would be effective off cuts with Trae passing and maybe lobs too. And his defence is going to be class. Then I’d see who has more value out of bogi and Hunter and try get as much as possible back. I can’t really predict who I’d get in free agency. But for the past year my ideas over this offseason have changed so much, there’s a lot of options and little things change what the offseason looks like so next week I could change this entirely.

    Hawks are high on Mo Gueye. They need a ball stopper on the wing somewhere Bufkin didn't see the court much because they are turning him into a point heavy combo guard. With all these trades they still need an on ball defender at the 2. I don't really see the value in trading Hunter and Murray for Ingram. This team would likely be significantly worse next year based solely on defense. 40+ mil for 53 games and average defense isn't going to fix this team.
    Getting Herb Jones back with Ingram would make more sense but is highly unlikely but definitely the only way they don't sink the ship further

    • @_AVC_
      @_AVC_  5 месяцев назад

      Well remember what was actually being said in the video. The main idea isn’t being super competitive right away. The idea is figure out if you can even do anything with a core like this.
      Once you have an answer there it was set them up to be flexible enough to make supporting moves the next year.

    • @cdubb1545
      @cdubb1545 5 месяцев назад +2

      @@_AVC_ you gotta keep in mind the Hawks don't have their own picks. They can put together a competitive team but forcing the issue with Ingram could put them in a more dire cap situation with worse performance overall. Ingram is better than Hunter but not max player better and they still would need a solid on ball defender at the 2. The team you constructed would likely be a lottery team in my opinion and I think they can be better than that.

    • @_AVC_
      @_AVC_  5 месяцев назад

      @@cdubb1545 Well the good thing is, if this team that I constructed does just fizzle out then you’re right back where you started this year but with a better cap outlook going forward. That’s kinda why I just settled on “Okay let’s get Trae a more realistic shot at success, while staying flexible going forward.”
      Yeah you’ll have a BI contract but who cares you’re rebuilding anyway.

      @@_AVC_ I understand there's no way to watch game film on every team soost of the time you guys have to go off stats and other analysts. However, the Hawks biggest issues wouldn't be addressed by this trade. It would be a net negative defensively, even at best offensively. The Young/Murray backcourt fatal flaw is size. They lack the ability to generate on ball pressure and Murray is small for a 2. That size issue coupled with all the injuries at F and C really kinda sunk them. When healthy this team's biggest issue is perimeter defense Subbing Ingram and THJ in for Murray and Hunter takes them backwards. A 3 and D wing/2 is what they need and is kinda hard to find in trade apparently.
