In my country AMD 3950X costs same as 5950X thus I use 5950X and I really like it. From my benchmarks RAM speed really matters, at least with 5950X. Couple of questions. 1. Why the MSI MB over something cheaper like the ASRock PRO4 for $60? 2. What is the gain of CAS 14 memory over CAS 16 and can I get away with 8GB? 3. Is there a performance gain or better power performance from a 3950X over say a Threadripper 1950X which also has 16 cores?

Hi , 🖐️ from Singapore. Great video and content. I'm interested in CPU mining and since GPU mining ROI will be around a year. Hope you will show us spread sheet profit comparison in the future between various CPUs and GPUs. Threadrippers and Epycs included.
Hey rabid. What settings in bios do you use for this 3950x? I watched your bios setting video and was gonna follow it to the T, but realized its a different cpu...the 3900 i believe? Will the exact same settings work?
Have you ever minded with AMD Ryzen 7 5700G? Is it worth it? I can buy 2 new for £400 and or a second hand AMD Ryzen 9 5950x for about £400. Which is better in your option?
I would go with the 3900x if you look at the cost/performance ratio. 3950x has more cores but no actual benefit since the L3 cache is the same. You want a good ratio of L3 cache per core for optimal performance.
@@zacharylewis417 for sure also depends on the coin RTM uses 2mb per thread allowing full 32 threads to mine while haven uses 5mb so max out at only 16 threads on a 3900x and a 3950x

Dont loose the plots as its all on the hard drives and the new plots are made to be able to swap around which is why it was recommended to replot to the new system so you can move them from pool to pool.
