#2 Total immersion, don't study using English (which isn't even my native language)

Pienso que estudiar sin inglés es un método muy útil para pensar y formar frases en un otra idioma. Estoy aprendiendo italiano, español, y japonés y trato de usar menos inglés que el otro idioma
Tengo el mismo problema. El idioma nuevo se pone mi nuevo bae y tengo ganas de pasar tiempo con ese idioma solamente. 😂 Y obviamente tu portugués ha mejorado. Veo ads en portugués en tu canal ahora. 🤣

Rickie, forgive me if you’ve answered this question before, but should you start speaking right away? I’ve been doing a lot of listening, but not a lot of speaking.
Yes, you definitely should!! Asap. Listen, and speak. There's no right or wrong way, but I find it effective to just talk about whatever with the little knowledge I have. It encourages me to become more fluent.

Do you teach spanish as fast as you speak? I'm new to your channel. I know you've been speaking spanish for some time and since you've become fluent do your students have a hard time following?
When i first started watching Ricky i couldn't understand what he was saying. A year later after learning a bit and listening to him i can understand 90% of what he says even w/o paying attention.

Depends on your level. For beginners, and intermediate no. For advanced students I speak like I normally speak and it's easy to converse.
