Seems like a cool mouse I don't know much about specs I see this one is 1000hz and I see many being 2k and even 8k like viper models so I this still good?

I appreciate xtrfy very much for always trying something new.. MZ1, M4, M42, M8 everything is different from each other. I had same experience with M4 and MZ1 where it took some time to get used to the mouse and its grip
This mouse seems dope AF. I love the port location. I imagine it helps alot with weight biased.

I'm really looking forward to this mouse, I am worried that it's an ambi and I typically don't go for those kind of shapes. But the shape is pretty fascinating, and I'm eager to see how those buttons feel.

I thought the same thing and I love it!!! At first I was like no no but I used it for a couple days and this thing is a killer mouse!!! My go to mice was kone xp(modded) and lamzu but this mouse is special 🙌

I would probably say more claw than anything, I liked to pull this mouse back into my palm many times.

on my m4 (on others aswell) the scroll wheel gets stuck in a position where it just randomly scrolls, hope they fixed it.

Great reviews! I don't know if it's growth or you made some concious changes, but I've really been enjoying your content lately. This is informative, and has a personal angle that I really like. I don't have to agree with you, but I get to hear a full and complete perspective different than mine and this is really helpful when we, as consumers, try to evaluate if the product is a good fit for us. Great job man.
As for the M8 specifically, I think this is the kind of mouse I'm looking for. I main the M42w, I love it, but I sometimes feels restricted to specific grips. The fact that you mentionned how this shape allows you to use different grip styles in different game phase resonate a lot with me. I'm an Overwatch player and this happens all the time (especially as a DPS) and I think this is the mouse I've been looking for.

I felt myself leaning towards the trends, how to review a product style. This is not and has never been my style or way, so I am getting back to my core, where I may ramble and go a bit more into details than most would care about, but me as a viewer and tech fan would like that stuff. Pre ordered just to support xtrfy ..products have always been amazing quality for me from my wired m42-wireless m42 - mz1...just want the m42 to get the pro treatment. Remove rgb ..smaller battery..get that weight down

Yeah, I love them too. They seem to take more chances with shapes, colours and customizable products. I do wish for a wireless M4 without holes or RGB.

everyone complaining about the charging port... just charge it after your gaming session you can leave your mouse plugged to any usb port and gets charged, you can plugged while watching youtube. like.. 75 hours..

A little short but IMO the shape ain't new. It's highly Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 1.1a which has always been my fav mouse. Just wish they would have made it ambi.

How is the click latency? According to RTINGS the M42 has 7.4 ms and the MZ1 has 7.1 ms of click latency. The GPX has 3.4 ms and the Razer DAV 3 Pro has 2.2 ms. I really hope the new XTRFY M8 Wireless can be competetive in click latency.
I want them to make an ergo version of this, mainly because I just want a logitech m705 with all the tech for gaming.

Charging port in on the side is a deal breaker for me based on how I hold the mouse, was interested until then. Not sure what they were trying to do with that idea but it isn't in the way of it's in the traditional position.

The position of the charging port is not at all innovative and there is a very good reason every mouse with a port has the port in the same place. Doing something in a new but worse way is not at all innovation, but rather regression with an extra step.
"Innovative" is the fact you don't have to install some bloatware that always crashes and collects your data just to set your DPI or LOD. I really like that about all the XTRFY products.
People are just going to have to make it a habit to charge their mice every 3 days of use.

@@TheTechne I have a small table and I had lot of scenarios I need to charge in the middle of a RANK game and THAT cable will certainly drag or will get caught up when you swipe it to the right UNLESS you have a mouse bungee.

I think the charging port is fine, never have I ever run out of battery on a mouse while using it. Unless you are gaming for 14 hours at a time, no one should. And then at that point, the amount of gaming is more of a problem lol
