I'm curious about the pure air, because the Kone Pro Air was maybe my favorite ergo shape. They downsized it though, which has me a little skeptical of it.
Gonna be nice when Amazon Warehouse has these used for a big discount. Seems to be the trend for TB/Roccat products after awhile. Got my wired Kone Pro for $15 and Elo Air headset for $35. Hope these mice have improved on the scroll wheel issues previously.
I've never heard about Turtle Beach before the acquisition. But Roccat I've known for almost as long as I've known about logitech and razer. I even remember seeing their mice at a physical store.
I have preordered the mouse, man that is a light one. I had the burst wired, and I like the shape very much. Great mouse for banger price for just 100 bucks at 47 grams. Take white one...
Hey techne in your video about the Artics Nova 5 you mention something about a windscreen pop filter improving the sound of the mic. And I was just wondering which particular windscreen pop filter are u taking about and if it’s no problem could you also put link to them as well.
LETS GO!! Check out turtle beach line up. They have a good variety of budget and high end peripherals. I think they could add a budget friendly keyboard and a high end mouse. Then they would have a really solid line up
Higher polling rates actually create a lot of issues in different pc systems. I had massive fps drops due to it when moving the mouse on a 5900x. It stresses the cpu depending on the model and also needs to be supported by the game. i think even a lot od pros still using 1000hz for inconsistency reasons. Otherwise nice review 👍
I had major game engine slowdown using 4k or 8k with my 5600x as well. 1k and 2k work perfectly fine. For me it didn’t seem like the frames were dropping, the games just moved slower. I.e. it would take more distance on my pad to move on 4k to the same point than it did at 2k
I'm really bummed with my Burst 2 Air. My right click pops like crazy and almost feels like it's sticking. I had that issue with some of my old Bursts as well. I'll probably just have to exchange it. I do really like my new Vulcan II TKL Pro, though. Fantastic keyboard so far.
I like your voice more when you reviewed the driver 😅 I know It's probably from a headset microphone. Sounds more rough :P Thanks Techne for the video!
@the techne Is it possible to review and test the sonos ace in June? It is not an gaming headset at all. But it has special features and the signature sonos sound. So it is interesting to see if these headphones can be used for surround sound in gaming. In case they are performing well. I would like to see an in depth comparison video with the astro a50x and the sonos ace. Another selling point of these sonos ace headphones is that they switch instantly from the sonos arc if you want to. So that is an big win if you can use both for gaming. I love the astro a40. I recently sold them because It is outdated in terms of connectivity. I didn’t game for 5+ years so I can’t use them anymore in the future unless I spend another 100-200 euro on hdmi 2.1 audio extractors. I am patiently waiting for an gen5 release. They just need to add earc in the mixamp. Basically an hdmi audio extractor built in. The downside about these is that they are very bad for music and quit big. I also sold my pioneer hdjx10. Because I didn’t like them. I was waiting for an all in audio device or 2 separate products. While the astro a50 x is not suitable for music. The sonos ace can be an side solution till the astro a40gen5 comes out. I don’t need the astro directly so I can wait. But if sonos has good performance then I maybe don’t need to buy astro at all anymore. Or at least not on day one. In case the sonos works nice with gaming (tempest engine and Dolby atmos) then I will buy them soon. In case they are not that good for gaming then I probably won’t buy them at all. Because for 500 euro I can rather buy an headphone dedicated to music wired. Still I am thinking about the sonos ace or the astro a50x in case I buy an console again in period x. Complex situation. But your review and in depth comparison would help a lot with this. Because most RUclipsrs are just paid, hyped or materialists. Instead of being passionate and actually knowing the product. I will subscribe here on this channel. I hope that you can answer those unquestioned answers by making an video about it in the future. Thanks in case you read whole this text 🤦♀️🧘♀️🤝. Michael
@@garethg8226true. But these are Dolby atmos capable and have lossless audio. It is something that they are proud of. It can be marketing and poker. But we are speaking about sonos. Their signature sound is quit premium. But then again. Those soundbars have indeed earc or WiFi. So I don’t have that many hopes for sonos ace. But I have way less hope in an new astro a40 gen5 release😂🤦♀️. As I said. An side solution. There is off course one more route. That is the audeze maxwell. But these are quit heavy. So I don’t know if these are worth it. Just want to see the sonos ace in an review from an passionate RUclipsr instead of an Hyped or paid RUclipsr.
Had no idea the vulkan 2 pro was a HE keyboard. Definitely curious now how that one is. For sure won't cancel my 80he pre-order for it but still should be fun to see
The Vulcan 2 TKL pro in my opinion is great coming from a K100 its very smooth and much quieter in my opinion i enjoy the extra space on my desk as well was gonna switch to the Kone XP Air but theres no charge n play or toggle for the scroll wheel like the G502 X Plus which i currently am using. Hey @TheTechne do you think you can review the Kone XP Air to the G502 X Plus and also review the Hyperx audio mixer?
can you do a review on the turtle beach kone xp air and Turtle beach Vulcan II mini air keyboard? and also are those things i mention are they compatible for xbox series x?
can you do a review of the ninjutso sora v2, its wireless, 1khz wireless but is getting a dongle for 8k, has a shape similar to the maya, atlantis, x2h and most claw grip mice, its 39g with no holes polycarbonate shell with a 3395 sensor.
Just put in a gpu into my pc that I can do 1080p gaming with, will this mouse and keyboard keep me from getting shredded? I can't believe the difference between my apex and fortnite lobbies!!
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz was my first sound card. Glad to see they are still around and actually acquiring other companies.
I'm curious about the pure air, because the Kone Pro Air was maybe my favorite ergo shape. They downsized it though, which has me a little skeptical of it.
This
literally like a glove
It's a great mouse, but if they made the back right side not flare out and be more symmetrical. It would be better
Dont get it lots of people are saying its build quality is trash unlike the burst 2
Well it’s a lot lighter and doesn’t have holes. Of course the build quality has to be worse unlike the 81 gram burst pro air
Gonna be nice when Amazon Warehouse has these used for a big discount. Seems to be the trend for TB/Roccat products after awhile. Got my wired Kone Pro for $15 and Elo Air headset for $35. Hope these mice have improved on the scroll wheel issues previously.
RIP roccat

Turtle Beach has been around for a very long time, their headsets are very popular by console users. I think this is their switch to PC gaming.
US is not the world
you are increadible mate with your review. so long you make those video for us . greatt jjob

The grips that come with the burst could help eliminate the sliding especially for those that sweat a good bit
looks like an upgraded and a bit bigger Xtrfy M42, the shape looks similar

Any pinging with the new keyboard?

Those headphones are Bluetooth though no? Bluetooth doesn't play well for gaming unless mobile gaming maybe.

Noooo 🥺 why they remove/re-branding the brand Roccat?
Faide would probably use this mouse together with his turtle beach headphones.
Nice video. The Burst 2 Air is very similar in shape to the Waizowl Cloud.

Hey techne could you recommend me a headset, i was looking for a wireless headset for ps5 with a badget of around 130/150 euro. Thanks
THATS A 3395 ODER 3950 SENSOR?
Omg that backward sensord, total fail
looks interesting to try

These have a new improved version
There are probably 100 different mice i would buy before a turtle beach
for this price definitely, but if it was 50$ ?
