DUDE! haven't been checking review videos for a while and i just came back to your channel and damn u upped to production value with the heat camera for example. that's cool stuff man! glad to see u grew out of those humble beginnings. all love.
Seconded. Originally started with a Kone Pure, then Kone Pure Owl-Eye, and then Kone Pro. Took a chance on this Pure Air and it's perfection for me. The Kone Pro was great but always slightly too big. This fits me to a T.
I originally used a Kone Pure, then Kone Pure Owl-eye, and then a Kone Pro. The Kone Pro was great but the size was a touch too big vs the previous Kone Pure mice. Recently, I gave the Pure Air a shot and it fits in my hand perfectly. It's the exact size I wish the Kone Pro would have been. I like the more compact thumb buttons compared to the Kone Pro and the main mouse clicks actually feel slightly better to me. My only knock is the feet... I wish they went with the full size feet of the Kone Pro or made the ones they used slightly thicker. I had some "scratching" at first but they seem to have "worn" in so to speak.
T, I just bought the TB Vulcan II TKL Pro l, and wanted to wait to open it until you reviewed it. But I broke down, opened it and connected it to my pc. Ngl, I love it too, especially compared to my SS Apex Pro Mini Wireless. Looking forward to your review! 🍻
Techne. Could you please shed some light on a question I have. The Kone Pro Air is my favorite mouse to date. The shape just fits my hand 100%, but the damn encoder on the scroll wheel always breaks after about a year of use where it would register false inputs. Obviously you don't have a years experience with this mouse, but do you perhaps know if they are using the same encoder, because if so it will probably suffer from the same fate as the KPA
@@eglorious-yt hey. I actually had the scroll wheel encoder problem and was able to fix it. however it involves a very involved disassambly, down to the actual switch and contacts in the wheel itself. depending on how handy u are, i could link u to a vid i used
Hey techne in your video about the Artics Nova 5 you mention something about a windscreen pop filter improving the sound of the mic. And I was just wondering which particular windscreen pop filter are u taking about and if it’s no problem could you also put link to them as well.
I've had original Kone Pure (and still have with damaged cable), Pure Owl eye, and Pure Ultra. Then I went with Kone Pro Air, because I wanted to go wireless and I was really satisfied, but the mouse died after a year. I wanted to buy Pure Air, but after few bad reviews I decided to look elsewhere and got Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed and it's better than Kone Pro Air in every aspect, but the coating.
That's something that has disappointed me, it seems like turtle beach isn't offering any of the full sized kone mice, going with only the burst and kone pure shapes. I really hope they roll out a full sized kone mouse in the near future.
great review between the hyper cloud3 wireless and the same but wired there are real differences? for example sound quality or mic output? I have to choose between this two

Got this mouse today. Absolutely love it. The shape is endgame for me and the light weight is the cherry on the top.

Pure Air was supposed to be the successor of the Kone Pure Ultra... but they failed to implement everything Roccat was known for
kone pure ultra was the best mouse of all time for me. the pure air is dogshit in comparison. RIP

Is this the same shape as the old KPU (Kone Pure Ultra)?

Great review as always! 👍🏼
Coming from someone who usually uses simetrical mouses, that looks like a comfortable shape.
