As a m8 user for more than a year, I can tell you the side wire is genius. The cord is very light and when playing while charging, I can't even tell if it's plugged or not. I can't stress how good of a product this was. I'm really exited for the m68. Not available on their website when writing this...
Yep, this is great, you can do this on most wited mice by drilling a hole in the shell and re routing the cable inside which I did on my ec2a. You can find it first documented by "the solid lad" on youtube
Specs got incredibly good till the 3370. I just found the 3395 is back to a sensor that can't properly track in any surface, has to be hard like the g440 or it will mistrack every now and then, the laser sensor of the mouse I had in 2010 was a lot more flawless tracking, any surface, just uniform color.
Every mouse I like I never get a new version. My top favorite shapes are the m42 viper mini and mz1. I just want a solid wireless shell in those versions. Or at least get rid holes on side.
good review but i feel like shiny surface of the table and lights in that direction make it little blurry or unfocused its hard to see all details of the mices :)
The mouse buttons sound clicky to me. I hate clicky mice. I much prefer the ones that have a soft click that you can barely hear, if at all. The soft click mice are also easier to rapidly click.

Wheres the m42 v2 😢
I think your lighting setup is too harsh - it washes out the white mouse making it very difficult to see.

It's interesting you mentioned that Razer causes Hickcups. I see hickcups with my Stream Deck when using some Razer products so I stay away from them.
Im getting my CHERRY XTRFY M68 today, I wanna test is so bad!
