    I 100% vote for more stratigraphy. You're the only creator that talks about it in depth and love it

    I was waiting for the tide to go out when you arrived! Thank you for the graphic showing the different material layers, i really hadn't understood that. Time was against me and i didn't venture along the beach as far as you but it looks like it was worth it for the good finds!

      It was a hard day indeed. A few finds at least but it is the end of the Easter holidays. Good to meet you

    I love that stratitigraphy. Stratatatititigraphy? Stratatatatattatititigraphy? Stratatatatittytittytititigraphy?

    I know I should have been spotting the dac, but got distracted by the ridge that looks like a keel on the big rusty nodule above and to the right of the dac at 13:43

      I think it must be a pseudo fossil as I went over that area pretty thoroughly

      @@fossiliferous I don't doubt it, just funny what the eye sees on video vs in person

      @dinoskool indeed it is. I did look back and at first glance it does look like a big keel. I would have definitely spotted that if it was haha

      I usually use super glue but I think you can use the paraloid as well.

    Where did you get the image of the zones and subzones from?

    • @nirvanamadpaul
      @nirvanamadpaul 4 месяца назад

      Not identical but Dean lomax has a book called yorkshire fossils which has the layers and locations in.
      Got a copy last week, took a little over an hour to read it but has the info your looking for (£15ish)

      There's lots of public domain diagrams on the Internet if you search for Cleveland basin stratigraphy.
