Ran out of DUKWs at mine, should have got it when I saw it. Usual Spits,Tigers and Shermys plus a nice Revell Porsche and the Mayflower. Would like to have got the Jag pace car to see what those builds are like
Cheers Gary. Scored a couple of spitfires last week. With The Mayflower and Titanic I felt Southampton was well represented. 8-) ( Rob from Southampton)
Hi Gary I got the Titanic and the E-Type Jag from Lidl in goole great deals both kits in very good order neither had been opened and all present and correct. PS thank you for advising on here first…… SR
At port talbot: Managed to get the dukw, the only one of the small kits left. As for the revell cars I got the last three there: Mcclaren 570S Porsche 911 carrera 3.2 coupe (g-model) Jaguar E type But the last 2 weeks they've only had the mayflower + victory left and no sign of restock.
I went in mine last night (16.12.24) and they still had lots of all the Airfix kits left. There were a couple of the silver Porsche and orange McLarens left, the Martini Porsches had all gone. All the ships were still there & most of the Quickbuilds were too. Either they've restocked the shelves from the back, or things just didnt sell that well this time around. Maybe they should have done a different selection, e.g. Bf109 and/or Hurricane instead of the Spit and maybe a Churchill and Panzer III or IV instead of the Firefly & Tiger.
Got the huge amount of modellers in the first time round that gives us the hobby we have now. Modelling is about modelling, challenges as well. We are waaaay to spoilt now. Nice kits for a bit of fun after indepth focusing on other things. It's a business at the end of the day
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Does anyone out there know why there are people like this? I mean, what is the motivation for being offhandedly mean and callous to others? No one is strapped down and forced to watch this. Do people not have some thing more important to be getting on with? It's such a sad way to live.
Sad spoilt gits. It was the kids of the 70s that got this hobby really going so why should we apologise for liking some nostalgia. Today gen think they own everything. Having an opinion doesn't mean it matters. Modelling was always about creativity and being inventive. Now there's a little of everything and spoilt wingers who can't file a bit of flash off
I know! Its not as if the tittle doesn't tell them what to expect. If I see something on YT that doesn't interest me, I don't view it. Pretty simple. I don't watch it and then have a big, old sooky moan. There are lots of pouty children out there disguised as adults.
Gary's channel so guess he can film what he likes. The title said it all. Despite the week being over there's still some kits about, nothing wrong in that.
Last night the Lidl in Laindon near Basildon store had all of the kits including the E-Type.
I have got myself the Mayflower - a beautiful kit😊
Our Lidl had one spitfire and a revell Mayflower left today.
My local had the Ravell kits in but they went with in the week but the airfix ones are still in there Nice one fella 🙂👍✌️
There’s a few of the Revell kits up on Vinted… Sellers there are wanting £30+ for them! 🤣
I got the E-Type and the Mayflower here in Plymouth last week. Must go back and try and get the McLaren and the Porsche.

Hi Gary. Wouldn't have minded the getting the E-type. That's a good price. Over 70AUD/35GBP down here. Cheers Matt.

I got a dukw and a Porsche at my local lidl

I bought the Spitfire and Revell Mayflower the other week, my local Lidl (Witney Oxfordshire) still has a few Airfix kits left
Jeeze, carefull! That blue suv thingy nearly clipped you!
I picked up the spit mk1a as I've never actually built one, when they dropped in store.
They were all gone within a few days.

But do they have the foot long pigs in blankets yet Gary?
I managed to get the last E-Type from one of the local branches last week...
...
Its the same old kits every year.....and people are posting on the model sites like they're rare as hens teeth...lidl need some up to date kits....
Having a vintage kit, the Dukw, included wasn't a great idea IMHO. Putting out a kit from 1966 isn't going to get anyone new into the hobby IMHO.

JHC How many vids do you have to do on these shops.
I don't think Jesus's has done any
@@RedViking2020 I think he's a bit more of an Aldi guy 😄

Use a unicorn. They are very helpful

Just don't get why some people seem to get off on just being negative.

Read video title....Not for you?....watch something else.
Well that was a pretty pointless video really.

And so was the comment!
