The Radahn summons to me are like the bracelets in the Wolnir fight in DS3.
Yeah it makes it easier, but it's a one off gimmick for that fight that fits the lore.
or the yhorm fight although that wasn’t too hard without stormbringer
The summons honestly made the fight harder for me; I tested them a bit, but I'll give it a go on a pacifist run, because that seems hilarious.
Dunno, there is something refreshing about seeing someone not rushing this.
Radahm was one of the first bosses I killed in this game as I got super sidetracked early. Right after talking to ranni, Who i got to very early, I did the castle and fought him. Let me tell you, killing this dude at level 40 was insanity, and instantly became my favorite boss in the series.

I don't think using the Radahn summons is 'extra help', they're supposed to be a part of the fight and are lore friendly. (Can't say more for spoilers)

All those sweet subs and still rocking the clacky generic controller lol. Really enjoying your playthrough. First soul streamer I've seen sit back and take the game in.
Grimmmz has been taking it in too and his streams have been fantastic. Hes doing a no vigor run for his first playthrough. Hes almost finished now but hes gotta be at 150hours or more by now.

I used Mongol tactics to beat Radhan, horse and bow. Made it a lot easier.

He needs to upgrade his crimson tears. He's only on +4 and has a bunch of sacred tears in his inventory. Would make life a lot easier.
I love the game so much! finished my first playthrough within 90h today and now I was able to beat Radahn on a new char before I even entered Margits arena. I like to play the first run legit, but cheesing the hell out of the game is so much fun :)

I am watching day 6 right now and I am really surprised by how easily distracted you are like it almost physically hurts seeing you run past your runes where you we killed. I understand the effort following chat and responding but then again you should not be surprised that don’t got any souls/runes on you. Appreciate the content though! Keep it up
Who cares about the runes. They give you way too many as it is

I get that watching a first playthrough 1 year later is going to be a tad frustrating, BUT saying you want to explore for yourself and then just racing around areas randomly while not paying attention to anything, because you are chatting to chat NON-STOP, is kinda extra painful. Maybe just adjust your attention ratio slightly towards the game and away from chat, at least on a first playthrough…and you talk through every single bit of dialogue.

Squil do you regret slow playing it relative to most people because almost everyone is further than you and it seems like you spend half the time dealing with people spoiling things for you. It's irritating to me and I'm not even the one dealing with it lol.

I deleted my comment because i said something stupid and very spoiler heavy sorry for the confusion caused by my rudeness
I beat it in 55 hours all main story quests done for all great runes and i did all side quests minus dilious 'dont think he has a clear ending rn and i didnt do the church guy that yells for you when in the open. Other than that i seemed to have finsihed everything found all graces and bosses so idk i think you can beat it in under 60 hours for everything, How so many people are over 100 for 1 playthrough confuses me.

lol you didnt find all the graces or dungeons buddy. go back to fextralife and check again once its updated.
Shit I use fextra when I don’t really feel like wandering around and want a clear purpose like a specific weapon or talisman or I’ve been trying to find someone for specific for a build I wanna try. After all I bought the game should be able to get my monees worth any way I see fit amirite? I beat it in like 70 hours because I used the bird farming strat and got a little over leveled I still struggled with bosses but not to the extent that I would have if I didn’t use it. Think you should check squillas stream sometime he’s said before how everyone is entitled to playing the game how they see fit. 🤷♀️
