- This video shows you several ways you can still use your Netflix subscription at a second home.
It has also been said that you could use Meshnet from Nord to create a single network, however, I understand that Netflix do not allow the use of a VPN, so this is unlikely to work, but let us know in the comments if you have tried this.

At this rate imma set up a RAT pc at home (logged in to Netflix) and then I can control it from wherever I want to be. But this whole situation is super anticonsumer considering their old marketing material was in support of “sharing passwords”! I’m not even trying to share, just want to access my account from a different household
You should be able to access your own account, you may just need to verify yourself occasionally.

Not sure if you have an update about this, but Netflix is classifying a household by the internet connection now. TVs now all need to be on the same network to be considered the same household. A roku/firestick would still use the local wifi connection, so a different IP at the second home. My daughter shares time between me and her dad. There are just 3 of us and it's ridiculous that my daughter can't watch Netflix at both houses. I think Netflix has to admit this was a bad idea. They aren't considering all of the problems this "same network" method causes. They didn't think of a lot of things. There are too many other streaming services now to put up with this.
Sorry, rant. Just wondering if you've found a solution to the network issue.
I'm in the same boat but the problem is people with legitimate logistical needs seem to have been the minority - apparently a lot of people were just sharing logins illegally. As such, Netflix subscriptions spiked when they introduced these changes so I doubt they were be going back on it. It sucks because adding the additional profiles for both houses will be more expensive than a second subscription, and a second subscription means no continuity between the two places (continue watching from the point you left off, etc). They really ought to have a mechanism that would allow us to show proof of residency for both addresses.
So how does a child who stays at families houses and can’t watch Netflix on their device because of this stupid rule. I don’t remember giving Netflix the authority to check my IP address either
I am afraid all the services are starting to clamp down on sharing, Disney + just announced they are following in Netflixs footsteps.

Wow. Entitled much? It's two different households. You and your husband don't live together. Why should one of you get a free Netflix account? One of you owns the account, not your daughter. People without kids would just say "I have a child that is with their other parent part of the time. Let us use the same account in two houses!" Quit whining and one of you stop being a cheap ass and pay for your own account.

It says about the device not being in the household and can use it for two weeks at a different address. If I’m not at home I can’t use it which is crazy as the whole point of using on my mobile is because I’m not at home. Any help appreciated.
@@belindaellis8709It should work as long as no-one else is using it at your home or if you can use it at home at least once every two weeks, if you are permanently away from home then you will need a separate subscription.
@cwtek1 this is ridiculous! I have 2 houses and 1 house my mom watches Netflix and the second house that I'm at sometimes, I now can't login because it's not a "Household TV. " absolutely ridiculous!

@@Timothytrozzobut you'll lose whatever profiles you have, including watch history etc. And if you got a deal on your plan by paying for a year, or special promotion, you can't get that back.
