Is this Foldylock 90 identical in strength to the “Foldylock Forever?” On their website, the Forever model has a gold ring around the keyhole but this one has a red ring around the keyhole. I’m confused by this difference. Also the package does not say “Foldylock Forever” but on their website the name of the product is “Foldylock Forever”. Can anybody clear this up for me? I order a Foldylock Forever online from a third party seller and I received this same model with the red ring. I was expecting the gold ring and I’m trying to figure out if the seller ripped me off.
Yes, his videos are very interesting. Although I struggle to imagine your average low-life bike thief having the skills, equipment or patience to pick a lock. More a matter of making the bike a less obvious target to a thief equipped with anything less than a battery angle grinder and the nerve to use it in a busy area.
In the end, I realised I could mount it on the frame. All I had to do was partially fold the frame by a few degrees to slide it into its mounting box. But you are right, they are heavy.
The ONLY folding lock in the world with an ART 3 approval! That means it is officially the strongest folding lock in the world.

We would love to see the lockpicking layer's test
I said the same thing trying to get it out of the packaging. 😀
Interesting - thanks. Do you think, with a pole like that, you could lock both your estarlis with one lock?
You might be able to lock 2 together but only if they were really close together either side of the pole. I think in practice you would struggle
@@SteveSallyandSmokey Useful - thanks.
I have one of those locks, they're heavy, could maybe put velcro strap thru holder and then round handlebar tube ?
