Fun fact! In Minecraft story mode the farlands were actually a plot point. In them there was a lot of weird stuff like infinitely falling stone blocks, voids out of nowhere and more weird stuff.
True
It’s cool that Mojang acknowledged a glitch
It makes me ask why Mojang removed the farlands if its in minecraft story mode
Thanks for all the likes.
@@stephaniekrebs8983because story mode wasn't made by Mojang, it was made by telltale
As a console builder they need to bring back buttons and levers on walls and fences. It was something artistic that did no damage.
God, the tutorial world was my childhood. As a wee lad, I remember playing on my PS3, always playing the Tutorial over and over because I didn't even try going through the Nether to actually beat the game.
I was always scared of the environment and worried about dying to practically everything.
I remember that little tower in the distance, and how I memorized where it was by a floating platform, lol.
Any time I played it, I felt like a pro, knowing all the basic things of what I can do and how to do them. Such amazing times....
I remember my cousin, my sibling, and I all playing one of the earliest tutorial worlds. There was a castle and we'd pretend to be royalty. My cousin showed me a hidden door behind a painting and it blew my mind.
I also remember watching my other older cousin play the first tutorial with a friend. His friend told him to jump down a certain hole, and that the red colour at the bottom was redstone. He jumped down and died in lava, which was hilarious to us when we were 9. I think my cousin knew it was lava but jumped in to make us laugh.
Incredible times :>
7:02 In bedrock, if you use Minecraft Classic Texture Pack, the Zombified Piglins turn into Zombie Pigmen, which could mean that Zombie Pigmen weren’t removed from the game after all.
He said without the netherack texture
Thanks
wait zombie pigmen was removed???
@@Edvit40 That’s what he said at 7:02.
@@Edvit40 was never been removed, they just textured pigmens and made piglins which is different entity
I would love it if they made the zombie villages modeled after the old villages
Piggy villagers 😂😂😂
addons left the chat
that would be so cool you're a genius
They should definitely do that right now!
The old Minecraft tutorial world part gave me such nostalgia. I remember the tutorial worlds before the castle one, with walls made of smooth stone slabs and oak planks.
I still have the old minecraft tutorial on my Xbox 360. So it's not gone just yet.
I wish they come back
@its_analyze7080 I think I still have it as well tho not 100% sure I can access it
I don’t get how Notch apples are overpowered if you can craft them but totems are totally fine even though you can FARM them.
5:41 I would love to see the return of the Minecraft version of the Hoik glitch, it's fun in Terraria and it looks fun in Minecraft
13:22 "The only time you ever double barrel is on a shotgun" That quote goes so hard
Uh .. Skip, the bundle (as of 1.20.2) is available if you include the experimental data pack at world creation. There IS a recipe for it too. 6 rabbit hide and 2 string.
Makes rabbit hide more useful
edit: *oh*
@@veethebeaniest not in bedrock
@@swarnakamalchandra8647 oh? how can I use hide in bedrock?
@@veethebeaniest”but you can craft leather!1!1!1”
@@ItsRaven69 thanks for the info! :)
Also, they need to bring back the original villagers because their design and textures were very iconic & original to the Minecraft franchise!!! 7:10
They also need to bring back the OG villages
I love his weekly uploads its a bonus to my week
Crafting god apples with the gold farms we have nowadays would be too op. And I’m all for it 😂
For the golden apple recipe. I think that the normal apple should be replaced with a normal golden apple but have the gold blocks surrounding it to make a enchanted golden apple.
lol its funny how u can get nostalgic over the most random of things, those old wool textures remind me of building pixel art in a superflat world as a kid and many other memories alongside it, so nice :)
Timestamp 11:25 - I realize no one talks about the fact that LEATHER HORSE ARMOR CAN BE CRAFTED ON BEDROCK EDITION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The stuff is inherently useless, besides dying it, but the fact remains it is craftable on Bedrock Edition.
I am 99% certain none of these will ever come back, but what we will get is stuff we never wanted
Something I'd love to see return is the legacy crafting UI that was on the old console editions, since that UI was amazing for crafting on a controller, would totally benefit Bedrock, and would be amazing on Java for people who would want to play with a controller if they ever brought native controller support to Java!
I agree
14:20 about the mob/transforming potion, if you had to brew it with a nether star or something similarly difficult to get and then you have to combine it with what that mob drops I think that would be fair and ballanced!!!
I could see Zombie Pigmen returning as a easter egg if lightning strikes a pig. Kinda like how villagers turn into witches and Mooshrooms into Brown Mooshrooms if that happens.
Also you can craft leather horse armor still!
A feature I always wanted to see return is the ability for cobweb to turn projectiles to their item form. This was removed because players could make witch farms and acquire various splash potions. However, a solution I always preached is to make it so items don't fall when they're trapped in cobwebs as well as making so hoppers or players can't pick them up. That way witch potion farms or any other cobweb based farms are obsolete.
Hopper Minecarts would still work
Mojang's no fun policy
I just want the old music back
Props to the cameraman that went to the Minecraft World and recorded everything
8:18 classicube actually has these!
I remember playing the tutorial map in Minecraft. I didn’t really do much there, though. Mainly went to the castle, market centre and the Stampy reference.
making this 63 instead of 64 is such a missed opportunity
Why 64
fun fact: bedrock on console does have a screenshot effect literally just press the screenshot button on your controller
26:18 they actually still do it, it’s just super rare
(18:09) You can also remove the darkness in caves if you have a night vision potion.
True
Or just use bedrock…
you can use potions of healing to regenerate your health
4:01 it'd make it near impossible to get the heads from a charged creeper explosion though
not near, just more hustle trap them in the 2*2*2 would be enough
@@tungieuhoa5509 oh yeah, i didnt think about that
Why did they remove the ability to customize your super flat world? It was amazing
9:45 Fun fact Mojang recently made Shader support build in Minecraft Bedrock Unfortunately its still in beta They are still working on it to optimaze performance for mobile players and more...
Where?
16:01 4 major updates now
Yo skip the tutorial, you can morph into mobs with a few easy commands
super secret setting filters are still in the game, they are the filters that show up when you spectate a mob in spectator mode, that's also why all of them were trippy
I played Minecraft a ton as a kid, at least up until 1.8. Only recently some friends of mine convinced me to play Minecraft again with them, and let me say, I was _so_ confused about why I couldn't craft Enchanted Golden Apples.
heres a fun fact!: barrier blocks can be obtained in bedrock, but some people just dont know. played on bedrock for my whole entire life! but moved to java..
yes java better
11:15 you can still craft leather horse armor
BRING BACK GETTING WOOD ACHIEVEMENT!!!
17:19 ahhhh THE OLD TUTORIAL WHERE me and my sis happily played. We also build bases in the Other Old Tutorial World. Where its kinda weird bases XDDD but, i'll be happy to want to bring it back❤.
I would love if they brought back the old villages I wish that both the new and old villages would generate so you have options
I would be down for a FARLANDS world type.
2:59 if 2013 is recent in your book
17:19 i have that tutorial world still! Sadly something happened to where everything turned a grass block green color hue but its still fun to look threw. :)
The quiver is such a wasted idea.
Especially now, since we have many different types of arrows, the way the shot arrow is selected is very unintuitive.
If we had a quiver slot, which then opened an arrow slot, that could be a way to choose which arrow type to prioritise.
i miss the minecraft minigames that used to be on consoles.
Actually we do have a sort of pig man NPC that’s the regular bartering piglin
I cannot stop myself from realising how much the Tutorial World carried my console childhood :I
12:03 fun fact, the farlands have made appearances officially in minecraft, or at least minecraft story mode
Just letting everyone know, you can use almost every education edition function in base bedrock edition, the only I can think of that isn’t there is the Agent mob, you can get NPC’s through summoning, and all the chemicals are in creative. The heat block was actually removed from education edition a few years ago, I know because at one the schools I went to we were allowed to play education edition.
This is also available on the switch and pocket edition
24:21 I feel like this reminds me of something...
Don't starve
Spam g in chat guys only old Minecrafters will understand
craftable enchanted golden apples NEEDS TO BE BACK!!!
Oh this brings me back.
* me taking note so i can make my voxel game better *
I love the technoblade tribyte thingy at 2:42
I just love the 'goat" clips were all the mobs get attempted butt-headed
28:15 Even Jeb was disappointed
Did you know Mojang devs are coded to have a heart attack if they work more than 30 minutes a week?
Hahahaahhha, damn. Yeah, I can see that
I really want the floating islands back
3:50 I'm a software developer, so when I say your intuition is dead-on, I know what I'm talking about :)
Skip you dont know how badly i wanted to Play the Tutorial world
Do you know how Terraria has shimmer liquid? Basically, it's a liquid that gives special variations of items when specific items are dropped in. I would love to see some variation of that in Minecraft. It would be a cool way to get some of the older wool colors, 6-sided pistons, etc.
Bedrock is going to get shader support soon...
bro im remember clicking the super secret setting and say WOW IM UPSIDE DOWN XD
actually iron golems do still have a small chance of showing you or a villager a poppy (i don't know if this applies to bedrock as well seeing that i play java) and it can also hold out a poppy to you! It's a fun gimmick i like to try whenever i find a village.
Random fact I discovered: Did you know that if a Zombie turns into a Drowned after it's damaged by a player, it will heal back to full HP?
Tutorial worlds without a doubt need to be brought back
I like the Wildfire better than what's shown in number 59. I also like the phantom, who just randomly dives underwater and could make for a great minecraft zoo animal in an aquarium.
Think about it. Pigmen could fight for you…Zombified Piglins attack you? I. Smell. LOOOOOOOORE!
I wish that pigs struck by lightning would still create a Zombie Pigman to keep them in the game
2:00 The quiver texture is in bedrock texture packs still :)
The guy accidentally seeing the farlands in survival is nothing less than a god.
I really miss the good old days of minecraft :')
I would love to see a Universal Parody Update where all major versions (Java, Bedrock, Education Edition, wtc) share their exclusive features
Farlands in bedrock
I'm actually glad they removed the cave fog thing, cause that would just make it SO MUCH MORE AAAAAAAAAAAAYEEEEI when mining.
I remember the old enchanted gapple crafting recipe 😢
17:20 this was my first ever experience with minecraft its so nostalgic
Thing that need to comeback to minecraft 1. Blocking with swords 2. The old F5 (it was goofy and funny) 3. The human 4. The old brick pyramid from infdev
minecraft 1?
Giving armor to dolphins would be cool cause they wouldnt randomly despawn anymore
AYO GET A ROOM 12:49 💀💀💀☠️☠️☠️☠️
Most Of these features i miss :(
Laughing at the Enderman going "Pls stop" at being pelted with ice bombs lol Like "Dude, this isn't doing anything, you're just annoying me, stop."
Also the Education Edition has so many cool things in it, too sad they aren't int he main game, I would love the balloons!
They recently removed the day counter from the F3 menu. I miss seeing what day it was.
Most of these features weren't even removed, the giant zombie briefly had AI added back, and features from other games don't count as removed features since they were never in the game in the first place. Education edition is still a thing, and you can always just go back to the version you prefer on Java. I also don't think any of the things you mentioned that actually were removed should be added back into the game.
Not even Iron Golems giving baby Villagers roses/poppies?
@chocov1233 that wasn't removed, check it rn
The best feature to come back to Minecraft is the ability to run it on a PC smoothly with 1gb Ram.
24:46 minecraft doesn't want you to hire these pigman to be your bodyguard
Don't starve:
honesty those mobs who were out voted in 2017 should still appear in spin off games
man i miss super secret settings i had so much fun with that
2:43 TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES
Gosh i miss him
I miss the tutorials
Nope
5:24 cool bug but if it comes back it needs to be only with sticky pistons it just makes more sense
Skip, make a channel for Skip The Second.
nah it should be skip the cutscene
Did you really use Pokémon X and Y’s Boutique theme????
A man after my own heart.
Tbh the zombie villages or the abandoned villages should use the old villages design
no no no, void fog was awful. it completely ruined the look of a lot if builds down by bedrock and there was no way to prevent it unless you had an opening to the sky. i am so glad its gone
Good 👍 😅😅😅
L take, it was amazing for atmosphere and enhanced a lot of builds as well. Just make it a toggleable setting, problem solved.
1) just... don't build something near bedrock if it wouldn't benefit from the ambience of such deep depths.
2) this was toggleable on the legacy console editions.
People looking at void fog with rose tinted glasses. It was hated back then too. Try searching for "void fog is annoying" and "void fog is great." one of these searches gets a lot more results and includes post of near unanimous agreement. The only results that talk about void fog being good, are people who wanted it added back after the fact. It was awful, I'm glad its gone.
#8
We can do this with other streaming sites too, and this will be awesome
Overpowered skip ❤
You can put potions in a cauldron in bedrock edition
The chemistry from Education edition should straight up be in the main game
