So proud of coach and the team and all they’ve been accomplishing lately.

Byu's biggest strength isn't having older athletes (that definitely doesnt hurt); rather its Coach Ed Eyestone easily one of the smartest and most humble running coaches of all time.

You know what else makes BYU strong? The average age being 23

At least they’re American students unlike OSU.

No, it’s their clean living which is no alcohol, coffee, tea, no coming and no drugs, excellent work ethic and more important than racing is their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Every other team could do the same thing...they choose not to. BYU athletes serve missions which is more an obstacle than a benefit in distance running. Nice try making excuses.

@@baumsquad222 Most of their athletes are Utah runners as well. Not many other successful running programs can say that. Impressive these athletes are just in their backyard.

@@Davbaldwin1 13 of the 27 are from Utah, so there’s quite a bit, more than half from out of state. They are well rounded. It’s also their coach who is very well schooled in cross country as he won four straight NCAA Cross Country Championships and competed in the Olympic Games several times.
