@zikkimeister nope, H&K was an amalgamation of various firearm companies in the post-war world. Thus, you'll see H&K weapons anyway, just under different companies.

Well, the plane is a Dornier Do 31, which had it's real life maiden flight in 1967. If you take into account that in this series (Nazi) Germany won the war and didn't have to spent 5 years under occupation rebuilding it's infrastructure, it's plausible that they finished the development of the plane 5 years earlier, which would be exactly 1962, which is when the series takes place.
The basic fallacy about this series is that the Nazis did not think in Geo-political terms but Eurocentrically. Hitler thought in World War One terms, seeing the conquest of France and Russia as his ultimate war aims. The Nazis had no workable plan for even invading England and put no real energy into it. Nor did they have a navy capable of crossing the Atlantic against an America with three times their industrial plant. Hitler feared America. Similarly the Japanese limited their war aims to co-opting southeast Asia and China into their Greater Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere. They had no wish to go after America and could not support a cross-Pacific invasion of America with their minuscule industrial plant, barely 10% of America's. World conquest by the Nazis and Japan was physically not possible given the political-economy of their nations. It's a fantasy, which is what Hollywood is all about..
I don't know how confident the nazis must be in their empire, because these special forces units look like they were just given a MP5, shown how it works, and just told to run...

The novel explained that The Man In The High Castle is a game master in the real world and the other characters are his friends who accidentally brainwashed themselves listening to him. They woke up in the end. So, he probably based the setting on things he saw in Popular Mechanics.
What novel is that? My copy is about jewelers and has very nothing to do with this show. I got it in the hope it would be similar
Is this lady the actress that played in clear and present danger 1994?
She's a pretty good shot for shooting one handed and moving.
I wonder if they’re still called MP5s
Probably called MP-66
Probably. H&K is a German company, but it probably would be made by Mauser since H&K was the result of the Mauser company having all its assets confiscated at the end of WW2. I was surprised to learn that the MP-5 was designed in the 1960s. I always remember it being the quintessential 90s gun.
great show but the last season deserved better writting.
such a shame
Reichsmarschal , we’v got him.
Sounds familiar.....

Ooooh, cool! The Dornier do31
Wow! Dornier Do31!
Ironic, how America currently appears to be moving in this direction?
How so
@@liquidsorrow Hail MAGA, vote one more Time, then you have never to vote again! Somethings tickling?
lol there was the donier do 31 e 3(first vtol)
I wish they kept John Smith this way, he was best the character in the entire show and then they had to ruin his characters role. Such shame.
John Smith should have been the guy trying to free America from inside the sytem
The 61 Chevy probably wouldnt of look like that if all this was going on
That Do 31 is great
Is that a Dornier Do 31?
Yep
What's that soundtrack in the background 👌🏿 soo dark I like it.
I still really enjoyed it.
Good stuff. !
01:28 - Dam Raymond Reddington...
So grandma took out at least four guys, two while running, with a revolver....I mean for a max of six shots, and it could be five guys, that is some fine shooting.
came for the plane got like 3 seconds of it
Does anyone know that the vtol aircraft is really exists
It does exist. It is the Do 31 VTOL prototype
@@thatoneweeb-wehraboo2424 yes actually some 2 to 3 prototypes were built but due to few engineering defects the project was completely dropped
Thank God we won WWII so we can speculate how bad the alternative would be.
just move on like you do now, and you will go the same way our ancestors did. ALthough there werent an worldwide catastrophe War to warn them in History. Your doing great holding Education of the M
So if you go by aircraft shown this seems more like 1970s a retrofuturistic 1970s but still. But the cars are mostly late 50s early 60s models.
Are these dudes using MP5s? Isn't this supposed to be an alternative WW2 Series
alternate but in 1962
@@gamingguruoz okay makes more sense .. Thank you
The basic fallacy about this series is that the Nazis did not think in Geo-political terms but Eurocentrically.
Maybe the real Man in the High Castle is the friends we made along the way

I wondered what the German X-plane from the 50's was used for.
Hii may I ask which episode does this scene in ?
So much potential, but they decided to waste it by focusing on rebels and alternate dimensions ffs
Hey, he forgot to twirl his mustache when he questioned the old bag that killed more men that Clint Eastwood with a revolver.
My mans literally could have accident shot himself before agreeing to john's terms just so they'd let her live
damn if the do 31 is in this how did they get the harrier engines
They can make one without them.
Imagine a grandma has better aim than a stormtrooper ,working for darth vader, the most feared man in space
I don't know how confident the nazis must be in their empire, because these special forces units look like they were just given a MP5, shown how it works, and just told to run...
American specops. Should have flown in some original german Paratroopers,(google Monte Cassino)of that Time, they would have handled it different. But Hey, its an fantasy setting, so granny can multikill with an nearly penetrating Caliber. I did blend out reality quite soon in the Series, staying on the what if and how would i act Corner, and it gave me an great Flick, only last few Parts were an little bit too rushed and without any real Conclusion.
Anyone see a Red Swingline stapler around?
that sir is Sergeant William Fontaine de la Tour Dauterive! Pride of the U.S. army Barbers Fort Blanda in Arlen, Texas!
i mean i guess its 1 for 1 in realism. We get a guy not sweeping his officer as he walks in front of him, and in exchange we get granny smoking mfs in a dead sprint with a snub nose
*A man has fallen into the high castle in lego city*
This show would have been awesome if we didn’t have to waste time looking at resistance types and could focus more on the technologically advanced, well functioning society it is set in
You can watch this plane in Munich in museum
That old lady Shirley was sf the way she handled herself, surely
grandma is cracked on the sticks
Aw he say it
