Great to see you both again and looking so well. Said before but will say it again … Your dogs are the happiest ever. They love their life. Plenty time to cruise at your leisure. Sorry again about your friend. Keep yourself busy. Take care and keep safe.
What a year it has been with the losses you've suffered. The loss of Rich's father, then sister and more recently your best friend...They say it's unwise to tell someone that you know how they feel, but I can say that I feel for you. I'm very pleased to see you posting again. It is an early Christmas present for me and all of your viewers. Thank you so much for the joy you bring us!
I also feel a real shift at solstice as we turn back towards the light. It is more celebration worthy to me than New Year, which is just a number rather than a change in state. Blessed Solstice to you two. 🌞
I've been missing you sharing with us. I'm so glad that you're back. I live in kansas and this is my way of seeing your part of the world. Thank you for sharing.
Good to see you back life of late has not done us many favours everything seems so upside down but at least we can now look forward to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel no more darker nights,so sorry for the loss of your friend , I attended my dear mum in law’s funeral 2 days ago she had been in my life for 50 yrs such a sad loss made even harder as she will now be with her husband and 2 sons one of them being my husband but life goes on holding on to so many good memories. Take care wishing you all the best.😊
So sorry for your loss of your dear friend, Steve. I am right there with you on the solstice. I love that we're done with the lowest time, shortest day, and now onward and upward. Merry Christmas!
Boy did I miss you two. It like missing apart of life with out you two. Just waiting for your next vlog. Glad to see you again. Stay safe & MERRY CHRISTMAS.
It was good to see the restart of the Vlogs. I completely understand why you needed a pause to the Vlogs. So sorry for your loss Rich and Fran. Mark in Colorado
So sorry for your loss, the pic of Steve is great he looks like a wonderful character, such a great shame. I do hope you enjoy Oxford, Pit Rivers museum is worth a look if you have time ! Your boat is looking absolutely gorgeous, onwards to 2022 ( oh we did Snowdon finally in September I hope you enjoyed it ⛰)
lovely to see you both again really sorry for your loss of your dear friend its very difficult to deal with but you have a lot of support around you take great care and keep well .
Really missed you guys. So good to see you again: worried that things got too much for you to bear or share.... Take comfort that you are a part of so many other families now and we are all ready to support. 😘😘
Very nice to see you both again. Winter on the canal actually looks to be a very beautiful and special time. The red berries on the bushes beside the tow path and the subtle colouring of the leafless trees is very fitting for the solstice, a time of quiet and new beginning. Sorry for your sad loss of a dear friend, I'm not sure that we really get over such things, but love and the pain of loss certainly become part of the rich texture of our life and make us who we are, warm, sometimes a bit battered, but full of humanity. All the very best for the year ahead. Big hugs!
Hi Fran & Rich ~Best friends are very hard to come by, and are a true gift. Even through these really difficult times here in the US, (politically speaking) I've tried to maintain a sane relationship with my dearest friend who seems to like the color orange. I've lost a couple of very close friends, so I understand your pain, and wish you well. I really like the idea of the year beginning on the 12/21. I find this date to be very relaxing. I never could understand celebrating on the 25th. So many questions as a child. Your "front" door looks festive. My father, who was pagan, a Scotsman and a woodsman, (of course, he had auburn hair), would decorate our home with pine needles, pine cones, candles, and such. I just loved it. Living in the country, in a cottage on a wonderful estate was a perfect setting for his craft. Well, I've gone on long enough, so Happy Solstice and healing thoughts to you. xx PS our name was Snedden which is linked to Snowden in some way.
My deepest condolences on the loss of your bestie. I was thinking of you guys this morning and here you are. So glad to see both of you back and I am looking forward to your future vlogs.
Blessings on you two. Glad you're back, but keep taking whatever time you need. Lost my brother last week. This time of year is rough on some folks even without those kind of losses, so let's all just go easy on one another.
Thank you for your log.So sorry for your loss we lost 2 sons in a RTA 23 years ago and it dose not get any better but you live with it.Hope 22 is a better year.Happy new year..
My husband and I have a special fondness for winter solstice as well. It is our wedding anniversary! Great to see you here again and looking forward to exploring Oxford vicariously through you. Merry Christmas and here's to a better new year.
He English Narrow Boaters.. Merry Christmas. Fan. I really enjoyed your Rumble in the bramble. Kitchen. Different.. Xx. Ritch.. Wow.. Wat a walk.. Xxoo.
Hi guys, it's great to have you back. I have had you both in my prayers, Rich because of the passing of his best mate and you Fran because I know that you have been worrying about how Rich was coping with his loss. I wish you both a Happy Winter Solstice, a Merry Christmas and a profitable New year with Frans loom work, take care my friends, stay well, stay happy and above all, stay safe, love and virtual hugs. x
Back in the sixties the lower gates at Uxbridge lock on the GU were replaced over an Easter weekend. Went with Dad to have a look each day. We like to visit Oxford covered market. Sorry for the sad loss of your friend. Seasons greetings.
Lovely to see you bk again. Sad to hear of your friends passing. Merry Christmas to you both, let 2022 bring you much happiness and health. You clearly already have much love with each other 😀
It’s great to see and hear y’all. It’s not yet midnight where I am, so I am sending out a Happy New Year wish! It will be great to again join you weekly, y’all and Archie and Jess. Bye for now.
Looking forward to the trip to Oxford. "Lewis" is why I even know about narrowboats and I love the town and university. Would love to see it for real someday.
So lovely to see you back guys. So sorry for the loss of your best friend. It is a difficult time of year for lots of people, especially those who have lost loved ones. Hope you both have a lovely Christmas and many best wishes for the New Year. Like you said Rich, let's hope it's better than last year. Take care. xx
Really glad to see you back, have missed your lovely vlogs with drone footage and beautiful photos, Time will heal and am sure once you get back into the swing of your travels you will feel more positive, stay safe and well, love your Christmas decorations. Happy Christmas to you XX
Great to see you back and so sorry to hear of your loss. I love your new intro, it really confused the dogs! When the old intro started my three dogs would run at the TV waiting for Jess and Archie to come along the towpath. Jasper would even wake from his sleep. Tonight they were all snoozing so I though, this is great, then when Fran spoke Jasper shot off the back of the sofa towards the TV. I nearly dropped my G&T! Thanks as always for sharing your adventure. Best wishes for 2022.
So very nice to see you both. I love that the days are getting longer and we have spring to look forward to. It seems an especially wonderful thought because of the last two years. Thanks for the videos.
So glad to see you back, you have been missed although we are glad that you have taken some time for yourselves to get over your loss. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures into 2022. Happy New Year to you.
Sorry for your loss Rich. Good to see you both back in better spirits. While your winter Solstice on the 21st of December means your days are going to start getting longer, in New Zealand where I live, it means that our days will now start getting shorter, even before the start of Christmas. So all the best for Christmas and the New Year to you both. Regards from 🇳🇿
Welcome back. I missed you both, all of the best in the new year. My husband's operation went well. They took out the tumour with a portion of his stomach at the top, and about 5 cm of osophagus. He now has another chemo session until mid February. Roll on summer. 🌝
Sending hugs and warm holiday wishes to you folks and your fubabies , we all missed you rich and Fran and can't wait for all the new content when you feel the time is right and when you are mentally ready, 😀 remeber all your friends from around the world are here for you and Sending their love and support . ..merry 🎄 Christmas to you all ....Tom in ohio
