You are so right to be your own advocate for your medical care. Be strong, search for the answers that are best for you, and most of all Thank You for your honesty. As a little old lady who lives in Wyoming USA, I am proud of you.
Aww, thank you! 🤩
Thank you Colin for your honest account of your Experience with your NHS Urologist. I'm a retired NHS nurse. (I'm 74) And things are very different from my days Nursing and I personally have experienced what you have described. Not being listened to
being brushed off. I have severe spinal stenosis and I'm in a wheelchair now. I had to reach out and say thank you for speaking out and highlighting what so many of us are experiencing. I pray you will get the proper treatment you should have had originally. Good luck and be persistent. It's the squeaky wheel that gets the oil. Don't let them fob you off.
Much love Shiela (from Wales)
Thanks Sheila. I hope you’re not in pain? ♥️
It hurts my heart that anyone would be unkind to you. Bless
I wouldn’t suggest they were deliberately doing that, but still…♥️
Know exactly what you mean Colin, i had over 12 months of doctors in A+E and my GP insisting i had a chest infection, i knew something was wrong and i finally got a CT scan. They discovered i had 3 blockades in my heart, its so frustrating when you know something is wrong and nobody is listening. Good luck and get well soon.
I hope you’re okay now? ♥️
This is horrendous Colin. This is nothing short of tragic. Hope you solve both issues quickly. Bless you both
Thanks Robert ♥️
Medical negligence straight away.
Pi&&es me off. Just because someone suffers from mental health it’s all on your head.
I’m so flipping sorry for all what you’ve gone through makes me so angry. Xxx❤
As a medical physicist from Germany for me it is hard to believe that they didn't do a CT scan after the surgery to look how it went. But yeah, things go wrong sometimes and I like your attitude not looking back and cry but looking forward and hope. Best you could do! Hope you can get rid of your ston ASAP and recover. Fingers crossed!
Yes. Even when I asked afterwards, he still said no to a follow up scan. Now I know why 😂
You know what makes pain harder to bear?
Having your pain & your concerns ignored or minimized.
I’m sorry this has happened..is happening to you.
Thank you for sharing because there ARE many of us who have experienced the dismissive attitude of health care professionals.
I hate to say this as an American, who has aways admired your NHS and wished we had similar, but this is a real indictment of your NHS, and it is well deserved in your case. I am SO sorry this has set you back so badly, both personally and financially. Warm hugs to you, wishing you the very best. ❤
Thanks Ralph. x
Sending love and hugs and best wishes for a good solution for your situation. Your GP and Surgeon should be ashamed
This happens in America too. Women, minorities, people with mental health issues = it is all in your head. Here's your bill for $500.
Sending you much love hugs compassion understanding Colin. Your GP and surgeon are frankly a disgrace to their "so called caring profession" . This is blatant criminal neglect of patients and warrants a probe into whether both of them should be struck off by the British Medical Council / Association. This neglect flies in the face of the hypocratic oath they swore at medical school each and every single year of their medical school degree. That oath promises that they will uphold the highest standards of integrity and honesty. You might be able to claim for medical negligence in the courts.
The NHS is just the health insurance. How is this an indictment??
Dear Collin, that pain is pure hell. I been there 2 times, but lucky was given excellent treatment here in Norway both times. Wish you a quick recovery
Thank you 🙏🏻
Oh my God Colin! I'm so sorry for all the pain and this ordeal you had and still have 😢. I keep fingers crossed, that the private urologist will take good care of your kidney and get rid of this stone!!
I had a kidney stone, too, in 2022, such a horrible horrific pain. Due to doctors mistakes I lost the function of my left kidney, and had to endure an ureter stent for 14 month... I always admired you NHS system, but have learned, that it is in a very bad condition nowadays.
I'm following your channel since the early days of NB Silver Fox and will never leave you!! I love you both (and the doggies of course), although we never met, it feels like friendship,
many hugs
Claudia from Munich ❤️❤️🫶
Thank you! I hope you’re okay now?
@@FoxesAfloatyes everything is alright now, thank you, Bless you ❤️
I can not TELL you enough how proud I am of you. Thank you thank you for taking your health into your own hands. I'm a retired nurse. I never go to doctors anymore because they couldn't help or fix my RSD/CRPS. They only wanted to hand over drugs with thousands of side effects. Treatments that caused more suffering. My illness is called the suicide disease. Over 30 people kill themselves daily who have this illness. Many many people don't even find out they have RSD until they are ready to pull the plug on their life. RSD can be external and internal. Most doctors will tell patients that the illness won't spread. But people are cutting off their limbs to try to get free from this kind of suffering.
I’m so sad reading this ♥️
Good luck with your consultation next week, Colin. Best wishes, matey.
Much appreciated
My wife had similar issues with not being believed. Until she changed her GP. She is a different person now. Mind yourself Colin. Your health is your wealth.
Very true ♥️ I hope she’s okay now? x
The most upsetting part of all this is that the NHS, instead of helping you, has actually caused you more pain and distress. Hopefully you will get better treatment now, and find healing! 🤗
Thanks Richard. 🙏🏻♥️
The train barn can wait. Just get yourself the best surgeon you can find so you can start to feel better, mentally and physically. I was in hospital after a bodged bladder operation, a lot of complications and an on call registrar that didn't know how to deal with it. Cut a long story short I had to tell him what to do, his response, " that's a good idea, how do I do that?" If I hadn't told him I wouldn't be here today. It does affect you.
You know your body better than anyone else.
Respect to you.
Wow! That must have been scary! I hope you’re okay now? ♥️
I’m SO very sorry that you had to go through this! As someone with multiple autoimmune diseases, you are NOT alone!! I just received a book I’d highly recommend everybody read: Medical Gaslighting! Sending love and healing from Santa Barbara, Colin!!!
Oh Colin, glad you took this into your own hands. That surgeon needs disciplinary action, so does your gp. My heart is with you.
Thanks so much ♥️
I am so pleased you went the private route. Now you finally have a diagnosis and can get it sorted.
You shouldn’t have to, I know. I’ve had to do similar. Good luck and we will all support you where we can x
Thanks Bev ♥️
WELL!! This explains a lot! I’ve been subscribed for years, and really enjoy your antics …. And miss them! So happy you are able to go out on your own and get help! My one time experience with your NHS was much the same. “We don’t know what is wrong with you, but it isn’t life threatening, so, carry on”. Ignoring pain seems to be an NHS standard. As wonderful as the NHS sounds to some, I’m happy with my US doctors, who have gone to great lengths to discover and treat my problems immediately. Take care of yourselves, Colin & Sean!
Yes! When you said “We don’t know what is wrong with you, but it isn’t life threatening, so carry on”.
I’ve heard that too many times! ♥️
Colin! First hugs to Sean who is watching his love go through this. ANYWAY, you are NOT ALONE. Many years ago, I had some scary symptoms; was going to my PC every 3 months for diabetes and told her. Note that she was so fantastic as PC to Bri and me for years that when our dog passed, she got the board of a rescue she was on to find us another German Shorthaired Pointer. But, changes in her life that we didn't know about were occurring affecting her life. Anyway, one visit, two visits, two years go by. "Nothing wrong!" Then when Dr. was out, her assistant did my appointment; I told her and showed her my problem--she said some nasty and degrading, disgusting, awful comments. Me being raised to respect those in control, finally figured out that I needed to leave. I walked out of the appointment, went back to work. Called another doctor. When she heard my symptoms, she said come first thing tomorrow morning. You may have to wait, but come. When she was doing the exam, she asked if I could go with her ideas and not ask questions yet. Yes! They set me up for some tests, went the NEXT MORNING. That night, she called--If you were my sister, this is what I would do, I have scheduled you with the top surgeon on the East Coast (writing from USA, CT) in NY he has a 6 week wait, but will see you in 4 days and warned that his surgical wait was also six weeks. He did the exam, called that night to tell me my diagnosis was late stage "lady cancer" and scheduled me in three days for the surgery, knowing that he would fit me in his schedule. A 90 minute surgery went to 5 hours, my chances were very slim and I had to sign a form saying that I had been informed I may not make it (his medical group did not want him to do the surgery). I did have advanced, late stage cancer; they removed all my 'lady parts' and 16 lymph nodes. When we went for the post op visit, the surgeon asked Bri, "How long was she going to wait before telling someone?" Bri asked him why. The doctor said, "She had about 8 weeks...." Colin, trust yourself, you are not alone, Bri is going through a similar thing now, so we were talking back to the video at you. I have to share one last thing. When I went back to the surgeon for the pre-surgery visit, I went into his office and the ladies behind the desk had music blasting; Taylor Swift's "Fight Song". They apologized (no music when patients are in the office) and I said NO! Turn it up LOUD. And we all sang the song together. It set the tone for everything I went through. So, along with your needs to get your life back, "this is YOUR fight song, take BACK YOUR LIFE song! We are with you.
OMG! 😦
I have an almost identical story, but it was my gallbladder in my case, after complaining about pain for 7 years!!
Seven years? Jeez! I hope you’re okay now? ♥️
@@FoxesAfloat Thank you, I hope you eventually are too! ❤️
I hear and see strength in you, but breaks my heart to hear of your troubles. Appreciate your honesty always. xx
Thank you! 😊
You are a good example of assertive self-advocacy and I admire you for it. Hang in there and good luck with your health care issues. I hope you feel better soon!
Thanks Sarah 🙏🏻♥️
I'm so sorry to hear this, it's just terrible. Sending you lots of positive thoughts- love to you both xx
Thank you! 🤩
Totally agree that the service provided by the NHS has deteriorated. It feels like people are constantly being ignored and symptoms diminished. My husband almost died due to doctors trying to tell him that his appendicitis was IBS. He was on the cusp of Sepsis yet still had to beg (yes, beg!) the surgeon to do a laparoscopy. Afterwards the surgeon commented that it was a good job he'd taken it out because it was nasty. 🤦♂️
I don't blame you for paying for a private consultation and I really hope that you get back to full health soon.
Glad he’s okay 👍🏻
Colin i do hope you get sorted out soon at least you have your other half and be with you all the way and us as viewers will be there x
Thanks Anthony ♥️
Colin this brakes my heart I'm so sorry to have listened to how you have been treated some NHS staff are very quick to blame mental health, I've been following since 2020 and still love your videos. Please speak to a solicitor as this is so wrong send you and Shaun a big hug love ya both
Thanks, Richard ♥️
colin what can we say, but thank you bring this to attention, you are a strong person and i need to be the same. you are the one who feels that your body is not right and i am the same, your problem has to be sorted, why do we need to prove it's our body we know how it's run, not telling my story as it's not about me, but i had a hip replacement all most two years ago and now got the same symptoms as before having it done, i retired December last year hoping to be able to walk and enjoy my retirement it's not happening and now i am back to square one seeing a physio, but colin please get sorted and enjoy your time with the one you love . best wishes and have a good GREAT life, love Sandra x
Thanks Sandra. I hope you can get sorted ♥️
You have been an inspiration to look at the bright side of life no matter what life throws. You 100% are a sunshine beaming every time you upload. ❤
Wow, thank you! 🙏🏻
You take care of you. We will still be here for you both. As an RN I hate that my fellow health care professionals treated you soooo f”n horrible. Love and hugs
Thanks Judith ♥️
Get well soon Colin I won't unsubscribe ever 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
Ah, thanks Robert! 🙏🏻
The NHS seems to be a giant problem for a lot of us. Better days will come and trolls will always be trolls. Your amazing Colin. X
Thanks Sonia 🙏🏻👍🏻♥️
All I can say is, unless one has had the kidney stone, or gall stone issue, you cannot imagine the intense agony. Straightening up, rolling out of bed, walking, and forbid, weee.... it's agony. I am so sorry you've had to wrestle w/ it for years now.
Yup. Two and a half years of it now 😔
@@FoxesAfloat I am sorry. When I first went to the Emergency, they kept asking me if I drank or was going thru something else?
Colin, I’m so sorry to hear of your health situation and that you had to take matters into your own hands (and savings) to get the answers you should have had two years ago. I’m glad that you’re going to get it sorted. See you on Sunday. Hugs and love. 🥰🥰
Thanks Beth! 👍🏻🙏🏻♥️
Been there done that, I understand the pain. Hope you recover totaly as I did after my operation. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
I really hope so! 🤞🏻
Thank you for saying this. The concept of the NHS is a wonderful thing, the reality not always. There are some absolute legends in the NHS, and there are some absolute bell ends. You should report those people who have done you a disservice, or there is no accountability (still no guarantees, because as scandal after scandal shows, they don't want to acknowledge the failings for fear of reputational damage. I do hope that your chosen path provides some relief. I had some serious kidney pain a few months ago, nothing detected including an MRI, and its resolved itself (the painkillers only created their own problems). Fingers crossed I don't have something lurking where negligence can't find it.
Thanks Ben ♥️
I live in Canada, hip replacements were not recommended or done most often before a person was 60. At 58 it was apparent that I needed the surgery sooner than later. I had always tried to be active when the pain wasn't too bad, but over the 37 years that I suffered intermittent days or weeks of incapacity I lost a lot of muscle. Fast forward to recovery - estimated to be 6 weeks, 3rd week I walked 3.5 k. 6th week I walked 6 k, began a swimming program, and regained an active life again. My wish for you is to have the same success. Once the pain is gone, it is pretty amazing what you can accomplish. Big hugs, and hope that you have a successful surgery.
Really pleased! ♥️♥️♥️
One of the reasons I don’t use the two main social media platforms is because of those types of toxic people, who when they do comment only ever say negative tripe. I just see them in my mind’s eye as sad individuals in the pants all on their own , with nothing better to do than spout negativity and toxic crap. Try not to read these. I know it can be difficult and frustrating, be a the majority of people are kind and lovely people. Anyway get better soon etc . Mental is on going. I have good days and bad days. But I am fortunate to have a loving partner who is just there for me and helps home just move through it on the bad days. Anyway we love watching your content as and when we can do a very big thank you from us xx
Thanks Damian ♥️
What a horrendous story Colin, really feel for you, sending lots of love and we'll see what we can do to help you get sorted xx
Cheers guys. Hoping I’m closer to getting sorted now 👍🏻🙏🏻♥️
So sorry for your pain and the doctors who have kept you in pain!!!
Onwords and upwords
Been here since day 1 and not going anywhere. get well soon, Colin, and I hope Maud is OK too x
She’s fine 😂
I really feel for you Colin. I had issues earlier on this year that required two more stays in hospital, one of which was longer than the original stay! I hope that you can get answers this time, its such a shame that you are having to use savings to get sorted. Take care and thank you for your kind words to everyone x
Thanks Joanne! ♥️
Another RUclipsr said that, after already having cancer, he was going for a blood test via the NHS to see if had returned. He was given a test for anemia instead. The NHS is broken, and you're not alone with all the negligence that's going on. Good luck, Colin. 💜
So sorry you are going through this. Unfortunately that's our reality here in the US, however, to at insult to injury, we are actually paying to get ignored.
Wishing you a great outcome.
Maybe you could share some of your rehabilitation because people need to know it's never too late to build strength. It's harder, but worth it!
Thanks Melissa 🙏🏻
Thankyou for sharing been struggling with pain myself and ended up in hospital with suspected kidney stones.
You speak a truth that a lot of people are experiencing. Thankyou
Thanks ♥️
Sending you wellness and health.
Wishing you all the very best, hope next weeks appointment brings you permanent relief
Love to you both and the dogs ❤
I hope so too!
I don't always listen all the way through all the videos, but I ALWAYS stop in to visit! My father was a very strong with a high pain threshold. Kidney stones.. one and only time, he literally thought he would no come home from hospital. Was one and only time he had kidney stones.
SURE HOPE YOU CAN ACQUIRE NEW MEDICAL TEAM. often kidney stones are recurring problem
Get well as soon as you can best wishes to you and Shaun
Thanks William ♥️
Love you, hoping that you will be better soon.
Thanks Donna ♥️
We love you both and hope this all gets sorted out soon.
Same here! 😂
Hello Foxes ! Wishing you both the best always.
Thank you! You too!
Holy moly. So sorry you are still in pain & gone through that. I can relate. I changed GP's & have seen so many docs but never get anywhere. I even paid to see someone private in Harley street, a chronic embedded UTI specialist, but that was expensive & didn't help long term.
I am not even able to work anymore, & I do have another health condition that doesn't help, & I've had ultrasound scan 2021, CT scan in 2022, & an MRI this year for the other condition, & I always just tell myself if there was something wrong in the lower tummy, they'd have spotted it, & they haven't said anything.
I'm 53 & on the scrap heap now. I hope you manage to get you sorted out though.
You've always been very fit so you'll notice how bad you've got even more.
Sorry to hear that. I’m not giving up yet 👍🏻♥️
Prayers for a successful kidney treatment and prayers for getting your healthy active body back in shape. I agree, find a great lawyer. What was done to you is inexcusable. Get compensation from the quacks you were (not) treated by. Best of luck. ❤
what a story! You put your trust in the system and it abandons you! my deepest sympathy. hoping for your speedy recovery,
Thanks Peter 🙏🏻
Hoping everything goes well, for next week.Wendy❤
Many people have died because they have been gaslighted in this manor.
Don’t say that! It’s worrying enough already! 🤯😂
Bless you Colin. You are doing a good job. Keep doing what needs to be done to be well inside and out. Hugs from Mont Belvieu Texas XOXO
Thank you, Sarah! ♥️
I’m sending you love and hugs for healing Colin! I’m so sorry you have been going through so much without any support from your doctors. 💜
I can’t believe the medical gaslighting you experienced.
😠♥️
Sorry to hear you’ve been through all this trauma Colin, not being believed by clinicians for 2 years is incredibly bad! I hope you get the treatment you need and can start the recovery to being your old self/fitness levels very soon. Thank you for sharing your story with us all, hugs 🤗 to you and Sean xx
Thanks Sue ♥️
So very sad and sorry to hear what you have and continue to endure. Wishing you complete comfort from all the pain and sending healing hugs from Colorado🇺🇸♥️🌿Huge admiration and love 🥰
Cheers Laura ♥️
Colin, What a nightmare. I hope it all gets sorted and you are back to feeling better. When I was 5 my Mother had a brain tumor, had horrible headaches and the doctor said she was just a hysterical woman wanting attention. Because of that doctor I have lived 71 years without my Mother. Fortunately I have a wonderful doctor who listens and acts accordingly. I never hear, "it's all in your head". So please keep on trying to get to the root of your trouble. And keep us informed. I wish you all the best and hopefully, soon, no more pain.
I’m so sorry you lost your mum that way. ♥️
Getting the channel back to where it used to be is not the most important thing. Getting to the bottom to your physical pain is the most important thing. Hang in there and keep on moving forward to where you want to be - in good health. Cheers!
You’re right, but I need goals too 👍🏻♥️
Colin, been there too and you have my sympathy. Get the stone removed, have a scan afterwards to prove it gone and then deal with the back. After kidney stones back pain is the worst. The NHS is failing and GPs seem to have lost the plot.
Looking forward to getting it sorted! ✔️
Colin and Sean. Don’t forget how great you are! You educate and entertain us. Please protect and guard yourselves, as you are loved.the crew of SV Olympia appreciates and loves you both. Keep the faith and heal.
Thanks George ♥️
I am supposed to be dead and pushing up daisies about 15 years ago. Nobody, according to my GP with 30 years experience has ever survived it. But here I am. Only because I didn't give up without a fight. I found experimental surgery, plopped the research papers on my GP's desk and said "how would you like to punt"? He did. Found me the surgeon who would do the unthinkable outside of standard medical practice. It worked. And I've got the scars and scans to prove he did it. Moral of the story? DO NOT GIVE UP. FIND THE SURGEON WHO CAN DO IT CORRECTLY. You're half way there. You now know who not to trust. Now you've got to find the surgeon you can trust. Interview more than one if you have to, find one with massive experience. But most importantly "DO NOT GIVE UP". And trust your instincts when you interview them.
Thanks Gary 🙏🏻♥️
I am from USA, SO sorry you are in so much physical pain and turmoil. Really hope you're able to be pain free soon. Yes, still having pain there should have been a followup visit. Prayers and hope for you both.
Thanks Jeanne x
As a person who has suffered with kidney stones, I can't even imagine how horrible these few years have been for you. I've even given birth, and the pain from my kidney stones was way worse! Praying you finally receive the help you should have received years ago. *hugs*
Thanks Laura ♥️👍🏻
Wow...just wow😮 As a person that has recently fought kidney stones for the last year. This is unbelievable about those doctors. This is a prime example of knowing your own body better than any doctors. Being in-tune with your body, mind & soul. I'm so sorry this happened to you. But I believe now, you are heading in the right direction. Good for you for taking charge in your health. You both are always in my prayers 🙏 ❤️ Stay positive...Don't get too down in the dumps. You have many cheering you on😊🥰🙏🙏🙏 Love as always ❤❤❤
Thank you 🤩
Bless you Colin. I do hope you receive the pain relief you need wherever it comes from.
Colin, I'm SO sorry you've been in pain and that those people that are supposed to help us (medical) have poo-pooed what you've been telling them. I live in the U.S. and our medical insurance costs are astronomical. Even with the high costs here I'm not sure the doctors ALWAYS listen to us when WE know our bodies and what our bodies tell us. I think doctors always think they know everything because they've had so much education. I'm glad you've taken things into your own hands and I'll pray that you find good doctors in the future.
So do I! Thanks 🙏🏻
Sending huge hug xx and lots of love to you both xx
Thanks Ian ♥️
Man that's awful. You've been let down by so many people. To think of you living with that amount of pain for so long, and continuing to do so, is heart breaking. Hugs. Good luck in Edinburgh.
Thanks Andrew 👍🏻♥️
You poor thing I’m so sorry to hear this. I really hope you get this sorted soon. Sending lots of love and positive thoughts your way.
Thanks Stella ♥️
Wishing the best for you both. Glad you were able to, but sorry you had to share this with us.
Thank you!
Take care of yourselves, both of you have been through it and your health comes first.
Thank you 🤩
Jean from Suffolk. Love you guys .A breath of fresh air ❤
Aww, ta Jean ♥️
Wow so sorry you have gone through all of this! Every woman I know is treated like this at one time or another. Getting doctors to believe us can be difficult. So glad you took it in your own hands!! Wishing you the best!!! ❤
Thank you so much!
Still following you both, all the best, fingers crossed for a good outcome ❤🙏
Thanks Mike! ♥️👍🏻
The channel can wait, I’m not going anywhere, your physical & mental health is important. Please get advice about possible malpractice by the urologist - there may be others who’ve had the same experience & believe they are the only ones who’ve been through this & until someone speaks out, it will carry on. See you both tomorrow night ❤❤
Thanks Katharine. I’m focused on getting treatment before looking for any legal reproach.
Watching this really hit home ..Ive had same issues with my GP
Lots of chronic health issues that I just can't get sorted and no one takes seriously
Sorry to hear that. I hope you get sorted 👍🏻♥️
Jeez! You have been treated appallingly! Such a shame that you have to spend your own money on what should have been sorted by the NHS. All the best for your treatment and I hope they get you back to pain free fitness. Meanwhile, sue the NHS - they should at least cover your costs plus a fair chunk for the pain they have caused you. Cheers
Yeah, focusing on getting myself sorted first 👍🏻♥️
This brought back awful memories and made my cry - partly because of the memory but also for the horrendous situation you've been in. Around 25 years ago, while in England, I had a stone stuck in my ureter and was constantly sent away by GPs saying it was in my head, and to stop keep coming in for different painkillers (none of which made the slightest difference), and at one point they said I should get help for addiction to pain killers. No! I'm not addicted to them - I try them, they make no difference, I come back begging to try something else. I'm not finishing them! Pleeeease give me a scan.
I KNEW something was wrong. It took just over 2 years of being on my hands and knees on the floor, crying, before I finally got a scan (after an ambulance ride that my 6 year old had to call for - she was terrified) and they found the stone.
No one who hasn't felt it can possibly imagine the pain of kidney stones, or stones blocking the urinary tract. My right kidney was blown up like a balloon. The operated immediately and said I was lucky it didn't burst. No thanks to the GPs who refused to believe me. Silly woman, presumably, suffers from depression so it's all in her head. My god I was SO angry on your behalf watching this video...
In your shoes, if I could access some money, I'd do exactly the same. No way would I trust anyone who had "treated" me previously. I wish you the very best, and I hope it's not too long before you can vlog to tell us it has finally gone and you can concentrate on the rest of you. Hugs from Nairn xx
Part of me is happy that I’m not alone in this exact situation. Another part of me is so sad that you had to go through the same pain. It’s inexcusable! I hope you’ve been okay since it happened? ♥️
@@FoxesAfloat Thank you - yes all has been well since. It was a few days for the pain to fully go away after they broke it up, but since then it's been fine. What a relief that was though, and I hope with all my heart it won't be long now before you experience that too. Take care xx
I'm praying that you get the proper medical care you desperately need. I wish you a complete and speedy recovery.
Thank you! 🙏🏻
You have my sympathy. Its really not fair to family and yourself . Everyone will be thinking about litigation. Why not? Love and peace for you both.
What a pile of crap you have had to deal with Colin. Women recognise this attitude. Takes on average about 7 years to be diagnosed for endometriosis and those years are often spent being told you are a hysterical woman and "it's normal".
That’s really sad! ♥️
Hi Colin, I’m so sorry you’ve gone through such a torrid experience 😢 They don’t always get things right & that has a huge impact on our lives both physically & mentally. 😢 As someone with Lupus I can relate to the exhaustion of being in constant pain & how it chips away at everything that previously brought you joy in life. But, I can also say, that you will get your fitness back & you will start to trust your body again with time & help from you’re new medical team 💕 You can & will get back to doing all the things that you love to do. It might not feel like it now & you might feel like you’ve a mountain to climb, but you’ve got a huge amount of tenacity! you have had to, to deal with all the pain & stress! It’s cliche but you are stronger than you think, we all are. 💕 Take your time, you’re on the right path ❤️🩹 Healing hugs, Em 💜
I’m hoping so! ♥️
Get yourself sorted Colin I know exactly what you mean you have really got to insist if you are ill these days
I am so sorry you are going through this. Glad to know you are doing this on your own. I wish you the best of luck with your new venture.
Thank you so much!
Wow... sorry you're going through this. I'm genuinely shocked at how cavalier they were about the pain... especially since if you've had one stone, you have a good chance of developing another. Why it is so difficult to... you know.. _CHECK_ if your patient has another stone in there (or the same one in your case) is a mystery to me.
It’s common sense, yeah? 👍🏻
Well done for staying true to yourself and sticking with your inner feelings.
I hope your GP is now listening to you with a great deal of reality?
Stay positive to your self belief
Hope you get sorted, Colin, and that the auction goes well. Us women know exactly what you mean by not being listened to and fobbed off, its always down to 'oh, its just your hormones, wrong time of the month, pre-menopause, all women are hypochondriacs anyway etc etc. Its sad it has to be like that. Fingers crossed for a good result though :)
Sorry you’ve suffered too. x
You're a good lad Colin. So sorry to hear your story but the happy end is in sight now you know the full picture.(everyone loves a happy ending!) Beautiful backdrop by the way and very well chosen.
Cheers ♥️🙏🏻
Sending sooo much love, support, sympathy etc etc xxxx no one .....NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON can perform publicly when their physical/mental health ( and that of their loved ones) ... is disrupting their day to day life. Love your vlogs.....water based and heather based alike xxxxxxx
Thanks Jenny ♥️
Colin, I'm SO sorry you've had to endure this terrible pain for so long. We patients have to be our own advocates now! You are doing the right thing going for Private health care, even tho it is expensive. Hope this new Dr. considers doing lithotripsy to "blast" the kidney stone. I'm sending love & healing vibes for a successful outcome, FINALLY! ❤️
Me too! Thanks, Kathy ♥️
Wishing you a pain-free solution. Your true friends/fans are here for you.
Oh my goodness, Colin, what a dreadful time of it you’ve had and are continuing to have. I really hope that your trip to Edinburgh is successful and you finally get sorted. My hubby was treated at the Western in Edinburgh for prostate cancer by a consultant urologist, professor McNeil, and he whipped out that prostate straight into the bin and hubby is coming up to the 5 year clear point. I know you haven’t got cancer, but I wish you only good health and a pain free life going forward.
Really glad your hubby got successful treatment. Shaun just passed seven years clear after his prostate was removed. Here’s to many more! ♥️

That's the best thing--pay for your medical help. NHS sounds useless. I am so sorry you have been suffering this long. I have had chronic pain most of my adult life. It has gotten severe now that I am old, so I totally understand. I hate to know that someone is in pain. I pray that you finally get this fixed right this time! Give your back time. It may feel better once you can get back to your activities and back in shape again. You still look great, and Shaun too! Love to both, and the pups!
