Very good video. I found with my left heel being fused saddleseat riding helped me out alot. Because I can't do a deep drop with my heel anymore and hold it for a long periods of time.
I kind of prefer watching the Indian people ride the Marwari gaited horse, it looks more comfortable, and I don’t like the look of ‘posting’ I always rode western so the English saddle is an enigma for me.
I’m sorry but people who ride this way know nothing of equine anatomy and physiology or even basic equine biomechanics…. This hurts to just watch watch them standing there…
@@martinedijkstra4051Saddle Seat is ridden in a cutback saddle, which is specifically designed to free up the shoulder movement for the horse and place the rider SLIGHTLY further back. It's not like they are sitting on the horse's hindquarters.... People really make a big fuss over 2 inches of seat placement.
This was very helpful. Looking forward to other videos.
bro does not miss leg day

Me too ! Mines froze at the ankle. I have to ride with one stirrup longer than the other.
Thank you so much
Have you talked about diagonals? And why we do that?
Awesome video! I will have to try that technique with having the stirrup in front of the line on my boot!
Had to turn it off. I couldn't hear him for all the squealing in the background. :(
This was really helpful! Thank you.

Same here, but then I'd sometimes post the trot in western, anyway. haha

Are you saying that Saddle Seat is abuse??? It is not abuse.
The rider is not sitting in the right position. He's hurting the horse. He has to sit more to the front of the back.
