Thanks so much for this video. I was searching and googling trying to find the terminology for what I would like to do. Ideally I want people in my non profit group to be able to host the meetings so I don't have to be at everyone. However I don't want them to be able to make certain changes for example "change my plan" as it is my email that is tied to this account. Question: So if I add them as a alternative host and put in their email address I assume they will be prompted for a password when they sign in? How is that password assigned? as I don't want to mine to them. Thanks in advance and thanks again Ed.

Hi Ed. So sorry for the delayed response. To be able to add someone as an alternative host they would have to have their own Zoom account in you organization's Zoom account. They would not have access to your plan or your account.

Then if I gave them the same license account as me for both of them how they can secure safely my account? I think they have the same access us me and they can also mange my setting detail? Can a co-host push the button ‘Close All Rooms’? If yes, can we disable it somehow?
We are going to organize a zoom meeting with around 1000 participants and 40 co-hosts.
    This with 13 break-out rooms.
The participants need to decide by themselves which room they want to join.

In looking at Zoom documentation, it looks like both the host and cohost can assign, start, and end breakout rooms. I went though our settings and couldn’t find an area to disable this.

Good morning! A few questions. If you are doing a Zoom webinar, can you add a co-host if it is activated in your account? Mine is currently not set up for co-hosts - I would only use this for webinars. I am an admin and I am assuming since I do meetings on behalf of my manager, his account settings would need to change for him to be able to add a co-host to a regular Zoom meeting - can an Alternative Host (AH) add a co-host? And I am assuming that if a host had to leave the meeting and designated a co-host the webinar or Zoom would not close.
I designated 2 AHs to a Zoom webinar under my account and neither participant received an AH invitation - the panelists did receive a Panelist invite. There is an option to send an invitation to AHs, and I did that (multiple times) but, again, they did not receive invitations of any kind. I removed them as AHs and designated them as Panelists and they received an invitation almost immediately. Also if I set up an AH for a regular meeting on behalf of my manager and the manager left the meeting and the meeting suddenly ended, is it because the AH is not logged in as an AH? I was in the meeting when this happened but I am not listed as an AH - I set up the meetings on behalf of my manager. I am not sure what happened. Leave vs End could have been a problem too but I would appreciate an answer to that question!
