- Add STL Files to the Relief Clip Art Library in Carveco Maker...
More down here ↓↓↓ Click SHOW MORE!
In this video I'll show how you can convert .STL files into a .ART file and then how to to direct the relief library to show your .ART files. Then I'll display a few of the reasons you might want to access your designs in this manner.
Should I plan some Live Q&A Sessions? I was thinking Fridays at 4PM PST

This is the most helpful video I’ve seen on Carveco as of yet. Please make more videos.
This was informative and I appreciate your time on this.
Cheers Seth. Great video and very interesting for me as I'm just starting out with the cnc and carveco maker. I'm still taking baby steps at the moment, but loving every minute and so grateful for your support and input. Ice cream and Oreo pie incoming #4k 😋
Thanks Seth, perfect timing !
Big help, Thank You for sharing!

Thanks for supporting my channel even after my 6 month break from new videos🙏🙏
I could use some help with a 3D model that when I import it. Mostly, imports flat. 3D viewer P97. STL.
Hey Darrin, could you email me the stl file. my email address is cncSeth@gmail.com
Thanks!
Could you add more detail on merge high/merge low/replace?
Certainly. I wanted to show how I've used these to make wavy flags with custom logos using these features of the relief library. I'll have to include a section on the different merging functions in this stacking relief video 👍👍
@@SethCNC thanks Seth. I could use all the help I can get 😉
When I import a clipart image how do I change the height, the method I use for stl files do not wook? Thanks
Because Clipart is a flat vector the height is controlled by the mateiral thickness setting found at the very bottom of the toolpath panel and the toolpath settings for how deep to carve into that material.
@@SethCNC I'll check it out, th
Thanks
@@SethCNC BTW, why do the software people call them Reliefs not images, etc? Curious.
@Mike Ledee reliefs are 3d, top down only. Basically a 3d model but with a flat bottom, so it's called a "3d relief" due to the flat bottom it isn't totally 3d.
How can i convert a jpg to stl? Thanks
You'd need carveco maker plus. Here is an example of that process

Wow, I'm getting dizzy watching you bounce your mouse around! Is that the way your brain works?
Please Please Please stop the wandering mouse, just spend a few seconds on what is important as the constant moving blows my mind on what is a great video, just slow down we all have lots of time to watch
